The best tutorials out right now! Did some on my 13yr old and they lasted about 2 months with one retouch in between. Very minimal shedding. Used about 4 packs of hair.
I can’t believe I learned so much by just re-watching this video! I’ve been watching this video all week and once I got home, my knotless box braids was perfected!💕
I have learned my best tips for braiding from BraidSchool. I went from a basic beginner to doing my own knotless Bora Bora human hair braids. I can’t emphasize enough how reliable every technique you learn in BraidSchool is! You've saved me thousands of dollars on hair services. Thank you, Vandy.
I’ve looked at over 30 videos and I’m so glad I found this one! Thanks so much, your right hand placement makes a difference! I’m confident enough to try them today!
The method starting from the root is a lifesaver! I was always curious as to how you would add the extension to your hair if it's shorter in some areas, while also making it look neat and good! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much. You do such a great job. I did knotless on my daughter yesterday. Was up till 2:20. Took me from 8-2. I am not as organized as you are and had to feed our horses in the middle of braiding. We race horses for a living. What talent you have. Thanks again
Since these are “classes” you should also discuss how you are splitting the braiding hair. How many packs used? How to ensure all braids are the same size, etc.
ive watched several of your videos and I am excited to go home and try this! i did the Marley hair twist w my step daughter last week and about to knotless braids tonight w my daughter.. thank you for your very clear and easy viewing videos!
I did them on myself about a week ago. I plan on keeping them in for quite a while. I'm gonna tape sessions and put them on my channel. It was my first time so I actually found myself switching between both methods.
This was the best tutorial that I’ve seen! You made this super easy and I couldn’t agree with you more about all these hand placements *insert side eye* out here confusing us trying to learn!!! Lol
Thank you for all you help and support. You are truly an angel. I love how calm you are and the way you go over things. I have been practicing with my mannequin head and I'm too excited to start getting clients.
I have short hair and used the first technique this past week to do my hair. Thank you for explaining why it isn’t a useful technique for short hair because I had all those issues. 🍀🍀
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Your video finally showed me how to feed in the braid hair where I can actually see it !!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 lots of sanitized hugs to you!!!!!
I do knotless braids on my daughter because I never knew how to do knots. I’m glad because knotless is The best for out hair. My problem is installing the on myself., it’s like I can’t get the beginning tight enough. The way you hold the hair is different then what I know how so I’m wondering if I learned your technique what my own braids come out better. Your channel is awesome. Thank you for sharing 💎 with us
I haven’t tried traditional knot less but I will be soon. I’ve tried crochet knot less twists. Learned that technique from UA-cam also. It was for beginners like myself who struggle with hand placement on advanced techniques
THANK YOU!!!!! This was the ONLY video I was able to understand. I’ve been struggling with knotless for weeks and because of this video I finallllyyyyyy got it🙌🏾
Your video has been so helpful for me. I don’t know many people who braid like myself when looking for this videos and you really helped me grasp the idea of feeding in the braiding hair. Thank you!!
YOU ROCK ! PERIOD... I WAS BREAKING MY WRIST AND ALL NERVOUS ABOUT HOW MY BRAID WAS COMING OUT BUT THIS METHODIST IS COINED YOURS IN MY HEAD.. THANK YOU SIS .. ITS IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE IM SO EXCITED AND IM TALKING LOUD...LOL THANK YOU REALLY YOUBARE THE BEST !!!❤❤❤❤❤❤ GOD BLESS YOU! 🙌
I am loving your channel!!! I normally don't do braids because they just hurt. But lately, I have been going through Hot Flashes, Yes!!1 I am a woman of a certain age and premenopausal having night sweats!!! I braided my hair and it has made a big difference in the hot flashes. but I wanted a new technique of doing my braids so they don't take as long to do. The knotless braids seem great. I am going to try them next.
I try the knotless braids yesterday and so far it didn’t go as bad because the person hair I tried it on was to soft and to short so gripping the hair was so difficult but I’ll continuing practicing on my mannequin head plus this is something I want to accomplish .
Thank you this is the best most clear tutorial and you explained the rationale behind each motion perfectly. Now I will be adding under and between and and 3rd leg.
Yes!! I’ve had knotless before, my first time was when I went to Jamaica and only paid $35 and I loved them so much and got to try a new pretty color, so I want to learn how to do them, this is an amazing tutorial (I put it in slow motion lol so I can follow precisely)
Ya-a-a-y! I learned how to do knotless feed -in box braids today! This is the best one for me, since it looks classy and professional - as there are no knots and I prefer a method that takes the strain off my own hair! Awesome! I like versions 2 and 3!
i love this me and my sister want to learn how to braid and i just told her watch this you is now my fav youtuber far as me trying to learn how to braid .
I've been wanting to learn the feed in. method & your video is the Best by far to explain & Demostrate it to wear I can understand..thank you love it...my sister gone be happy I can do her hair feed in style..YEAHH

needed this.. its been 2 hours and I have 3 braids trying to figure this out lol
I just saw your video for the first time today, subscribed today and has been learning from you... You are a great teacher, I love you sis... Thanks sooooo much for you tutorials, they are the real deals
Thank you! I am doing these now on my daughter's large but hers look medium large and mine medium.... I over braid and want to perfect my feed in or add in hair with messing up along the way.....
I love knotless Braids and I also do them the same way you do. I don't even want to do regular box braids anymore but clients still request them. Also thanks for letting me know that the boiling water won't damage the hair I always wondered
I just got some knotless braids done today, I love them. One thing I can say is She left a lot of unbraided hair at the bottom. Which is kinda cute but just tells me these braids gone come undone faster.. so even after paying $275 I’m going to have to braid them down a little longer.. other than that they turned out cute. And I believe she did the method where she braids. Real hair first then proceeds to feed in hair.
I wish you could be my real cosmo teacher I would love that and I actually tried em and my bestf did em the way you do them but now when I try to do them again because I tried on my mom I didn’t know abt how the second method went but now I do because when I do someone’s hair I do not want them to say it’s loose it fell out it pulled their out nothing. So this was very informative thank you so much
I tried knotless for the first time and I have to say as an inexperienced braided that your instructions was amazing. The hair tangled towards the end. How do you avoid that?
What are some tips on different texture hairs like what are some other products besides jam you can use plus love your videos super helpful for me I learn something every time.
@vandy, thank you so much for your videos. I’ve grown because of you! I can’t find a gel or pomade to suit my hair. (Shine and Jane made my hair fall out.). I have 4c very fine, dense hair. It’s growing from another big chop in June of ‘21. I want a gel/pomade/wax that is healthy for my natural hair but that also isn’t making my own hair revert while I’m braiding my own hair. I made my own beeswax but it doesn’t seem to lay as flat even with stretched hair. Any suggestions? 💜💜💜💜
Is it possible to start off with your prefer method when adding the extension to the scalp and then switch to the method where you add the extension to the index finger? I just feel like that one is a bit easier and faster.
Lol wow I’ve seeing soo many different ppl of how they start an braid there client hair. An for me Ik many is braid differently but I just wanted the real an one way of braiding hair. For knotless braiding 👌🏽💕☺️.
People pay thousands in schools to learn these techniques. Thank you for sharing without 50 billion ads and genuinely trying to educate ♥️
They don’t teach us at my school 😭
@@sierrazamora92 not in grade school like braiding school
It’s the 50 billion ads for me.
Cuz man they be tripping I’m like sis okay the coins but geezus
In cosmetology school you do not learn how to do anything extra unless there is a class offered that you pay for in addition to your basic fee!
The best tutorials out right now! Did some on my 13yr old and they lasted about 2 months with one retouch in between. Very minimal shedding. Used about 4 packs of hair.
Awesome!
Thank you for this. I can't wait to perfect these. I am a beginner and can't grip to save my life lol

Thank you! Your way makes my braids look so much more uniform and the feed in's are seamlessly integrated into the braid 🙌
Love these classes
Thanks so much for tuning in! I hope it’s been helpful 🙏🏽
@@VandyVanity it has been....I have no one to practice on yet except myself but Im going to buy a head soon

Chantel B yes i was thinking the same thing we gotta learn that before everything else
Yes
She has a video on that already. Search her feed in method braid. And it's literally at the beginning of the video
This is my only issue with braiding, which I think is most important.
Go watch her other videos..

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
Question:
-how many packs of hair did you use?
-how do you split it so that all braids are even?
I have the same questions as well
Any answer?
She liked it and didn’t answer 😅
If I’m not mistaken there’s a video on preparing the hair before braiding 🤷🏾♀️

Vandy this is one of the best braids I have seen. It does not start out small and the have these unequally large braids attached. Well done.
This was sooooo helpful but are you able to braid over hand because I’m typically braiding my own hair and can’t under braid at the roots ...thank you
