2 packs!!! I love this look. I want to do it in a short bob style. I do my own braids, but I'm getting the steamer. It's a game changer and I don't really like using a kettle with a short style. Thank you ❤
Love this. I wish they would just bring toyokalon back like we had it in the early 2000s. You didn't have to flat iron...loved it. Glad to see this done a different way for us old school braiders
Yes, I just said that they be doing a lot of the same salves back in the day. Just a little different method and 10 times the Price but these are very nice
That looks amazing. Xpression hair is one of the best fibers to use for so many applications, even loose hairstyles. I have used it for many things, and I have found that 260-270 F is the optimal range for heat styling expression hair. It never burns or weakens no matter what the color or brand, if you stay in that range. I am also a big proponent of steam. Its the best way to set low heat hair 🙂
@@cynthiahoggatt6911 Me too! It's one of the best kanekalon types. I blend it 50/50 with the same colors with tiara 2 braiding hair and I get a perfect hair that looks almost identical to human hair, tangles less, and has less of that unnatural shine.
Why does it matter who created it ? Everything is recycled from hair to clothes to music . Oh well they did a good job . Congratulations the style came out great . Everyone always so negative
She’s (the other lady) not the originator of that style. It’s over 30 years old. 2 styles mixed together. Box braids, tree braids, and the technique of braiding loose hair (pick and drop) . Quick and easy style for new or lazy braiding days.
Why do you have to re dip the hair if a new style is wanted? Would you flat iron again also? Lastly, how do you maintain this style? Does it get matted?
70s baby here. Been doing hair since 8 years old. Working in African braid shops at 15, this was being done before then. We are so creative as a people. There is nothing new under the sun. The use of the steamer is innovative and an improvement for sure. Beautiful work. She looks gorgeous. 🫠
Is this style achievable with human hair blend? Such as milkyway Que or Kima Signature Bulk hair? Excellent work, by the way, and thank you for all the details and education.
Tried this using the regular kanekalon braiding hair, followed Analia's steps to the tee & still got a mess! My advice is to use the exact hair Analia used/uses. Similar UA-cam tutorials on this style that produced similar results as Analia's, used the same hair. Now, as for this video, the braiding hair used & steps applied are not the same. However, this particular hair is said, from reviews, to have a soft, silky texture. Explains the results achieved.
Thats so cool you gave her credit because I learned about the mermaid braids and styling from her.
Loved her many different styling techniques!
2 packs were used for this beautiful, cost-effective style. You slayed this style as always !!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
2 packs is awesome! i always wondered about steamers ! im definitely going to try this hack. thanks. 🥰

You are so right! We used to have better options then.
They still have all the old hair on the shelves we just don’t look for it. This is what the bulk hair was meant for.
@ashleysmith985 Well where do you live? I've been looking for years now in AZ...and there's no toyokalon in sight!
Awesome tutorial and very detailed ❤❤❤

I thought the original name was tree braids?
And? Here… 🍪 She’s bringing it to people who aren’t familiar.

Excellent work, by the way, and thank you for all the details and education.
You can install blend hair the same, but you would skip the hot water or heat step because human blend hair would not change form.
I am going to be doing these these are cute
do you lock the ends ? edit 5:17 yes you do

These aren’t new… they’re tree braids
Exactly but you know how styles repeat themselves and next generation think they invented something new.
I thought tree braids were cornrows?
