The down conductor (Either Cu flat or Cu flexible conductor) can also be run on LT insulator fixed on the wall or use the insulated (Green & Yellow ) Cu flexible conductor which shall also be fixed on to the wall directly with clamp. A disconnecting type link may be provided on the wall - above 2 ft from the FGL- for measuring the earth resistance (after disconnecting the above link) every year.
Most of the time the household equipment s are damaged due to the high power surge from the main electrical connection.or through other cables connection s to the home . The lightning arrestor cannot prevent this damage .

PVC conduit which carry the down conductor shall be filled with cement slurry, if empty conduit is used there will be chances of vigorous vibrations of conductor due to the lightning current flow leads to damages to the building

I have been working this lightning and surge protection for the last 4 years.. Worked as technical head for 2 international companies.
Don't share this kind of information to anyone if your not clear about lightning protection system. Most of the things you have mentioned in your video is not complies any IEC/IS 62305 STD .
For your information please ref iec/is 62305 or National building code of India 2016 chapter 11 for understanding actually what is a lightning protection system
