That's defo a blonde Ray. The way to tell is the spots on ablonde go right to the edge where the spots on a spotted stop a few inches short. I remember this by thinking that 'blondes go all the way' 😂 tight lines

very cool. question answered! am in Bolivar Peninsula USA and today for some reason I noticed for the first time ever loads and loads of hermit crabs as I hiked down the Galveston North Jetty to my fishin’ spot. And I wondered because had I used them all I had to do was go pick up like ten or twenty hermit right there in front of me. haha. But yah in our region of Texas we have many species but two in particular that are highly known to love crab as bait. But most people use fiddler or blue crab. And the two species are black drum and sheepshead. What y’all catch with them in England? So cool I am definitely going to try and use them now! Sheepshead prefer rocky structure all along our jetties, and the “black drum run” has been on fire this year in our region of the Gulf Coast. As we anglers like to tell each other out here, and I dunno if they say it elsewhere, but tight lines to you! and thanks for this tutorial!

Hi i have a question. Fishing from the beach is it better to have weighted lures or weightless lures that float? Do i add any of that spray on scent stuff onto the lures? I never catch anything 😂

Try using a 1/4 or 1/2 oz. Swim bait instead of sinker, you'll be pleasantly surprised 😊

Try the Beach dead behind the Leisure Pool. There's supposed to be a huge mussel bed out there. Anyway me and my mate fished there and caught 2 big Smooth Hounds and we weren't even trying for them. Couple of years ago now but it's a banging groin for Place and anything really. It's worth a look. 😊😊

Have gone over to using these after using gemini clips for years. Have had a few less snagged and lost rigs recently and dont seem to have as much weed build up around them.

Varivas Big Mouth hooks. Smaller sizes for multi hook rigs, and 4/0 for bigger baits on a pulley pennel. Have also experimented with dongle rigs with Mustad Tuna circles, which in the smaller sizes have worked brilliant with worm baits for flounders and sole👍

Your get them next time 😃 I had a couple of blanks after the hounds down eastbourne lately, yet to catch one bigger than a pup this year. Gonna have a change of scenery and go down Chesil after them next week. I noticed there's much more snaggy areas at Eastbourne now (prob lost tackle) seems to be overfished in my opinion . Where as dungeness used to be a tackle graveyard but now hardly ever get snagged down there.

Enjoyed video ..Can i ask although well may sound silly Q/ What are screw in things u use on lures which u put through nose of shad / lure which scews into nose as see this shall aid in keeping the hook in place . What is name of part tht screws into nose ? as ive some lure/shads and some similar but in need of what u were using when inserting screw in part into nose .

try just opposite and a bit right to the car park pegs 13 14 etc. theres a big gully infront, not worthit sometimes to try on the end pegs nearest to the bay

For a rolling lead use a Gemini genie rig clip to hook the dongle hook under and connect your lead to that . Also put a couple or free knots in your dongle for the cotton to bite to so it don’t slip down on the cast of come off .
