@@bobbob-g8p nah they make very little after you take salaries, overheads, replacements/repairs etc. into consideration. plus you need an a reasonably large operating budget to procure parts ahead of time. so easy to put together a PC now it's hard to believe it's a popular service. one of the better options if you really want a prebuilt though imo.
@@kennethnoisewater4423 "so easy to put together a PC now it's hard to believe it's a popular service" well it's about convenience, not everybody is willing to do all their research about what is compatible with what, buy all parts and then assemble everything risking errors or mistakes that can kill the whole thing (I knew about a guy who mounted his fucking memory kit in the wrong way lol).
Only reason it's my last hope is it's the one closest to release that is not afraid to actually revolutionize the genre with newer game mechanics. I'm curious to see how the node system and PvE content that comes with it plays out with PvP. No MMORPG in the past has been able to successfully combine an enjoyable experience by mixing both pve and pvp into the same area. That's why you always end up with instances (separate zones) not part of the actual gaming world with battlegrounds, arenas, and dungeons. How is Ashes going to deal with this? Because if there is one thing I hate, it's how pvp mostly devolves into people attacking me while I'm involved in some kind of pve encounter and there is zero chance of me being able to do anything about it.
With any luck, Ashes will be the one that blows everyone's minds and becomes a place people can have some really memorable experiences. If our luck is shit? we're just spinning our wheels like we have been for years.
This shit is a doomed cycle. Release queues, hype for half a year, bots and gold sellers set in, nerfs, expansion bullshits, more nerfs, bots ruin the game. It happens every single time.
@@HittokiriBattousai17 glad you have a realistic take. tbh i dont think ashes is going to do it for people. I know this is subjective but I think its art style is relatively unappealing and does not have a big series name like ff14 to offset that. Its doing just more of the same when it comes to mmos not really making in substantial changes to moment to moment gameplay. its just disappointing
Wow already blew my mind back in it's release and i it will never be another game like it let alone a forever alpha game like this one and if ever gets released it's gonna be like Bless online, just a waterall of bad luck.
@@granthse Do you know anything about Ashes at all? It's not doing more of the same in any way. It's extremely unique. Of course it won't do it for some people because a lot of people can't be happy with anything. They'll just continue to play WoW or FF because that's what they like and nothing will ever compare. Ashes is going to popular though because they are making a good game and combat looks fun. That is all the game really needs.
@@granthse I am impressed that people are still basing MMORPGs (and RPGs in general) in medieval settings, like, seriously, we can do much more than fantasy or sci-fi. People playing safe is also one of the main reasons this shit sucks.
The repairing of the caravan and when it converts into a raft should not be a slow moving timer, in most cases there will be no battles and you will just sit there and wait and, not immersive. At the building site should be box to pick up special tools, gathered wood and stuff with those tools are able to be deposited and the progress bar will move. Thats how this should function in my opinion.
I feel like Peon really needs to diversify his content. MMOs seem pretty much dead at this point and I can't imagine there's much money it content for them
Likewise. I'm very wary of any new mmos and feel like this one might go down the NW path. A few good ideas, but mostly a re-hash and copy/paste of all the other mmos that have come before. Plus I have no interest in the PvP/GvG/city-building aspects whatsoever.

There definitely needs to be either a criminal bounty system or some reason to make attacking caravans less free, otherwise a basic function of the game will never work as intented due to overraiding
there is a corruption system in game when you kill other players. I think too much corruption and you shouldn't be able to enter major cities and towns, only have "bandit havens" those players can interact with. Wouldn't punish pvp gankers too much. But enough to where its more difficult to interact with the rest of the community.
There will be a bounty system, but that will be for hunting down corrupted players mostly from what I understand. Basically anti griefing mechanic. The caravans are intended as one of the PVP focuses. There will be open world PVP but the game isn't intended to make the player run around fighting to scratch the PVP itch. There will be systems connected to the caravans for attackers and defenders. I can see guilds being known as caravan raiders getting focused by other guilds for wars so there will be a cost.
Honestly this seems like the game I watch on youtube where the person boiled 30 hours of footage down to 10 minutes with all the "and then we waited" parts cut out.
I hope AoC will actually turn out to be a great MMORPG. Archeage was my favourite MMORPG and it was heartbreaking to see such a potential giant in the genre destroyed by incredibly greedy companies.
I mean as much as I've loved how down to earth and all the updates we get on Ashes. The combat still looks so bad... In an MMO if what you're doing 90% of the time doesn't feel good then people won't play. I'm glad they're doing remasters and tweaks to make classes feel/look better but I think theres still a long way to go. It still looks so archaic. A lot of the warrior/fighter skills we saw here are pretty decent but still doesn't feel quite right somehow.
The caravan system seems extremely tedious. I could imagine it being fun a couple times, but once the newness wears off it's just going to be another one of those things you're expected to do to remain competitive.
It's basically capture the flag reversed. instead of focusing on speed and offense, it's focused on durability and defense. Groups who are cohesive and preplanned will have a huge advantage, thus promoting guilds as well.
Why would anyone want to guard a caravan instead of raiding a caravan. If everyone attacks caravans no one will make caravans. If caravans are too easy to defend no one will attack caravans, and caravans will simply become an obnoxious waste of time.
If the goal is to destroy the wagon rather than capture it, then why not use a ballista? Then there need to be more defenses. I can see this mechanism evolving into a running siege. Considering that in ESO chasing down a scroll carrier can turn into an impromptu server-wide event complete with ambushes, zergs and Ballistas, there's a lot Intrepid can do with this
I feel this would have looked unimpressive even if I had seen this preview 10 years ago Not only are the visuals pretty underwhelming but the performance/frame rate looks very rough as well? MMOs really have struggled for like 15 years now lol
It's almost as if it's a work in progress and not past the alpha stage in development (weird right?). They've mentioned the performance is getting worked on in preparation for alpha 2. Also, you don't need hyper-realistic graphics to make a good game...
I love that they took the caravan and sailing to deliver loot in the open world to promote open world pvp from archage. That was such a good feature that nobody else has done for some reason.
Yeah, I'm not going to lie it's impressive what they've done. But things like having to wait 5 minutes for a caravan, or watching a 5 minute process of you waiting for a raft to be built might be cool for the first time.. but after the 3rd time that crap is going to get so tedious and no ones gonna want to play the game. Also the graphics.. if the game is so hard to run that you're going to have to have a very high end PC then that makes the game already insignificant and not accessable for 90% of gamers
A lot of the decisions made by the devs are clearly a “that only sounds good on paper” situation. These developers are not considering how most actual players will feel playing the game
@@James-kv3ll Exactly, this is why I'm so off by the whole game itself. Example, I have a high end PC so I should be fine with this game. But what about the other 95% of PC users who don't have the best of hardware who just want to play a game, they wont even be able to run it. This graphics issue is going to have a good 95% of players out of the cut by default.

WoW got so big because pretty much everyone could play it even with garbage 2004 PCs. Ffxiv gained dominance by being well optimized and available on consoles as well. You just need to look at the facts to know that Ashe will struggle to find success no matter what the game is like because of how the devs have built the game and the exclusivity to people with PCs that can run it.

I like what Asmon said about needing some more interactive elements/animations for the caravan system. As it stands it looks good for alpha, but will need to be improved for beta/release
I remember investing into this game back in 2020 for a pre order bonuses. Its been nice to see them listening to our feedback. Hopefully, the full release will be amazing.
Nobody has mentioned that the Node systems breaks the golden rule of mmos. Don’t let real life influence the game. With how the node system works Streamers like Asmongold and other Content creators will have a substantial amount of power over the game world and everyone else will just have to deal with it because they don’t have the same real world influence.
This was one of my thoughts as well, way back when info on the system was first released. Anyone that doesn't already have a (large) audience is basically never going to have any sort of chance at controlling major nodes. A lot of it will eventually come down to "which streamer/content creator can convince the most followers to do X."
I mean... They will have more power than the average person, but its a lot more complicated than that. Asmongold has a lot of followers but they are a legion of mindless thralls who couldn't boil a pot of water. They'll never get anywhere. Streamer guilds (essentially zerg guilds) are disorganized messes that'll collapse fairly quickly. Such renowned positions requires a level of coordination on a scale beyond just a couple of buddies. Most people will probably never control a major node, even without streamers.
Ehh. It's intended to be an insanely difficult part of the game, so he will control 1 of what... 90 or so nodes? i don't think it'll have the influence on the overall world you think it will.
@@Raviis correct. Unless it's a metropolis, then it's literally a world power. But getting voted in every month consistently probably isn't as likely as one would think.
@@drooskie9525 The main point is, if someone like Asmongold plays regularly and decides to go for a node, and tells his followers to vote for him... even a very small percentage of those followers will likely be enough to get him the win. Unless he's contesting a node with another streamer, he would almost always be able to win whatever node he wants. The same could be said of just about any streamer of decent size: with the exception of perhaps some guild leaders, Random Streamer X is likely going to be able to easily rally more support than any "normal" player. Especially once most of the initial hype wears off, and the playerbase starts getting cut down to its long-term population, any medium/large streamers will pretty much consistently be at the top easily.
Don't worry about later generations on that front. They'll have their own, different nostalgia moments just like your parents were probably at least a little disappointed you weren't interested in
It's not going to happen in an MMO. At least not like this one. You were amazed by MMOs because you used them to talk to communicate with people in a novel way online. They are no longer necessary or even desirable as such a vehicle anymore. The next great MMO which will create those experiences for a new generation will happen when they finally perfect VR, as that is the next communication frontier.
MMOs aren't gen z's game. They're really into royales and fps so I hope someone along the way can provide them with like you said that vanilla wow or tbc moment. As for me I'm really hoping AOC will live up to the hype.
Honestly, I've given up hope for the return of the MMO genre. It truly feels dead at this point. Ashes of Creation just looks like a massive game full of tedious content that's going to require you play it like a full time job.
And requires you to have one-hundred friends to accomplish anything meaningful, which, to reinforce your point, translates into full time job, which in itself (these days) requires you to adhere to the randomness of Discord cooperation with people of various ages, most of whom are annoying or who you would not associated with in real life. As an MMORPG player since the mid-90s, I'm for the most part done with this genre. It's a young person's game; those people with the time and availability to dedicate their lives to playing it. Adults? People with jobs, ambitions, and responsibilities? Nope. Plus, there's such a large portion of people coming into any new MMORPG who have already played it for possibly years before the general audience has, either because of Early Access or Streaming Access, and they in turn share every bit of info ahead of release, which ruins the magic of mystery and discovery by the general player base. But I could say that about any game, any genre, really---product of our current culture with giving so folks early access to titles. But I digress.
That’s what mmos used to be, full time jobs for us kids that had nothing better to do. Hits different as an adult with responsibilities. It’s not a race, play at your own pace
People are putting too much hope into Ashes and they are going to get burned yet again. Just chill and see how it pans out after release. Personally, this is one panning out to be not for me, but I'll give it a shot at release.

Na tbh the news about the Riot MMO is fine. It means they weren't happy with it. Considering they have been working on it for years already yet decided its not up to par anyway and took it back to drawing board constitutes to their commitment that they want to do it right and not just release some stuff to make money. If anything this further solidifies my impression they are indeed dedicated to quality over short term profit. This is stark contrast to Blizzard who for some time focused on profit over quality.
I cant believe that gw2 still has the most fluid animations and best character controller till now, even the f aoc that is being created in 2024 is still choppy and laggy and doesnt cover all movement states and slides on floor and have very minor flaws in animations that are just not present in gw2 at all. Its actually fascinating.
because AoC is still in development? gw2 went into development in 2006 and released in 2012 so theyve essentially had 18 years to make their animations smooth. AoC is still being made and improved so calm down and wait for the game to come out. its not a finished product yet.
@@clansurf2253 i have high hopes for aoc on all systems except player character controller animations. New World combat is head and shoulders better. Well at least the melee combat is. Black Desert has solidified itself as the mmo with the best combat for the last decade and yet other mmos refuse to copy it. Most of it's playerbase is sticking with it purely for the combat. Making an mmo with the same combat system and better monitization is basically a guaranteed success at this point.
Great video man, i followed all the dev talks so far but this is good for my friends that wanna know what's goin on without me linking them those 2-3 hours dev talks
I feel like if AoC isn't massively successful, MMOs will die entirely. Ever since Wildstar went down, I have not been impressed by a single MMO. They're either p2w or complete garbage
which studio is making the animations for this game? those warrior spells and movement/swing animations are identical to Neverwinter online Great Weapon Fighter class
I know I'm probably in the minority, but my only real complaint is they are going flashier on these abilities than I would like. I was hoping for something a bit more grounded, and watching their group content was a cluster f-.
Def a minority. People want graphics. People want spells that look good. Doesn't have to be Lost Ark over the top, but muted would be a bad call imo. It's graphics are really the only thing that set this MMO apart for me. It it was muted or had a different art style all together I wouldn't even be interested personally.
@hoofhearted4 graphics are more replicable than gameplay and systems and also are more liable to run like poo. That's why all these generic UE5 games feel and look the same. And they didn’t show anything critical to the experience of playing an mmo like the group content, Gear progression, leveling, professions, or travel mechanics. They spent considerably more time over the last 6 years talking about Fcking Caravans than literally all of their promised content
Ur mad cause you're ignorant. They've already said Ashes of Creation is going to be a sub based game. They've also opened up multiple inventories in the video above. Or did you not watch it? Can't remember if they spoke about the gear upgrade system or not but I don't really see how THAT's what you care about at this stage of development. They don't even have all the classes and their respective subclasses fully worked out lol. Moronic comment wanting to learn about stuff that has no relation to the current dev cycle.
I mean FF14 is still going strong, MMORPGs are not dying, I do not like Ashes of Creations systems, so I will not be playing it, there will be more MMORPGs, it will be fine.
He doesn't like story in MMOs, and FF14 also has a huge community, that love to RP, and do other things together, but he didn't get it. Just skipped all the story, and complained. FF14, is as close to an original MMO, that you can get. Tbh

Im gonna be real here. The hype for this game is like 80% lost on me over the years. And the fact that they really want to push the pvp aspect in the open world just kills all hope i have for it.
It was always meant to be primarily player driven, right? so obviously a main form of player driven interaction is pvp. I love Archeage, the only reason I quit was the bad gear progression and the cash shop. They likely don't discuss the PvP much in their update videos because A) they assume everyone already knows it's a PvP-focused game, and B) most of the PvP elements aren't actually in the game yet, so they don't really have many updates specifically for that yet. I do think that a lot of potential players will be disappointed in the game, though. That being said, realistically speaking, Ashes "succeeding" doesn't mean it has to have millions of players, and I don't think the devs have realistically considered that sort of playerbase as a long-term prospect. With the subscription fee and all the cosmetics they sell, the game could easily be a financial success with something like 100-200k consistent players, and probably even less.

Why not make it automatically loot everything and never have to pick anything up yourself? This philosophy is what lead to the WoW we have today that is a shell of its former glory.

I sadly do think it says something how many individual times I've entirely forgotten this game is in development. I am all for a game taking it's time in development, but AoC seems to completely fall out of memory for very large periods of time, and sadly I think this could negatively affect it's player numbers once it's finally released. The combination of some people being hyped up far beyond reasonable expectations and people completely forgetting about it could be disastrous at launch and for a period after.
Not at all. They want you to forget about it because it makes people less upset when they take their time. Once it gets close to release they'll have actual good Marketing and word of mouth to fix the gap. Just gotta let them cook some more

Not gonna lie , the caravan system and how it transforms to a boat made me so hyped! Overall amazing development! Finger crossed everything develops further smoothly!
The game looks good. The corruption system that discourages griefing might incentivize more casual players to give it a shot without fear of constant ganking. Lord knows there are too many games already using the 24/7 open-world PVP mechanic and a vast majority of them barely have a player base. It's still too early to get excited. yo, hope you are doin good mate. Just wondering what the status on "Life Is An MMORPG" pt.2 and pt.3 looks like (since the last one was 2 yrs ago). Are we going to get an update to that?
You know, personally i've been following the project since 2017 and put about 500 dollars into it in 2020. I have one big gripe when ashes is mentioned anywhere and its people memeing about it taking so long. On the one end you have MMO's that launch and are TERRIBLE at release or lack any endgame content (New world). Then people proceed to complain saying they should've taken their time and added on another year or two of development. Then this game comes along, takes a very long time to develop because they want to do it right from the get-go and people complain about it taking too long. Like what the fck do you want? This is literally one of the last promising MMORPG's in development right now. Just shut up and let them cook damnit.
They’re literally asking for feedback. Even negative feedback. The length of time an mmo takes to release is important because graphics and systems become outdated. Plus other games actually release that might steal the interested audience.
The issue is they're accepting a metric buttload of money for a game that's been in development for years and STILL doesn't have a foreseeable release date. I get they need to fund the game but like you said, you spent 500 dollars so far. That's just silly. Let's just say the game overcomes all the hurtles that go into taking 20 years to make a game. Is that going to be the new standard? Games that are only good if we give them hundreds of dollars for a game that won't release for 20 years? It's a lose lose situation
@@joshsmith5626 Currently you can't spend a dime on the game. So just let them cook. The fact that i spent disposable income on a vision is my choice. They don't need to fund the game, the CEO is a millionaire. It was just for people that wanted perks or cosmetics / pre paid gametime.

There already is. A Bounty Hunter system is a part of the design. Personally, that's gonna be what I want to do the most.
@FearHype me too, it's all I did in archeage, I just know how hard it is to balance
I assume this will be ironed out in alpha 2 & beta testing

I mean as much as I've loved how down to earth and all the updates we get on Ashes. The combat still looks so bad...

I thought this as well, but maybe the PvP aspect of it will be the selling point... Also with some sort of PvP perk system to level up?
Considering that in ESO chasing down a scroll carrier can turn into an impromptu server-wide event complete with ambushes, zergs and Ballistas, there's a lot Intrepid can do with this
I thought it will be like in a Silkroad...

@@coadamolx0100 You’re criticizing this person but the crux of their sentiment is correct.
This game can never reach the success levels of mmos like WoW or FFXIV if it isn’t more widely accessible.

I just want our new generation to have something to have a nostalgia moment like I’ve had back in vanilla wow or others!
If they're normal kids, sure. But majority of gen z is beyond redemption.
@@CHET_CHADDINGTON that’s cause many after wow were just crappy rip offs. Many from the Asian companies were just boring grindfest with anime art.
Honestly, I've given up hope for the return of the MMO genre. It truly feels dead at this point. Ashes of Creation just looks like a massive game full of tedious content that's going to require you play it like a full time job.
This sounds more like your personal issue with the genre. Maybe you're just over MMOs....
That's like every MMO ever since WoW. Seems like you're over it or have other things to do, or whatever reason.
@SlickMajestic Solid take. I really enjoyed ff14 but yeah it's like a job 😅
That’s what mmos used to be, full time jobs for us kids that had nothing better to do. Hits different as an adult with responsibilities. It’s not a race, play at your own pace

Na tbh the news about the Riot MMO is fine. It means they weren't happy with it. Considering they have been working on it for years already yet decided its not up to par anyway and took it back to drawing board constitutes to their commitment that they want to do it right and not just release some stuff to make money.

Imagine complaining that a pvp game has pvp in it. Go play something else if you don't want to pvp?
It was always meant to be primarily player driven, right? so obviously a main form of player driven interaction is pvp.
I love Archeage, the only reason I quit was the bad gear progression and the cash shop. Like Archeage, for AoC, most likely the meat of the content will either be pvp fighting over resources, or other content which funnels into the economy like life skills and monster farming etc. Sounds like a grand time to me.
@@kylefaith1 They have barely emphasized that it is supposed to be a pvp game, they rarely even mention it so im thinking most people don't even know what they're in for because they got 0 clue, theyre in for a rude awakening.
And your comment is completely besides the point anyway since the game aint even out yet lmao.
They have to start showing more things that will "Wow!" people before the majority loses interest.
@@conniescurse7325 I can't see it succeeding tbh, the game will be ruled by the few mega guilds that only pvp leaving the game with a very small playerbase since no one will be able to compete with the big dogs.
@@smiIingman While I do agree the game is massively overhyped, the devs have never tried to play the game off as anything but a PvP game.
I disagree that it's the last hope. Monsters & Memories and EverCraft are also on my hope radar 🥰
all this time in development and people will try it for a couple days or maybe weeks and then go back to WOW 😂the MMO crowd is at a point in their lives where they don’t have time to learn a whole new game we got families and careers to take care of 😢🤷🏽♂️
Compared to other MMOs, this one is actually quite promising. Idk, i look forward to it. Most people just go back to wow because its consistent, even if it kinda sucks.
I've quit wow for less and then came back because the game screws up with p2w or some other garbage. If they delivery everything promised i'll be good with AOC. Not having kids has its perks for playing MMORPG's
sunk cost fallacy for sure. I play GW2 casually. been playing it since launch, still have things to do. I see putting in time to a new MMO, time I could be putting into GW2 to continue goals.
@@hoofhearted4 Same :D Been playing gw2 since headstart so almost 12 years, kinda nuts. But pretty much that, you have too much time spent on it so moving on is hard. But i never move on, i just pause mmo's from time to time xD
Always a good watch, thanks mate.
"If it's not broken, don't fix it."
You could say the same for looting individual mobs. It was not broken, why change it?
Changing it to AoE looting is a slippery slope. Why not make it automatically loot everything and never have to pick anything up yourself? This philosophy is what lead to the WoW we have today that is a shell of its former glory.
I love seeing the similarities and inspiration Steven took from Archeage in all kinds of details. It was a pleasure to face up against him on Vengeance way back when and I can't wait to get into this game!
Wow, this genre is really dead. Not figuratively, anymore, greedy publishers actually managed to kill the best, most infinite, most self-sustaining and ever-growing videogaming branch there is. This is why aliens won't talk to us. I just want to be a kid again and play Lineage 2.
Your videos are the best. Straight to the point and very informative. Thank you, sir.
That caravan pvp looks awesome
Just gotta let them cook some more
@@ImmortalityV Pure cope.
@@ragnnohab You're god damn right. But atleast they're making a solid game, can't say the same for anything currently in development.
@5:33 “Received very positively by the ashes community. For me personally, I was especially a fan of the fluidity of the two mobility abilities” OKAY EMINEM 🔥
Pipe dream.
Caravan PvP feels familiar, silkroad online anyone?
You put less and less efforts in your content, at least in my honest opinion. I don't care for AoC but speaking for the video itself. Compare this some other content creators that cover Mmos and it's staggering
Going to white knight here a bit. This video is just a summary video. The point of a video like this is to provide as much pertinent information as quickly as possible. If he did a deep dive into each topic this video would be multiple hours long.
Peon talking about Steven's trash mage gameplay had me laughing out loud 😂
Not enough risk is how pvers try to convince devs to kill pvp. The burden of safety and risk is on the players shipping goods not the thieves lol.
u should make a review for conan exiles!
if this thing is the last hope of mmos we might as well sell our pcs
@xReaghan what does that have to do with what I said brainlet
For the lighting concern, they've said that lighting will be getting an overhaul before A2. They also said it will be the single biggest improvement to visuals that they do.
And in 2030 they will use the new engine instead of ue5
You know the MMO state is bad when the MMO UA-camrs are making videos about a game with a promised beta in 2020. Hopefully one day 2020 will come!
Oh no, if only there was a single successful mmo with a large playerbase out there for people to enjoy… shame we don’t have a single one, let alone two or three. Come on man, don’t be naive.
The slikroad vibes from the caravan part is the best part of this game, i missed trade runs form silkroad
no matter what this game isn’t going to be able to live up to the hype since its been in development for 5+ years 🤦🏽♂️they shoulda never been this transparent with the development
How does sharing their development = living up to hype??? The riot mmo had the most hype and we knew nothing about it. L take
@@ImmortalityVI think that's his point.. no one knew what was happening leading everyone to speculate. Ashes is showing everything, but game design is very slow.
@@thebigbucktheory5488 Yeah true. I think that's fine though. I'd rather have them take as much time as they need to deliver an actual good mmo than another half assed one we quit in 2 months to go back to wow AGAIN
I won't argue that. I'm just saying people will not be as a hyped. It's better to show all development and steal people hype, than show nothing and steal everyone's money lol. At least they are making a game. @@ImmortalityV
@@thebigbucktheory5488 Amen :D
I just don't understand how MMO fans can keep getting roped into the same fucking hype for every fucking game that's ever announced, this one included.
Can't wait to finally play this game on my death bed.
I remember going to PAX Seattle in 2017 and playing AoC beta with a GM. Sad to see the games STILL in development 7 years later but lets hope for a amazing mmorpg to take the throne.
see you in 2030, this project seems like a money laundry tool to spend cash, make some decent MMO with decent function then burn some number in financial data.
If this is our last hope .. we are fucked ..
Not gonna lie , the caravan system and how it transforms to a boat made me so hyped! Overall amazing development! Finger crossed everything develops further smoothly!
arpgs are the new mmo Path of Exile 2 for me until some kind of miracle comes along in 5-10 years time
The game looks good. The corruption system that discourages griefing might incentivize more casual players to give it a shot without fear of constant ganking. Lord knows there are too many games already using the 24/7 open-world PVP mechanic and a vast majority of them barely have a player base. It's still too early to get excited. There's still too much we don't know, but I'm willing to give it a go right now.
Peon will enter a state of delirium if Ashes turns out to be bad.
If it turns out bad I'd probably stop covering MMOs and do something else
@@TheLazyPeon Would you still do MMO's just in a different setting? Like reviewing badly rated mmo's and such,or completely shift to some other genre
@@TheLazyPeon respect
@@TheLazyPeon The worst MMO segment could still continue, it's hilarious. You should just do normal reviews, though.
BDO >>> TL
Why does the Rangers weapon look like a bow, but shoots just like a semi-auto/full-auto Assault Rifle with UNLIMITED AMMO?
Isnt it a monthly subscription
Yes it is unfortunately.
@xReaghanBDO and lost Ark come to mind.
Irony is these games have optional subscriptions that are so P2W/Convenient it’s almost mandatory to pay for it anyways lmao
I think the blood particle effects on the skills are is too much. No one has that much blood. Other then that. Looking Awsome. Can't wait to play Alpha 2.
Steven, if you read this.. THANK YOU
yo, hope you are doin good mate.
@@James-kv3ll My dude graphics isn't at the top of the list when you're worried about development timeline lmao. Never mind the fact they swapped to UE5 and continuously integrate the UE updates as well. If you want to push a release because graphics potentially being outdated or worried that another game may steal the hype, you're already going to fail. Make a good game, it will draw players. It's that simple really.
@@ImmortalityVnot hating on you for spending the cash, it's your money do what you want with it. I just think it's shady practices for a company that doesn't NEED the funding yaknow
