Sea was absolutely boiling with mackerel at langney point on thursday, hundreds coming in! Also nice to see more of the fishing process (baiting, casting etc.) in your vids lately, its nice as someone whose only been fishing for a couple years to get reassurance that I'm doing the right things or to learn new tips!

Thurs and fri were very good days and i had alot of fun on both
Im not a fan of the weekend fishing due to it been so busy however i did fish sat morn in pev bay with no luck and again in the eve fort fun with no luck also.
I do need to fill my bait freezer so ill be at it again no doubt lol
Enjoyable video. Shame the fish didn't want to play but, as they say, it's called "fishing" not "catching fish". Hopefully improved catch next time. Cheers. Ken
Hi Jason. Looks like a Pelt. There numbers seemed to have dropped off a lot in recent years. There used to be a lot around in the summer months on the sussex coast but not do much now
Yeah i did think it was a pout just never seen them with the black bands always been full bodied silver
I've had them with bands, seem to be a feature when fishing rough ground@@TheEastbourneFisherman

Well you didn't do yourself any favours lighting up the whole beach while fishing close in on a shallow beach with clear water!
fishing with FS need barely any lighting and use a tip light or light shining up rod and best is fish left and right of positions so baits in dark waters.
Thanks for the advice ill apply it on the next low water session
