I enjoyed this series. I grew up in Bentonville playing in the creek at Coler, and I still live within 20 minutes. But I haven’t been on the trails yet. To me, they’re still a new thing around here. I used to have to drive a couple hours away to ride when I was in my 20’s. I’m 42 now and haven’t really mountain biked in a decade or so. But I’m teaching my 6 y/o son to ride a bike, so I’m getting back into it. And these trails are here, so I’ve gotta try them out! Thanks for the great videos, man.
LMAO!!!! That is good, it was super-hot every single day we were there. I see why all the videos seems to be in the spring and fall. Still fun as all get out. But you need to be an early bird during the summer. Thanks for watching, make sure to like and subscribe. P.S I have a video of my honest review of Bentonville check it out.
if you go during the summer get ready to jump into the creek and bring some frozen water bottles so you dont die lol, otherwise I stick to road riding when its hot
@@atomiccat2002 Isn't it still hot when you're road riding. Do you just ride early in the morning in the summer? Can you ride through the winter months?
@@lpass1 yes , there are some days when it is indeed too hot to ride, I went for a road ride in 110 degree weather and it was like riding in hot soup, glad I had 3 frozen water bottles on me at the time and I was tempted to jump into the river to cool off, but any day where it is less than 100 as long as I can get some decent speed to get some wind and minimal climbing I can still get a road bike ride in, but yes early morning or a late night bike ride is the only way I am getting a Mountain Bike ride in during the hottest part of the summer Winter months well even in Washington state I rode all year round, just need different bike and different gear for zero degree weather lol, for the most part it doesn't get below freezing too often during the afternoon too much here where I am in Arkansas, I basically only consider January to be winter here otherwise it seems like a long fall season for me, right now in February its been 70 degrees so I consider spring to have started already. Also for the wet muddy season ( now ), I like to ride a Fat tire bike so I can still ride MTB trails in the mud and not destroy them or crash.

Thanks so much for watching. I hope you enjoy them. Your son is gonna have a great training ground.
Absolutely loved the video. My family and I will be moving to the NW Arkansas area soon. I'm looking forward to riding some of these trails.
First off, is your name really Brett Scott? Second you are gonna love that place. Great town.

@@MTBRideFree How cool! LOL
Awesome riding! How wide were your tires? I’m going in April

I thought about moving to Bentonville, but when a Georgia resident complains about the heat I'm noping the hell out.
