- Super excited about the new version of Cinema 4D 2024! Lot´s of cool new stuff we need to talk about, but let´s just start with the new capabilities for rigid body simulations.
Finally rigid bodies are part of the unified simulation system, so you can combine rigid objects easily with ropes, cloth, balloon and softbodies. Isn´t that great?
On top, your rigid body simulation can now interact with pyro, which opens up so much cool possibilities.

simply my favorite hdri! Maxime Roz is the best!
Great tutorial and ideas, thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you🔥
Thank you!

Nice tutorial! Your content is always a visual treat! I am curious to know what system configuration you have? like cpu, gpu, ram and other geek stuff :)
Grandios!
🔥
Please step by atep will be great Sir! Thanks for everything you do, great work!
Nice tutorial, thanks for it! One question, if you have an animated object as a rigid body, in the only system you could use the individual elements dropdown for top level, second level, etc. I couldn't find it in this one. Are you talking about that in any of your tutorials?
Sorry, I didn't fully understand what you mean...
That should operate even faster in the viewport with the latest Cinema 4d update a few days ago. Supposedly they sped up dynamics again. I'm overjoyed by the speed improvements in 2024...it's all I ever wanted Maxon to work on and they finally did it.
Same here buddy! I just love this speed in C4D nowadays.
Hello This is really nice! Can you please check if the new rigid body system works with scaling. I tried to scale two objects to collide them, but they don't behave correctly... Thank you !!!
Shape changes are not yet supported by the new rigid body.
Hi, I'm interested in becoming a member of your Patreon. Are your tutorials based on Octane?
I switched to redshift like 6 months ago
So before that it was octane, but now redshift
Do you know how I could use the field force to attract objects to a spline, let’s say a circle, without the objects overshooting and sticking to the circle.
You can use a friction force masked by the same spline with a spline field. If the velocities aren't too high this can work.
