I loved the baby in a boot… also would be curious to see what the coins were maybe old change? I used to put souvenir coins in my banks as we always did the flattened pennies when we traveled.😂
The mugs would be great with a packet of Land O Lakes cocoa, a candy cane and filled with marshmallows in cellophane with a bow. Great gift for a hair dresser, manicurist etc. You could even tuck in a money gift or gift card.

You mentioned your daughter loving mini pickles. My son who is now 28, was her age when he couldn't get enough pickles and now he won't touch a pickle. It used to be so cute going to restaurants and asking for extra pickles if they gave it as a garnish.

I'd definitely get some plastic dishes for an Airbnb. People have children and older people can't always deal with the weight of restaurant ware dishes. I'm only fifty and I have problems with my grip. I've dropped and broken some things from my late mother in law. I was heartbroken.

Those plates (ally chemical) is a plant in Philadelphia I would have left them behind to because my husband worked in there as a outside contractor & some of the chemicals they produce are cancer causing agents
The wooden Christmas tree is adorable. Gaslight village reminds me of one of my ex's.😂 Seagrove NC and the surrounding area is home to some very talented potters. If you ever make it to NC it's worth checking out if you love pottery.

Haha so true! She needs to say that she has enough and doesn’t need anymore and it will show up by the tons. I have a whole box of it as I just swapped my dishes out but it would cost way to much to ship to CLL as I could barely lift the box and I am a horse girl so you know how heavy it must be 😂😂

And, yes, it's people of your ilk that have driven up Goodwill prices. I never thot I wouldn't b able to afford Goodwill, but at 76, th prices are too hi. However, being a boomer, I hav plenty of "mid century" stuff. Th sad thing is nobody in MY family want them. Happy Holidays.
I think we all struggle. The lighting in the stores isn’t the greatest. We can see it better with the camera than you can in the store but we all know she is supposed to wear her glasses 😜

The mixing bowls are depression glass. It's amazing to think of the family meals made in them for nearly 100 years. 😊

If you go to the dollar tree store you can get those light up bottle brush trees for $1.25 and they even have them at Easter.
No need to go to dollar tree and buy new when you can buy them at goodwill.
