The mugs would be great with a packet of Land O Lakes cocoa, a candy cane and filled with marshmallows in cellophane with a bow. Great gift for a hair dresser, manicurist etc. You could even tuck in a money gift or gift card.
Want to give you a tip about restaurant ware. Get in touch with some table top companies. There are several in Maryland. They have tons in storage and often want to clear out.. Their samples...full sets. They are often free. Love your show. You are so hardworking.
I loved the baby in a boot… also would be curious to see what the coins were maybe old change? I used to put souvenir coins in my banks as we always did the flattened pennies when we traveled.😂
I'd definitely get some plastic dishes for an Airbnb. People have children and older people can't always deal with the weight of restaurant ware dishes. I'm only fifty and I have problems with my grip. I've dropped and broken some things from my late mother in law. I was heartbroken.
You mentioned your daughter loving mini pickles. My son who is now 28, was her age when he couldn't get enough pickles and now he won't touch a pickle. It used to be so cute going to restaurants and asking for extra pickles if they gave it as a garnish.
I've had good luck three times with banks that had change in them - more money inside than what I paid! plus that shoe with the baby was so funny - huge stinky (in my imagination) boot is a wild place to take a nap!
Jocelyn, that pretty glass jar that you showed from IKEA would look great with ‘snow’ in the bottom and a bottle brush inside! Love the Goodwill videos❤️
So fun! Watching your videos is a nice way to wind down the day. I don't read the comments usually, so maybe people have already asked: What about adding a total estimated value range in addition to the total spend? Maybe that's too much work. I don't know if I'd feel like doing it 😂 Sent you an fb message with some (hopefully) encouraging stories about how you've encouraged my family. Thanks again.
When I saw those bottlebrush trees, it reminds me of the ones that I have from my childhood; I’m talking like 65 years ago. I take them out at Christmas and put them on the counters.
Love it when all the Christmas comes out and it’s snowing, cosy. I loved the baby in shoe money box 😊 I really hope a child gets it as a present with money intact. 🎉
😊❤omg my dad worked for allie chemicl in chicago. I had a different set in white and red check. I had in my apt and my house when i first got married. I think they stiill live in our camp on the lake. Im divorced so im not sure. Wow that brought back memories
Jocelyn,l hope I'm not too late.. What l have found with mismatched is it looks better if you have a theme, like a colour scheme A nice idea,l think is if you,for instance have 4 plates in blue,4 in white and 4 in blue and white It sort of pulls the whole look together
I remember those commercials too, I grew up in Columbia County but visited Lake George often. Always went to "StoryTown" For some reason I remember GasLight Village being open in the evening only ???
Those plates (ally chemical) is a plant in Philadelphia I would have left them behind to because my husband worked in there as a outside contractor & some of the chemicals they produce are cancer causing agents
The wooden Christmas tree is adorable. Gaslight village reminds me of one of my ex's.😂 Seagrove NC and the surrounding area is home to some very talented potters. If you ever make it to NC it's worth checking out if you love pottery.
Regarding your restaurant eear in the Air BNB, if someone likes a mug or something, can the to a trade? Or purchase it? Just a thought that crossed my mind. Great video as always.
It seems like in your videos before when you were not looking for a restaurant ware , it was everywhere now, it’s like not there anymore. People know you’re looking for it ,so they’re getting it. That’s my thinking….😆
Haha so true! She needs to say that she has enough and doesn’t need anymore and it will show up by the tons. I have a whole box of it as I just swapped my dishes out but it would cost way to much to ship to CLL as I could barely lift the box and I am a horse girl so you know how heavy it must be 😂😂
Oh baby girl. $3.99 for th bottle brush tree? I bot th same thing last yr @ $$ tree for $1.25. They probably hav them again this yr. But, as long as you like it. And, yes, it's people of your ilk that have driven up Goodwill prices. I never thot I wouldn't b able to afford Goodwill, but at 76, th prices are too hi. However, being a boomer, I hav plenty of "mid century" stuff. Th sad thing is nobody in MY family want them. Happy Holidays.
@@anthdz83 Maybe but the whole point to thrifting is to use what is already there so we don't add to the landfill. No need to overconsume when we don't have to.
@@rikkemeek1506 that's not everyone's point of thrifting. It's just a happy side effect. Some people thrift because they would like to buy things at a discount.
I think we all struggle. The lighting in the stores isn’t the greatest. We can see it better with the camera than you can in the store but we all know she is supposed to wear her glasses 😜

This is such a great idea!
Metal mugs sound romantic...but they get so hot they are hard to hold and it's guaranteed to burn your tongue! Love a camper
I hope you will do a video of your house decorated for Christmas

The mixing bowls are depression glass. It's amazing to think of the family meals made in them for nearly 100 years. 😊
Iridescent depression glass is one of my favorite items to find; they are so pretty!
That red ware disc may be one of those thingys you warm in the oven and then slip it in your bread basket to keep your buns warm, lol

The past few years around the holidays I will load up a vintage relish tray and gift it to the hostess afterward.
What a super idea!

That would be awesome 😊
I definitely thought you’d get the bowls for the Airbnb! Many guests will cook their own food and the yellow would match the kitchen!
Oh no! Snow! You can keep all that white stuff!
And the black ice too!
You were right. Walnut basket is worth $$$
🎉🎉🎉🎉 late night Thrifting love it
I received a bank my pawpaw had made after he passed. It had buffalo nickels from the 1930s in it and some other old coins.
Lovin' the bottlebrush trees and vintage greenery. ❤

Gaslight Village was a tourist attraction in Lake George back in the 70s-80s. I remember their commercials. “Gaslight Village - Yesterday’s fun today”
I remember those commercials too, I grew up in Columbia County but visited Lake George often. Always went to "StoryTown" For some reason I remember GasLight Village being open in the evening only ???
If you have a working kitchen in your new place those bowls would be perfect for salads or making pancakes
Hot cocoa in those metal mugs will burn your lips. I learned the hard way
Yes and also very hot on the handle.. I got some LL Bean ones for the grandkids for camping ..could never use them for cocoa but used for water
Those bowls were Portmerion. They make the Botanic Garden design in melamine as well.
What great finds. Love the tray and the two bowls were beautiful. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
I knew those mixing bowls were Federal Glass. They also came in cobalt blue. Love those light-up bottlebrush trees!
Those pepper mill the artist name is Rob Wilhelm
2:04 I got excited, I thought it was Twink, from Rainbow Brite 😊
Gosh I wish we had Good Wills like you have in Pennsylvania! I don’t even bother any more. Things are priced at retail and above.
Hello, what about for the rental on those few Fiesta cups you like? Thank you for always teaching me! Appreciate you!

Good trip, i was expecting pt.2 of the antique/ glass show.
So many pretty items today! Thank you for taking me with you!
I can just see Laurel sitting down eating a whole jar of pickles 😂
Hi Jocelyn, That mini Italian sugar and creamer is adorable! Thanks for sharing
Hi Jocelyn, we still have warm weather here in deep south Texas 😊
Oh nice! I’m in far west Texas and still warm, temperature might drop for thanksgiving.
I loved the baby in the shoe bank!!
But, you found a lot of interesting things!!!
I love those 2 frosted glasses with the gold-and that little Italy made set
Good choice on crystal pickle tray 👍🏼
You have the longest life line on ur palm, I have ever seen. Looks like ur going to live past a hundred. Good for you.
The enamel mugs are sold with mulled wine content at Christmas markets all over Europe and America.
I thought the first "pickle tray" was better😊
How could you overlook the bumpits!😂😂
I was so hoping for an explanation
I love my bump it’s. Right now I don’t know where they are and I need them desperately. I’ll definitely find them if I stare searching.
I like the pickle dish you chose best. Very pretty!

You picked the right pickle dish!
Snow! Here in Southern Arkansas it’s just a bit cool, still wearing shorts, lol.
Great finds❤

I think I would have gotten the fiesta tea cup
I would have picked up the old shoe Bank with coins... It's vintage and those coins would be worth more than a quarter as a quarter
I have a cup and saucer made of nut shells like that.
Have you checked the restaurant-ware for lead?

Curious why you didn't buy both relish trays. Keep one and sell the other? Love your videos! Happy Thanksgiving!
I travel to Lake George now and again
Wow snow ⛄️
The 3-part relish trays look like they might be Fostoria Baroque with etched designs added.
I was curious about the Morton Salt trivets that were on the shelf. They were very cute.
I have my phone propped up and my kitten 🐈⬛ keeps smacking the screen 😂
I have green bowls like the yellow ones. They glow. Curious if the yellow will.
Cool finds today!!!!
I love those candles
Live your videos. Soothing voice and always learning with you although I am a 70 year old grandma !
Your kids are adorable 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
You know single plates you could still put them in your Airbnb!
Love your videos
It's funny how I'm always, Oh, wait! Go bank to that one!

Hi Joselyn ❤
Pretty glass dishes
Hello from Mexico 👋
If you go to the dollar tree store you can get those light up bottle brush trees for $1.25 and they even have them at Easter.
No need to go to dollar tree and buy new when you can buy them at goodwill.
They are more expensive at Goodwill 😅

Time for some glasses possibly? Just a suggestion you struggle to see the markings.
She has glasses. 😊 doesn’t wear them much.
