I really hope microsoft delivers in that activision acquisition, and gives us that cod zombies standalone game with classic round based gameplay and maybe a little open world thing to get between maps that also has story stuff to give incentive not to just use menus
Don't know if anyone knows or will see this comment, but with hacks on WaW, at least on PS3, there's a weapon called "Default" where your character makes a gun with his thumb and pointing and middle finger and actually shoots.
You used to be able to get a mod menu on the 360 using a USB and you could spawn that. WaW Zombies is the only game that I can remember where a mod menu from a USB would work online.
Honestly it’s insane the huge increase in quality over the past year. You keep getting better and better. Great video as always! Looking forward to your next one! Also yeah the Donnie Darko crossover is the weirdest thing I’ve seen out of this godforsaken franchise, and that says a lot

Frost not being in that mine mission with the rest of the squad hurts. Gator literally uses a model that could feasibly represent Frost, based on his look in those front facing images
On scrapped maps from Modern Warfare 2019, Invasion from Modern Warfare 2 is actually visable in game right next to the map Euphrates Bridge Easiest way to see it is to go into Spectator Mode for the map and get up high and look straight down Edit: The way the Vodianoy ship made it to 2021 after dissapearin off the coast of Rebirth Island with a shipment of Nova 6 is because it most likely went through a portal (Or somethin like that) to the Dark Aether only to come back from the Dark Aether 37 years later infested with Nazi Zombies off the coast of Rebirth Island and sail on through to Verdansk and crash land on the beach not fair from the Gulag releasin all the Zombies and Nova 6 leadin to the destruction of Verdansk via Nuke to cover it up
In the first outbreak season dark aether missiles are launched into the pacific ocean, my guess is the vodianoy was affected by the blasts and ended up in a dark aether portal to 2019
I remember when black ops was out releasing DLC, rebirth island was one of the rumoured locations. It just felt so weird playing that campaign mission, it had the vibes of a zombie map. Also the mission when Mason punches Hudson, that was rumoured heavily as well.
Even though it’s not confirmed that Cold War zombies is canon. It’s designed in a way that makes it canon if you want it to be. None of the events in cw zombies really interfere with the campaign, and all the intel refers to how it’s all been kept a secret from the general public. And there’s a radio where peck cracks a joke about Kravchenko being sent to Afghanistan, and if Peck survived the gas explosion, it’s possible Kravchenko did too. Aaaand you could also say it makes sense since Weaver isn’t mentioned in BO2 , since in CW zombies (1985) , he’s in prison. (The 80’s part of BO2 is 1987 if I remember correctly)
Fantastic video, well done 👌 You were indeed correct with the MW2 Contingency sub theory, there is a video where someone restored the original submarine section Also, Kristina had Weavers role in very early BO1 campaign, before being replaced by him and reused as his lore niece
You missed something with the "Of Their Own Accord" scrapped dialogue. There's alternate files for some of the voice lines later in the sequence (I think from the "30 percent effectiveness" onwards) that have a different person speaking, seemingly implying the original radio operator was killed. I've also heard, though I can't find any reliable source for this, that even later in the sequence there's yet another set of voice lines where a civilian is speaking, again, implying all of the soldiers are dead.
I know now it does NOTHING. But, since I was a kid playing WaW zombies and hearing ways to "guarantee better weapons" from the box, i've never hit the box without aiming at the little latch square on the lid of the box and then knifing before the weapon appears. It's been hard wired into my brain all these years.
Hey man, great video the research and the editing were amazing. Also I was wondering if you could make a video on a mafia game series iceberg some day if that even exists. it would be cool to see an iceberg about this game series
The reason they changed the stairs in the IOS port of Kino is due to performance issues on IOS. When that came out, gaming on phones wasn’t anywhere near what it is now obviously. I guess it couldn’t render anything for very far, and they couldn’t bother to just add fog. So they just changed the stairs to block your view. The only reason I know this is because I’ve played that and if you get the right angles you can see that one side will not load until you walk to it.

The Map Dusk looks like it was redesigned into Crossfire for MW 2007. If you look at the map it looks like they cut the left side portion kept the middle and right and added another side to the right of the original right side. It almost perfect match to the L bend in the map.
Great video!! Something i wanna add is the clown Advanced Warfare has a name, its Gunzo, and we know that since CoD Mobile has the exact suit and a name for it.

For the Contingency Sub Interior part, it was originally planned to board the sub, do some breaches and then launch the missile with Captain Price. For one reason or another, the part was scrapped for unknown reasons, and later the entire section was used for a mission in MW3.

“We are taking heavy casualties at the evac site. Combat effectiveness is at thirty percent. We can’t sustain much more damage.”
“All call signs be advised, civilians are taking up arms to defend the evac site but they’re completely untrained! We’re on the verge of being completely overrun, we need help now!”
“This is the evac site! Combat personnel are mostly dead! We are at ten percent combat effectiveness! Requesting additional fire support, over!”
“Whiskey Mike evac site to all call signs! Enemies are moving rapidly on our position! We’re hanging on by a thread here, over!”
“All call signs be advised! Whiskey Mike evac site is combat ineffective! We’re totally pinned down over here, they’ll be coming in any second now!”
“Enemies are inside the evac site! Repeat, enemy troops are inside the evac site! We’ve lost the civvies! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Why it was cut I don’t know, but good lord. I think I’m good with just No Russian.
The NOOOOOOOOOOOO got me laughing and rolling around on the ground.
Might hit more if I was murican. But just seems like typical fictional story about a foreign country
Those 2nd massacre audio bits at around 1:30:00 really made me feel something. Really well made......
they capture the chaos and panic very well, in the later ones you can barely understand the soldier
The first time i heard those audio clips they scared the absolute shit outta me because of how authentic they sound and how authentic the guy calling for help sounds
@@Awolkmedia1990 "WE LOST THE CIVVIES NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" *starts firing side arm*
@@Awolkmedia1990 fucking same
That shit is way to accurate to what it sounds like when someone is having there entire squad gunned down over radio
2nd Massacre is honestly one of the most disturbing things I found in a video game (that is not from the horror genre obviously).
8:04 Best part, people said he survived being burned because one of the Shadow Company soldiers dumped "most" of the gasoline on Roach. But Raven Software gave the finger to that theory for good in the remastered version, now showing the gasoline evenly distributed to Ghost and Roach xD
The cut audio lines for the Washington Monument site always give me goosebump. Scares the mess out of me.
1:27:00 This is a historically "accurate" myth. The myth of direwolves on the battlefields of WW1 and WW2 were common because of all the wolves eating well on the dead.
16:22 I can’t get over how he pronounced “Promenade”
"Restrepo" as "rest repo" hit me even harder. It's the last name of Juan "Doc" Restrepo, who died at age 20 in Afghanistan.
I've never heard a native English speaker butcher relatively easy words so badly lol
Wow remastered and expanded! It’s clear that a lot of love went into this video dude. Keep going my man I’ll support you whatever you do
Those radio messages starting at 1:31:06 were god damn *bone chilling*. I honestly think they should have kept like 80% of that in there, that would get me to shoot quicker
yeah i agree 100%. it even switched to a new voice who repeats the situation like it’s new to them cuz the old guy died
Another great Call Of Duty video, well explained and keep it up 👍
Back when I first found out about the round 50 Easter Egg on zetsubou in 2016 I remembered the zombies storyline had heavy Lovecraft influences so I looked into all of the monsters from the Lovecraft universe and found one that matched the exact description as the swamp monster from zetsubou. Its name is Zoth-Ommog. Just wanted to share this since most ppl don’t seem to know this
I loved Zetsubou, one of my favorite maps all time.
The part where you tried to explain the story crossover of cod mobile made me laugh so hard plus the part where you said the "insanity" of the story of cod mobile and in screen there was soap who looked like vaas from far cry 3 was the chery on top
wow I came from the Star Wars iceberg and the fact you have absolutely amazing, comprehensive information on so many different topics is mind blowing. I love cod and I watched this entire video, keep it up 👏
Your pronunciation of cordis die was worth the remaster alone
one of the best icebergs ive seen you took the time to show almost everything you were talking about
I really hope microsoft delivers in that activision acquisition, and gives us that cod zombies standalone game with classic round based gameplay and maybe a little open world thing to get between maps that also has story stuff to give incentive not to just use menus
This honestly sounds too good to happen lol. But if it does I'll finally buy a cod game again.
Still remember how the original video and seeing how your videos grew holyshit it's gotten so entertaining. Congrats on this remaster PigPen
16:56 this reminds me of the place where you killed Makarov, when you jumped on the helicopter.
Btw nice video, it was great to watch
This is a really well made Iceberg, i like the fact that you say your opinions of the fact rather than just saying stuff
Don't know if anyone knows or will see this comment, but with hacks on WaW, at least on PS3, there's a weapon called "Default" where your character makes a gun with his thumb and pointing and middle finger and actually shoots.
Yessir! Back in 2009 I had a friend who had a “ISO” version of waw and was able to mod player models and give weapons like the default gun lol
Ok
Love to see that description, not enough people on this site feel "obliged" to put sources or easy links.
2:01:21 the Dome example I feel like is just the Red Army soldiers outside of the bounds of the multiplayer map; especially since the map is taking place in the Reichstag which was being sieged just about everywhere
Yeah it is you're right. "Ura" was/is a famous war cry amongst Soviet/Russian troops hence why you hear it for those of you who don't know. You can hear it multiple times in-game iirc.
Yo 15 seconds in and I just wanna say that wendigoon comment is a stamp of approval. Seeing that you uploaded right when it's time to relax is just 👌 I'll be back in two hours to say how ePic this video was
Yo Pigpen, the Highway of Death wasn't a war crime, there is no provision for retreating armies, but yes infinity ward rewriting it is an eyebrow raiser
Old Woods you lovable SOB knees shot but that doesn’t stop a dance fool like you
Fantastic video loved both icebergs about this
im so glad you remastered this, its finally watchable
1:48:41 - Both the uplink skins were actually implemented into CoD Mobile as the stock skins for the operators. Although, they do have different patterns and colors to expand the variety of styles.
The audio at 1:30:00 is chilling and that would have been something else if it was in the game
What audio?
@@diesemautokerl2181 it starts at 1:31:05
Great Video! Being that it's been 2 months you might not see this, but I'd like to point out 1:51:06. The "Black Hawk Down Entry" could also refer to the MW3 Map "Bakaara" which takes place in Somalia and features a crash black hawk in the middle
When Call of duty mobile’s “plot” was brought up I lost it.
Bojack Horseman is in COD!? BEST ICEBERG EVER. Insta like.
Honesty I think it adds realism because he and 50 Cent do sound very normal
@@nickrustyson8124 he does sound like a regular dude tbh

In Call of Duty, Big Red One, a large portion of the campaign is actually on the Italian front.
The game also serves as one of the only appearances in video games of Vichy French soldiers as an enemy, at the start of the African campaign.
Can we get a Big Red One remake? Favorite from my childhood.
Dude those mountain dew ads were like some sleeper agent shit for me. Suddenly I remember ALL of them the second i saw the first few seconds of the first you showed
Man I watched the original seeing hd footage and a good mic just shows how far you've gone in only a year
If the iceberg still includes the Highway of Death in the list, take in mind that the real Highway of Death still exist in the lore, possibly how Barkov learned and copied the American's tactic during his rule of Urzikstan.
Honestly the idea of an Iranian embassy siege type mission in CoD4 sounds so fucking awesome
Remastered vid but still pronounces “promenade” incorrectly
Still enjoying it tho
At 1:31:05 I like to believe that the voice actor put his heart and soul into it only for it to not be in the game
Frost not being in that mine mission with the rest of the squad hurts. Gator literally uses a model that could feasibly represent Frost, based on his look in those front facing images
On scrapped maps from Modern Warfare 2019, Invasion from Modern Warfare 2 is actually visable in game right next to the map Euphrates Bridge
Easiest way to see it is to go into Spectator Mode for the map and get up high and look straight down
Edit: The way the Vodianoy ship made it to 2021 after dissapearin off the coast of Rebirth Island with a shipment of Nova 6 is because it most likely went through a portal (Or somethin like that) to the Dark Aether only to come back from the Dark Aether 37 years later infested with Nazi Zombies off the coast of Rebirth Island and sail on through to Verdansk and crash land on the beach not fair from the Gulag releasin all the Zombies and Nova 6 leadin to the destruction of Verdansk via Nuke to cover it up
Sounds like a nod to the Philadelphia experiment NGL...
"Babe wake up, new Pigpen just dropped."
This was a VERY well done video! I’m sure a ton of time went into this. Great job!
That is by far the strangest way of pronouncing "promenade" I think I've ever heard... Still, great video dude!
Fantastic video, well done 👌
You were indeed correct with the MW2 Contingency sub theory, there is a video where someone restored the original submarine section
Also, Kristina had Weavers role in very early BO1 campaign, before being replaced by him and reused as his lore niece
From WAW ghosts section you missed the ghosts from Der Riese in the courtyard by power... those FREAKED me out
Hearing some of the cut content is actually heartbreaking
2:22:06 kitsune is actually based on Majima from the Ryu ga gotoku series, because of the eyepatch and the tattoo
Just got out of a 4 hour lecture. Best thing to come home to :)
Watches the entire video whilst playing some cold war zombies...good shit my guy was interested in it fully.
I am from the CoD wiki and I see you've used the images I cropped from MWR and uploaded to the CoD wiki for the cut M14 and AK74u in MW2, glad to see my work getting external use
you guys do a great job over on the CoD wiki. Tons of props to you all
Rad video, Pigpen! Can’t wait for the next one
Over 2 hour long video about a call of duty iceberg?? I’m in!!
price being other prices grandfather was a joke mentioned by a dev in the cod4 documentary. believe it was a place holder that just stuck around cause they liked it.
Thank you Tomoko Kuroki
Never played call of duty in my life yet i woke up an hour into this then proceeded to watch the rest
Call of Duty maybe be a shell of its former self(MW 2019 is the exception), but iceberg videos are still awesome
Mw has been broken for a month, that game was garb. Infinite warfare was better
@@ididntaskverified3663 🤡
I agree Irish.. 2019 brought back fast ttk, asymmetrical maps, and reinvented create a class with gunsmith. Let's not even get into the amazing graphical detail that game had. All it needed was ghosts perk system
Jesus those cut MW2 massacre coms are bone chilling. Physically choked up
Damn, the old cods had the most detail and were the most well made

William Afton: Allow me to introduce myself....
12:22 there’s also a mk14 version of the m21-ebr, hidden in the mw2 oil rig mission
Awesome job on this one . I subscribed!!
1:44:20 on the very last mission of Ghosts on the beach you can see Logan's face if you look directly to the right (might be left) and if I remember correctly they just use Hesh's face as Logan's
This is the type of dude i wish i had on my friends list on cod to chat with while we play
I was the Reddit user who posted the Black Ops 4 campaign stuff from just over a year ago. I have a full video on my channel called “The Secrets of Black Ops 4” where I cover anything and everything pre-release about the game if you or anyone is interested :)

I throw this on just about every night to help me sleep, in a good way. Very good video, I’ve watched it in it’s entirety awake too lmao
1:32:07 is actually pretty chilling, I mean it’s a murder and having civilians being used at spillers is definitely a valiant last stand and their not even real and you can hear pain and although I can’t say I felt that I feel the pain
For the Contingency Sub Interior part, it was originally planned to board the sub, do some breaches and then launch the missile with Captain Price. For one reason or another, the part was scrapped for unknown reasons, and later the entire section was used for a mission in MW3.
Bro I fell asleep watching this on full blast and got woken up at 3am to 2:17:58
It scared the shit out of me😂
I was half asleep and heard that and looked the screen and nearly had a heart attack😭😭
