Seems like the extra 2 inches of the 37 makes a significant difference on this trail, but hard to give a fair comparison with the 37 driver trying to go mach 1 on it :P
Agreed. Driver of the 37” truck is substantially more aggressive with much more momentum and confidence…makes the comparison tough to truly evaluate. That said, both trucks did well and of course 37s help.
You only get 1 extra inch of ground clearance (radius vs diameter)
Robertneville777 one extra inch on the clearance might be correct. But the 2 extra in the pants is really what counts
3:30 slightly passenger so that you will hit the rock slightly 🤦♂️
I would think the 37 would be better for trail and the 35 is better for high speed off road I am receiving mine in two weeks 35 package loaded
I ordered a 35” package as well. This will be my 5th Raptor.
Knowing how deceptive videos are for off roading, this was some really good action. These trucks are very capable. I’d love to take my F250 Tremor on 35’s here to compare. These Raptors are WIDE.
We have a group on FB called Northeast 4x4 Off Road Club. If your ever in the area your welcome to join us.
Those "37's" actually measure out to about 35" mounted where most companies 37" tire is 36" mounted. BFG's always do this.
Guy with 37’s could’ve avoided a lot of roughness if he’d slow down a bit
yeah they could've just taken the highway wtf
I do this in my old Expedition on 33s as well. Sure, I could go slow, test the terrain. But why? I rarely enjoy that. Seeing how far I can push myself and my rig, that I enjoy. Pulling trees with steel cables, bottoming out bumpers, axles or frame, recovering by skill, with winch or kinetic strap, that I enjoy.
Which one is better for dropping the kids off at baseball practice? Grocery store visits?
😂😂
Has anyone ever brought a 90's Toyota Hilux around?
I think the red raptor has front leveling so it’s got better approach angle. Seems like it has better ground clearance.
This is a REAL MAN's off road channel.
It is?
@@PepeDeezNutz Excuse me. I meant disabled trans woman of color*.
Should have locked the rear…
Simply beautiful
the same, no obvious difference.
Driving on trails like this seems like it would be more stressful, than fun.
Very cool. The Raptor 37 is impressive for a factory stock vehicle. Would be interesting to compare it to a Power Wagon on this trail.
Power wagon comes on 33’s, it’s definitely not going the same paces as a Raptor on 37’s.
@@grisa12345 I'd be interested to see how the suspensions compare... solid axle vs independent.
@@bakfixx Good point. I think the long wheelbases somewhat negate the usual advantages of a solid front axle. I’d be interested to see RTI scores between the two.
@@grisa12345 exactly. Would be interesting to have the Power Wagon follow the Raptor on this trail too. Real World testing to illustrate the engineering of each vehicle.
@@grisa12345 : Did you ever find the RTI score for a Power Wagon?
Bring in titan drivers. Just bought my titan.
People need to remember to use 4low
Both them are so beutiful trucks
Nice!! Definitely has some difference but the major one was the driver!!! For sure any way Awesome trucks!!!!!!
very cool i like this taptor
Pretty darn cool. I’m getting one for my outfitter business, looks like it can handle most anything I’d come across. It is pretty wide though, I’m sure pin stripping will be a pretty standard thing on the narrow parts of an older clear cut.
How does it feel on the road? Good manners?
Also, what about the 2023 Raptor R 37, overkill?
what outfitter business requires a raptor?
@@stevenrussell5937 mine.
Basically 0 difference. Also none of that needed all that spotting.
Do they do any modifications to fit the 37's? I heard they rub really bad on the Gen2's and I don't see much of a difference with the Gen3. Does it rub a lot?
Gen3s are designed to fit 37s, gen2s are not
not really a fair video. The 35 driver is clearly not as competent
Pretty cool, but a high speed run is
The best way to compare them
Id like to see how they handle in high speed handling on road. Since I never see any of these with dirt on them where I live.
Love the fact they are using it to its full potential pretty close to Aussie offroading.
I love how a spotter was needed for this 🤭
Trail 11 Rausch Creek?
Yes love that trail
@@4x4OffRoadChannel one of my faves too. Really tests articulation.
all the flex coming from rear axle lol
Good channel!! Greetings
That spotter is annoying AF
I do agree the spotter is annoying, most have no clue of what they are doing either.
I thought I was the only one thinking this.
Hahahaha fuckin A
