- In this wargaming terrain tutorial, we build some really easy miniature barricades using basic materials, that look fantastic for tabletop games. I show you how to first make a simple skeleton for these barricades that can then be turned into either fantasy/Age of Sigmar terrain, or modern/sci-fi terrain perfect for games such as Warhammer40k.
The materials used for this build are the same materials we've used throughout my tutorial videos so far, and are really easy to get your hands on.For the 40k barricades, I use a few different elements from previous videos, using the same easy to find materials, and pull together a great looking Wargaming Terrain piece that can be used for a range of different tabletop games.
The simple fantasy themed miniature barricade can be put together with just a paddlepop stick and some wooden stirrers in a few minutes, and with a quick paint, be ready for gaming in a very short time.In this tutorial I will link to the previous videos showing how to make Miniature Wooden Pallets, Miniature Tank Traps, and also the really great looking oil drums made from simple plastic straws. All these elements brought together quickly create some fantastic looking wargaming terrain quite quickly, and look great on the tabletop.
Thanks everyone for watching, and thank you to everyone that has subscribed already to the channel, it really means a lot.

Thanks for watching everyone. Don't forget once you've made the main structure of these barricades as you'll see early on in the video, you can really take them anywhere using what you have on hand. I've reused some extra bits from my previous builds, but if you've got extra parts from minis, or sprues, small sticks or bits of rubbish you can cut down, just about anything will work to add the details on these. I hope you enjoy the video.
Just curious- Paddle stick? we just say a popsicle stick, do you guys have other kinds of popsicle sticks? We eat a popsicle, what do you call your popsicle? :) These look great btw!!!
Watchin this stuff come together is really great.
Thanks man. Really appreciate the kind words, I'm having a blast on this end as well.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you find some of the content helpful. Take care and all the best.
keep it up man
Thanks mate. Glad you're enjoying the videos.
I gotta make some proper barricades. I’ve been using some old and simple ones, but I really love the method of making many different bits, and then arranging them together
Yeah this worked out really well. If I had more spare bits from units I would have liked to add some armor pieces and weapons and that sort of thing, but you work with what you got. Thanks for watching again mate.
@@RFDHobby Yes! Bits do so much to give a sense of scale, but I'm always too much of a cheapskate to sacrifice my precious buts for a terrain project 😅 And your videos are always a pleasure to watch! :)
Really nice looking terrain pieces! your work is very good and I always enjoy watching your channel.
Thanks so much John. Glad you're enjoying it mate. Plenty more to come.
Nice easy tutorial! Great job dude!

Love these barricades man awesome!!!!
Thanks mate. I was really happy with these too. I'll be making some more of these for sure.
@@RFDHobby make a terrian store in aussie there's always a need for terrian lll
@@orcpaintshop355 I'd love to sell this stuff. Maybe then I could afford to build with something other than sticks and straws haha.
The question is can I use this design to build larger walls for the zombie apocalypse?
Absolutely Nate. Although you're going to need a hell of a lot of PVA glue and paddlepop sticks.
