Awesome again Jason, live prawn is the best bait 4 bass ( take the kids pawning ) float fish 4 garfish great fun on light gear .Happy catching from Australia Nick
If you're not in it you can't win it.....and you're certainly in it so it's just a matter of time before you win it! Good luck next time. Great video by the way. Cheers. Ken
The good old trusty Seeker. Great video. Unlucky on those garfish. They have hard mouths and sometimes hard to set the hook. I use singles on my seekers, Trebles on my Patchinko and sub surface hard lures and singles on all my soft plastics. I have been having some amazing sessions at my mark just east of you. The Savage Gear Weedless Sandeel V2 in white has been killing it. Best so far 6lb and 5lb with a fair few around 3-4lb mark. The 6lb i had was out on the reef at low water. I normally only fish 2 hours up and 2 -3 down. Would love to get together for a lure session before the end of the season :)
Very enjoyable video. Unlucky with the garfish fella. Just out of curiosity. What IB lines would you recommend to start out with. I'm a newbie here 👍 all the help would be most grateful
Thanks for your comment And welcome to lure fishing its very fun and super addictive :) I use a 20lb fireline as mainline with a short 2ft flurocarbon leader Hope this helps Happy to answer any other questions you may have I know it can be a minefield with different lures ect!
Hi Ian welcome :) I like to keep the fluro short at maby 1 - 2ft i like to keep the knot out of my tip eye so im only casting the braid Hope this helps
Don’t care what anyone says but I really think Brighton marina fishes realllllly shit, the rock pools off the east arm are better for bass with the surface lures etc
