I learned to drive in the yellow version of that 1966 Ford Mustang. I really loved that car. My sister then learned to drive in the same car and drove it into a creek. My Dad then sold it. I have been looking for another over the last few years.
My dad had the '66 in red, I learned to drive on that! It was actually a pretty good car to learn on, it hydroplaned a lot so you learned quickly not to take off fast or cut corners
That was fun, but it looks like it was picked over. The Keys are so beautiful. It's really nice to have a little bit of fame, but it seems l never get time off from being online. It's just a bit different, when l can't get any kind of private life. Other people's lives do affect my life for a very painful and long time. Please understand that l am not trying to hurt anyone, but someone else is getting thrills out of it. I though being recorded 24/7 was over. I guess it's not, and it is very toxic to everyone. Thank you again, George.
Indeed, I've been binge watching these videos because I feel like I'm shopping with him. Although I'm not interested in decorative items most of the time, I do like the history and seeing useful housewares too...😊
I absolutely can not stand when people put EBay print outs with their garage sale items. Also $30 for the bat cart and Fenton!? That turquoise Fenton bowl would probably pay for all that and then some. What a deal!
I know, right? That was luck! I hate the eBay printout thing...almost as much as the "I'm going to look it up on Google Lens when you ask a price and then tell you the most expensive one I can find"
I'm cracking up at the "Let's drive to the furthest sale and work our way back--or stop at the first sale we see." I, too, am completely incapable of passing a sale by.
Enjoyed you cousin in the video without taking over, Nice. Lovely items and loved seeing them even if you don’t buy them. The excellent information as always
I find the same shopping situations in central NY. Since the crash in 2012 and then covid estate and garage sales are the best in thirty years. Glass got a bad rap by ignorant dealers and it knocked out our competition lol. And any time of day just get to everyone of them sales Enjoy your channel. I do bottles glass pottery paper and have sold every catagory of antiques in 45 years.
Frame 27:11 You won my heart... Between the ( blue ) Mustang & that neat looking white house you were talking about, what a dream. Pretty to look at though.
I’m stopping at the baseballs to ask about a value. My son in law’s dad has a baseball signed by Frank Sinatra. He got it from Sinatra himself at a baseball game in California when he was a child. (Early 60’s) He also got a hotdog and a baseball cap from him. They were spectators at the game and were sitting right in front of the singer. (They both named Frank). Of course the ball is a family heirloom, displayed in a lucite holder. Just wondered what the intrinsic value might be. Celebrity signed but not by a player.
I saw something I’ve been looking for at the first table you showed. I’d really like to find a “pearl” necktie from the late 60’s. If you ever see another one, please pick it up for me and I’ll buy it from you!!! I trust your judgement on what’s a good price so you can make it worth your while.
New sub & I love your style! I'm on the West Coast & yes the 80s are back. My son is Gen z, lives in LA & everyone loves it including "grandpa clothes".
That pottery pitcher with green and brown you found and the bar cart👍 Love you had a cutout of Elvira! One day my teen sons came home from the liquor store with a life size cutout of the Saint Pauly girl, beer lady complete with cleavage 😄Always a fun adventure with you George ❤️🐩
Yep I need to get there next year !!! And cool the cousin collector of bottles !!! I could pick his knowledge. Wonder if he's on facebooks old bottles group ?
Always fun to shop with you and learn, that last estate sale looked good. I too hate seeing the eBay print outs or the oh this is listed for such a such :)
I grew up going to Treasure Island because my grandparents lived there until 1998. I really think you were at or near her apartment building in this video. Very cool. If you ever see paintings or other art by Louise Sutherland I would be very interested in them. She was an artist. I'm also looking for a bottle we sold after my mom died in 2008 down there. We sold it through an auction house in St. Pete across the causeway from Madeira Beach. About 15" tall, see through light blue glass with a boat on the front. I'm very jealous of the sales you attending. That is a great area to shop second hand. Great vid.
Oh how interesting! I'll look for Louise Sutherland, I feel like she's familiar to me here. The bottle sounds neat, it'd be a fluke but maybe I'll spot it! I'll think of you
What I find so ridiculously funny is when someone just has to point out how something is posted on 1st Dibs for say $2,000 and they're only asking like $50. (I'm slightly exaggerating) I just don't understand the strategy behind that. That was a great estate sale with that bar cart. How much was that Italian ceramic tray? If cheap, I definitely pick them up! I think I would have jumped all over that long black lacquer sideboard for $250. Longer the better and the legs were just in the right spot. 15:59 Looked like it possibly could have been a couple thousand-dollar piece right there.
Oh George! I was geeking out when i saw all the apothecary jars, near the end of the video. Love the white ones. They had so many colors. I know they aren't valuable, but I love to decorate with them. - Crystal Stephens
I had a great time riding around with you and seeing all the community sales..alot of wonderful treasures you picked up this day George!!! I think my favorite was the New Orleans import English transferware plate💙💙💙
What a fun day! I wish I could have been there with you ; I love those community yard and full estate sales. Doesn't happen so much in the cold weather states. 😕 but it was fun virtually shopping along with you, and thanks for your teaching along the way 😀
Where I live the black lacquer never really left; it smells like "money" to some folks. Saw some bits I'd have investigated and felt a fair bit of jealousy. It's SNOWING outside as I type.
Good evening, George! That was a great buy on the spatter ware pitcher. Those cruets make a nice group display. I really like those Victorian castor sets. It's really interesting to see actual antiques at yard sales. That "Iris" water set would've had to come with me. I have a set in the marigold, but the clear is older. That looked like a really fun day! Thanks for the take-along!!!
I was so happy to see real antiques at a Florida sale! It all is stuff that moved down with people who are gone now. I liked the cruets together too. The Iris set was SO crazy cheap! I hope someone gave it a good home.
Great video with lots of information!! Was that a train tray I saw at the 1st estate sale next to the big Asian bowl?? I loved the old Mustang but no love for the VW bus, lol!! Thank you! Great video as always!!
So fun to see all your awesome finds! (BTW - I now need to get a banana hanger for my disco ball! It’s actually genius and I cannot believe I have never thought of hanging anything other than bananas off of them until now 😮 😊)
What vexes me is all the competition and everyone vying for scores...is that greed?..or is the feeling normal for tag-salers.? Doesn't matter as I sit here at home during a snowstorm, but wait until spring;..I'll get that wild infection again. Does everyone get that shakey feeling? Not a hoarder,, but yes, an opportunist

Fun to meet your cousin!!
Those places were hoppen', fun time I bet ! 😊
Lots of conversations to listen into 😂 😂

Oh my goodness. This is the best-looking picture I've ever seen George. I feel like I'm right there with you.
Oh good! Since I can't take you all literally, this is a good alternative

Thank you Grorge for another great video!
Very nice items.
I'm cracking up at the "Let's drive to the furthest sale and work our way back--or stop at the first sale we see." I, too, am completely incapable of passing a sale by.
The pitcher is Morton pottery (woodland )… the company was very close to where I live .. I’ve collected that particular pattern for years
You’re are always determined 80s is coming back! 😂 😝
Enjoyed you cousin in the video without taking over, Nice. Lovely items and loved seeing them even if you don’t buy them. The excellent information as always
Thrilled the cll was able to find you

Hi George, your antique knowledge is AMAZING....☘️
What great yard sales. They are so fun never know what you will find. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Frame 27:11 You won my heart... Between the ( blue ) Mustang & that neat looking white house you were talking about, what a dream. Pretty to look at though.
Love going to the yard and estates sale so much fun
How fun I love to go estate/garage sales. I like to look and see what people like to collect and how they live too. Have a great day

Amazing estate and garage sale trip. Help the my mind off a snow storm outside.
I love the find hiding under flowers , it goes to show you need to look under stuff sometimes..x
Always fun to shop with you and learn, that last estate sale looked good. I too hate seeing the eBay print outs or the oh this is listed for such a such :)
Thanks! The estate sales were fun. Do people think we can't just look on eBay ourselves?
I'd love to cruise around and go shopping like this.
To think you 2 only went to a small fraction of sales is amazing.
Glad you both found somethings.
So much stuff! Come visit Florida around March

That was fun! Thanks for taking us along to see great treasures and beautiful houses!
Awesome George thank you
I so would have bought that domed chest!
Where I live the black lacquer never really left; it smells like "money" to some folks. Saw some bits I'd have investigated and felt a fair bit of jealousy. It's SNOWING outside as I type.
So jealous! Picking season is still a ways off in Alaska, but I can't really complain, selling a lot of nice items on consignment right now.
Good evening, George! That was a great buy on the spatter ware pitcher. Those cruets make a nice group display. I really like those Victorian castor sets. Great Sales🎉
That was fun to watch. Learned a lot and enjoyed see all the stuff
Great video 😊
Here's a Little and there's a Little.😂
When you said something about paying online price, and why wouldn't they just go to the internet? You save a lot of $$ by not paying shipping!
Great video with lots of information!! Was that a train tray I saw at the 1st estate sale next to the big Asian bowl?? I loved the old Mustang but no love for the VW bus, lol!! Thank you! Great video as always!!
Great finds!
So fun to see all your awesome finds! (BTW - I now need to get a banana hanger for my disco ball! It’s actually genius and I cannot believe I have never thought of hanging anything other than bananas off of them until now 😮 😊)
