Whenever I see an artist review on a Microsoft tablet, all I usually need to see is (A) whether it's using an MPP pen and (B) the diagonal line test. Review is pretty much over at that point. Microsoft needs to scrap MPP protocol and start over. Microsoft is a billion dollar company. There's no good reason they can't figure out how to draw a straight line. Meanwhile, companies worth a fraction of Microsoft are catching up to Wacom quality.
Does the tablet gets hot when you are drawing or using pen for more than 20 mins or may be longer ? Older version of this tablet gets very hot when using a pen, please do share your feedback on this as, it's important for me to decide for purchase
I would like to use the surface pro mostly for drawing and atm I dont know which one is the best: pro 9,10 or 11? Which one do you think is the best for drawing?
I wanted to watch the whole video but I don't have time. I have a question ¿Have you tried dreawing on ipad? if so ¿which device gives a better drawing experience?

Because of Arm, there are problems with the apps. Except Photoshop (or Plus?), Affinity (only with Snapdragon® X Elite), ... SP9 or SP10 (Intel) is better. Disadvantage: battery life
I wouldn't say that - if the SlimPen 2 or SlimPen is used. The SlimPen 2 has advantages, but so does the SlimPen (see specs and accessories). If SP11 with Snapdragon® X Elite (and Plus), there is a big disadvantage with the apps. Arm is not supported (mostly only emulated). Except Photoshop (whether Plus?), Affinity (only with Snapdragon® X Elite), ... If SP9 or SP10 only Intel. Check whether the app also has tablet mode. Surface - pen - pressure sensitivity setting. Color space settings Disadvantage: Battery life not as long with Intel Heavier weight Advantage of Apple Pro 13: With the apps - especially between Fresco and ProCreate All apps are adapted for tablets. Matte screen. It depends on what kind of system you have. Whether Apple or Windows. If Apple - then iPad. If Windows - then Surface (Intel).
Hi Teoh! Just bought the Ipad Air M2 with Apple Pencil Pro. I'm still getting used to drawing on it. I really like your style on outdoor sketching, do you have videos/channels to just you doing these sketches? Would love to watch some
Should be okay. But it really depends on what kind of precision you're looking at. If you need line art to be precise, just note that there will be diagonal line wobble from the MS Slim Pen 2 so that will affect accuracy.
i want to draw while code, so its perfect...u didn't mention app compatibility which is the main issue when you use surface 11 due to using arm architecture...
I did mention. Not all Adobe apps are available yet. E.g. Adobe Illustrator is not available, no After Effects, Premiere Pro is 2023 version. Apps that run through emulation works well without lag, e.g. Clip Studio, Krita, Medibanng. I had issues with Huion driver (x86) driver not working. Can't say much about drivers from Wacom, Xppen and other companies as I don't have them to test currently.

Actually I've not really seen many complains about OLED burn in for OLED tablets released years ago, e.g. Samsung. So OLED burn in should not be too much of an issue
Just watch the bottom line to save time. This video went on way longer than expected

Trillion…
Best video on the surface product, by far. You made me buy the pro 11.
Many thanks for this review. Wish they can produce ipad alike pen experience
I love watching your videos. They are so calming and chill. Love it! Keep it up Teoh on Tech!
Hello Teoh! Nice review as always
Could you review the Honor Magic Pad 2? Other digital artists are saying it's pretty decent.
Greetings from Bolivia!
Bump, waiting for a Teoh review to make a decision.
Even i need one to practice programming
Great review. Microsoft Paint definitely doesn't have palm rejection yet which is kinda frustrating.

Doesn’t get hot. Fans don’t even spin, or they spin but I can’t hear them
Is it compatible with the Bamboo Ink Plus pen? Have you tested it?
Is it recommended overall?
great review, can you do Honor Magicpad 2 next?
I saw that RedMagic tablet have stylus support as well. I wish that they could send you a unit for review. 😅

11 is substantially better than the previous version

which apps do oyu suggest for art work? i use procreate on ipad just looking for something on my Surface Pro 11 as well
Clip Studio, Medibang Paint, Sketchbook Pro. There are no apps on Windows that is similar to Procreate
@@teohontech7141 What about Fresco (similar Procreate)
Because of Arm, there are problems with the apps.

Do you prefer the IPad Air 13 or the SP9/11 for drawing?
iPad still has better drawing performance than the Surface Pro

Surface - pen - pressure sensitivity setting.

Battery life not as long with Intel

Have you tested Rebelle 7 on this laptop?
Have not tried that

Please make review on galaxy book 5 pro 360
It’s not sold in Singapore so not likely to review it
No SD card slot anymore.
That is a pity.
But you can upgrade the SSD so that is a huge plus
Thank you.

- Huawei matepad 11,5 S ???

how does this pen compare to Huion slim pen ? In terms of drawing/writing.
Huion pen performance is consistent and predictable. There are no jitter or line taper issues
How to loan one from Microsoft Singapore to try?
I don't think they have such loan programmes. Best to try it at retail electronics store.
Can you install a software from cd to this via external cd reader ? Planning to install windows office 2021
Should not be an issue
