Watching from Sydney and love the hospitality and diners in country USA. Subscribed to Tennessee Crossroads and am now a fan of this channel. Love Texas!
If you ever get here to Texas then I would say you gotta try chicken fried steak, moist brisket and pecan pie. There are many other recommendations on my list, but this is a start. Of course, they must be in restaurants that have reputation for good food..
I have to give a shout out for The Cattlemans Cafe in Blue Ridge. It is the only actual " restaurant " in our town of 900 souls. But the atmosphere and food with a dash of true Texas kindness is a winning combination. Thank you
I've had a couple of pretty good breakfasts at the Filling Station restaurant in Navasota. One of the few places in the area open early Sunday morning.
The best I had was at Sirloin 66 Cafe in Anson TX. Best omelets, best scrambled eggs, best biscuits and best bacon. Unfortunately like a lot of small town cafes it closed about 10 years ago.
Sadly the Paris Coffee cafe was sold and the home style cooking and waiters are long gone. Now it's just like a chain. Nothing memorable. Just fills you up. So sad.
We live in SA. Our lakehouse is outside Burnet on Buchanan. I have been stopping at the Bluebonnet since 1976 -- my Mimi and Papa long before -- for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's always busy and always delicious. It's a Marble Falls institution. It's worth the drive up US Hwy 281. Check it out.
Yummy. Breakfast is one of my absolute favorites. Thanks for sharing. Many blessings to you and yours in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The name above ALL names. AMEN.
Bluebonnet Cafe Haltom City, Tx. And, by the way...the photo of the packed plate looks a lot like a Full Irish Breakfast served all across the Emerald Isle. Eggs, Irish bacon(that is more like Canadian bacon here), sausages(bangers), potatoes(of course), baked beans, 1/2 grilled tomato, black pudding, white pudding(both are sausages made with oats or barley, pork meat/liver, fat...the black includes pig blood), Irish brown bread, and often mushrooms. That'll sure get your day started!
Hmmmm ..........online voting explains a lot. LOVE this show but I honestly was underwhelmed by the choices for best breakfast in Texas. Backstraps and bisquits? =)
My house has the best breakfast in Texas. Avacodo toast, organic fried eggs, spicy spuds, and fresh ground Texas Maple coffee! Now you just have to find it.

Does the place in Marble Falls still have the best.
Hilda's on the outskirts of Fredericksburg and The Bowling Alley Cafe in Blanco, Texas are right up there as well.
Twin Sisters 💃 Dance hall !!
The Pie at Blue Bonnet is worth the trip ... if their breakfast is as good as the Pie... I may have to move
Maxine's in Bastrop has a great breakfast. Their pancakes are plate size and can be made with blueberries or pecan praline. Yum.
Sounds yummy for sure
Got to get me some bacon and dumplins

Hello there, Who is watching this after a Dr. Sten Ekberg video ? lol. Life is good in Texas. I love it. Cheers from France
Okay, so basically if I ever go back to San Antonio, I should just eat at Mi Tierra for all my meals. Good to know...
Some of the best enchiladas I’ve ever eaten were at Mi Tierra. The tres leches cake is divine too.
No don’t, it’s garbage.
@@joememphis1571 You’re white aren’t you? That’s garbage is nasty
@@naughtyvalues …Since WW2 and you say it’s garbage? It’s a San Antonio staple…people have celebrated weddings there.

It's hard to mess up breakfast!
It would be my Wife to burn the toast, the coffee and my sunny side up eggs. Makes for a bad morning.

Mi Tierra was really good when I went there for dinner years ago during my vacation.
Mia Tierra is the best place to eat in San Antonio I have found for any meal. Love that Bakery also.
Why? I live in San Antonio it’s disgusting. That’s garbage is for tourist. It’s not Mexican. You’re on crack
Hey Bob, hit up Pam’s in Breckenridge. Tell her we want blueberry pancakes.
Paris is far above the Blue Bonnet.
The Rise and Shine in Pantego does a great breakfast. More varieties of omelette than you can shake a stick at.
Always forget about that place. And I live so close.
Blue Bonnet looked so good.
It’s worth it right before two rounds of golf at horseshoe bay!

Is nobody going to mention that the thumbnail is a proper authentic English breakfast?
C C’s cafe’ in Tomball. Great breakfast.

Texas may have great breakfast's but their politics sure sucks big time.
Good reason for you to stay away.

You can't display a toad in a fine restaurant like this! Why, the good folks here would go right off the feed!
