I like #3 the best. It looks like a clean seamless transition from the hair from the model’s head to the extension hair. It looks the most natural to me. All the others look like the braid abruptly changes thickness and the point where it’s attached looks like a weak point in a wire that can snap or collect product, lint, or dust like a little shelf. That’s of course relative to how long they are worn. I can probably benefit from #4 from your description of how it functions in some instances but I personally prefer the look of #3. Great explanations and demonstration. ❤
OG braider here 💪🏾 I’ve always preferred #3 for clients that choose knotless bc it looks most natural, and yes you absolutely can tuck with #3. I use a modified version of #4 on myself bc it’s easier.
Saving this video to perfect 2 and 4. You are definitely the OG because you can braid to anybody’s preference and I pray to become on your level. I mainly do my step daughter and nieces hair which is why I would love to perfect 2 and 3.
I always braid my own hair so the 4th style is the easiest, also still have edges but they're sensitive so 4 definitely works great. I'm gonna try to learn 3 also, it looks very neat and clean. Thick is my least favorite
Every technique’s sharp. I prefer 2 & 4. The thin start of the box braid is priceless. 3 was when I haven’t heard of tucking rather than bleaching. 1 could be good for those jumbo box braids I won’t be able to do on my hair but eyeball the width so it’s only an expanding shape for so long.
#4 was my favorite it held the hisr do nicely, I've been struggling with knowing thr rifjt portion kf braid to jse for knotless, this video helped tremendously. Thank you
Hey there. You see I'm with you on the 4th braid. I. An OG braider myself and I continue to use this technique 30yrs in and I still love it. Thanks for sharing ❤.
Loving your channel so much! I've been taking my daughter to get her knotless braids done at a couple different salons over the years and the last time I did she broke out in a terrible rash that scabbed up and then lost hair. This was around a year and a half ago. So I'm about to do knotless on her for the second time and wanted to see what type would be best. She has a lot of fine curls/coils and I'm thinking #4 is what I'm going to do today.
Simply beautiful. Abd Thank you for tutorial. I have fine hair around my perimeter and a dew bald spots. I really have a hard time with braiding. Helped me out big time
I like how you closed off the ending of the braids, I wished I saw this before I went to get my braids because they were top heavy at first. When my hair is also thick and it’s almost shoulder length so I didn’t need a lot of hair added. Question also should your hair be blown dried before you put box braids in?
A lot of people do say that. I braid my own and I never blow dry it. It’s super thick and curly. Maybe I should blow dry it tho. Maybe the parting will Go faster
I like 3 and 4 best my braider did #4 on me when I asked and as she was braiding I told her it's not the traditional knot less but she told me my hair was a bit damaged but when it was done it was gorgeous so I didn't complain and it didn't feel heavy.
I have short hair and tried several times to do knotless but I have been unsuccessful. So I have to default to traditional braids. Please advise how I can do knotless on short hair?
I’ve been doing boneless out of laziness, avoiding heavy braids and not wanting to run out of hair. I’ll stop because that’s not really the look I want. Thanks for sharing
I thought you'd include the crotchet knotless braids and the one where you insert the fibre in between your natural hair and lock it in by braiding your natural hair over it and insert the added fibre as you go. Apparently it works great for kids. Nevertheless I loved the video as always.

All of this!
Exactly
I agree
OG braider here 💪🏾

Mrs. Vandy, your selfless service through your braiding school has helped me improve my braiding skills. Thank you so much. I appreciate you!
Great explanation! I prefer #3, it’s the most natural looking and appears to put less stress on the hair.
Saving this video to perfect 2 and 4. You are definitely the OG because you can braid to anybody’s preference and I pray to become on your level. I mainly do my step daughter and nieces hair which is why I would love to perfect 2 and 3.
I like 3 and 4. The first 2 look like they are hanging on by a thread. Thank you for showing number 4 though. I've never seen it but it looks great!
Yooo sis, that second method almost took my hair out, I was like never again
4 makes more sense for me because my waves pop back up as soon as I sweat or get near water
I like 3 and 4. I’m still trying to learn how to do knotless braids but those to seem more doable and more natural. Thanks for the video.
Me too
I always braid my own hair so the 4th style is the easiest, also still have edges but they're sensitive so 4 definitely works great. I'm gonna try to learn 3 also, it looks very neat and clean. Thick is my least favorite
Thank u so much for this video, braiders here in nyc just grab hair and feed it in they never properly separate the hair. And I spend so much money.

Thank you ...Best how to Knotless video for me ❤ I love the 2nd & 4th technique.
OG braider!
And an ol’ skool, Poetic Justice style, box braid rocker.
Great video! It was clear and to the point.
#4 was my favorite it held the hisr do nicely, I've been struggling with knowing thr rifjt portion kf braid to jse for knotless, this video helped tremendously. Thank you

Thanks for sharing ❤.
I love using number 2 for my clients and I'm seeing number 4 for the first time, it makes so much sense
As a diy girlie you are a Godsend THANK YOU!! The fourth version is going to be my go to now with my fine hair!
Thank you 😊 for sharing! I like #3 for myself, but I can't knotless braid for nothing. I'm going to practice doing #4 to help me with that.
🦾🦾🦾🦾The second and the third is good for those who are hair weight sensitive.
Im an OG braider, thank you so much for these different braids
I use 2 and 4 when braiding. I prefer 4 on my hair because they stay neat longer and last longer

I’m loving the boneless braid #3 lol. It looks the most natural for her hair density.
I like 3 and 4 Thanks
What color hair are you using
2 and although I've never seen 4 but I will try it next time.
I braid my own, I use # 3, while having very thick curly hair. It’s my favorite. But # 4 is what I use to do the back. Since that’s the hardest for me
I love box braids and I like the knotless. I love the tutorial!!!
I thought i liked 3, but 4 turned out to be my preference.
Can u try braiding with Brazilian wool?
I prefer the 4th method for my short hair. It looks easy.
Thanks for the tips! I'm an Og Braider in my hair and girls 😆
Perfect video, thank you. I’m always looking for ways to improve!!!
Great video. For me and my hair density, I think 4 is the best but 3 may work if I practice.
Exactly same here
Can u post up some with over hand please thanks
Simply beautiful. Abd Thank you for tutorial. I have fine hair around my perimeter and a dew bald spots. I really have a hard time with braiding. Helped me out big time
2 and 4 are my styles. Thanks for sharing!
I think I like the boneless braids and the graduated box braids.
Awesome video truly helpful!!
The best demonstration 🎉🎉🎉
4 is the one that I am familiar with
Can you please do a separate video tutorial for the graduated box braids
What color hair did you use?
How do you ask a braider what method they use
I love this video. I will definitely be trying this method 4 next time I do my hair.
Also new sub 🥰
B and D. Lovely.😊

Very informative video, as usual. Thanks for sharing
My hair is fine and always comes out like braid #3
I like 3 and 4 best my braider did #4 on me when I asked and as she was braiding I told her it's not the traditional knot less but she told me my hair was a bit damaged but when it was done it was gorgeous so I didn't complain and it didn't feel heavy.

#3 is my fave.
Thank you so much for this video
Second braid is the best
This is great.❤
Thank you this helps a lot
I love your nails
Great video
What state is your shop located in?
Excellent video!
The third one seems the easiest if you're braiding your own hair
Actually it's hard for me, I need the 4th method
I’ve been doing boneless out of laziness, avoiding heavy braids and not wanting to run out of hair. I’ll stop because that’s not really the look I want. Thanks for sharing
#3 all day

Number 4 all day. It's the only one I can do, and it's great for my fine strands. 😊
O.G
They last longer than knotless in my opinion and the way hair is set up the frizz be too real with knotless
