Dth has got to be the best built drop in the history of drops
Wanted to say how much I enjoyed your videos on supporting your parents efforts at racing. IMHO the best biking/family videos on the internet. I am 76 and pretty much alone in life..These videos inspired me to get back on my bike and ride. I've lived across from some pretty good trails in Arizona, and yet not ridden in a couple of decades. I own (believe it or not) 3 mtn bikes from the 1990's. One of them is currently being converted to an ebike for getting started. After surviving Covid and a heart attack I am ready to get back into the world. Lastly, I'd like to say I greatly admire and respect Macky, but I am thoroughly smitten with Syd.
So glad to hear you're getting back out there! Have fun with it and hopefully you'll love the e-bike (we love ours)!
Ok the "adaptive rider" that's just awesome! To see an organization put in the effort for all to enjoy is heart warming.
That adaptive trike is amazing
Love Bentonville and love how you experienced it with friends, food, and trails. You’ve got great energy in your videos through the ups and downs of life. I raced XC years ago before getting into road biking and triathlons, but you’ve helped inspire me to get back on the trails again, so thank you!
This is absolutely righteous. It's awesome to see a video that highlights underrepresented groups in mountain biking. Such a cool, accessible way to share a place!
Love the tour from such different perspectives. I can't wait to get my family down there
Yay Syd back to her usual cheerful self!!! I honestly could tell the difference and it was really heart wrenching. seems like you got a. more positive outlook on life since iceman Cometh!
Thank you for sharing your adventures. Antonio is the man, keep up the love of MTN biking.
The amount of bike paths is straight up impressive. Wish more communities embraced outdoor infrastructure like this.
Great video. Would love to go there. Maybe someday. Loved seeing that they are building trails for adaptive riders.
We moved from Salt Lake to Bella Vista which is next to Bentonville in August 2021 for the biking, and have no regrets! We love it here❤
Thank you for visiting my little hometown!
Sounds like I need to plan a week trip up there! Those trails look amazing!
How rad that there are MTB trails that start right in the middle of downtown! They really invested in this as a city!
I ride my recumbent trike indoors (first year). Watching you guys every ride and it was a delight to see a recumbent on track vs cement!!!!!! Thank you so much for that❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Be there the 4&5th can’t wait.
Love it there! We were last there right after seeing you at Nationals and they have made changes to some of those trails since then. Always building and changing, so awesome!
Good to see you two back in action!
Great timing for me with this video to help me scout and plan. I'll be in the Bentonville area mid-December. Hoping the weather holds out so I can bring my bike along and explore the trails.
Love the Santa Fe Brewing bottle caps on the head sets. Happy Camper rules!
Bentonville is about five hours away from where I live and everytime I go its my happy place. Also, as a civil engineer and always working on projects that incorporate pedestrian facilities, it makes me happy to see that the needs of the riders with disabilities are being considered in some of the trails. Apart from All American (obvious trail), Schroens Train is a perfect example of a trail that it can be converted for adaptive riding and still retain the same character from the original build. The first drop used to be a 24" wide plank into an 8' drop. The current feature still retains that same drop should a rider desire to carry the speed, but also make it rideable for anybody. Also, on my first ever trip to Bentonville I found Hamish. I have a picture of me booping Hamish while riding a Trek Domane. Cool cat.
I could keep writing about my experiences in there, but Im afraid it will become like writing a book here :)
Amazing timing!! We are headed to Bentonville next Thursday for four days of riding!
You guys, thanks for this post. What great timing. We’re on our annual relocate from Ontario to Arizona and finally the weather looks agreeable to visit NW Arkansas! Now I just need to find a good place to camp
@Michael Houlden Check out Blowing Springs RV park. It's right in the middle of it all.
You found Hamish! So friendly.
Betnonville looks like such a wicked awesome town, really loving the vibe in this video!
Ahhh,E-bike, the sound of not having to kill yourself to get up a hill, the Sound Of Music!
What a great place to visit. Nice change of pace video also.
So cool that you're riding with the jagged axe trailbuilders... I LOVE riding at Glorieta, btw :D
Gotta get back there! Such a great collection of trails.
You had Ozark Mountain Bagel! It’s my favorite breakfast spot. They even have Onyx coffee in their urns.🥰 Always so glad to have you guys in the area!
I've been to Little Rock Arkansas years ago! Very green 💚
Hey guys, nice vid as always. Just a question and observation: I find that in most cases even if I record in just 1080p, if I upscale it to 4k and upload it YT won't totally screw up the quality. Your footage gets violated and abused so hard by YT compression, but it doesn't if you UL in 4k. Would that be something you would consider experimenting with?
I've been a couple of times and it's worth the trip from Michigan.
I didn't know you had done Drop the Hammer. Awesome! I also didn't know Alex and crew had done the new Rim Trail. It's short but a real blast. Super fun.
Lucky to call these my local trails :)
That video was just FUN
The E-Bike is a real game changer for adaptive riders, especially MTB. I have seen many road adaptive riders in Colorado on Ride The Rockies and Bicycle Tour of Colorado. So impressed that they would hand crank up Colorado’s mountain passes.
You guys rock!!
Gosh you guys make those ebikes look light:)
Your video came up as suggested for me, it’s ironic that I’m actually in the background of your video when you were getting loafin joes! Lol
🤣
Alex and Kelsie rule.
Wow wow adaptive riders 👍👍👍👍
Awesome video!!
Well done
It was neat to see that three wheeler get around so well! He manages great for that thing...it also must be an eBike? When Macky helped him recover from that spill he took, I was wondering what he would have done with out Macky? Could he have righted himself alone? Glad to see such enthusiasm about ebikes! I got my first new Mt Bike in over 20 years and its an eBike too! I'm subscribed, how come I don't get an email wen you guys post new stuff?
you are really good both, my like of course, greetings from Argentina.
Ok, that was a hoot. 😁
You guys should come to Anadelle state park in NorCal.
Awesome video. I'm getting my stuff ready to take a trip out that way. Any suggestions on RV parks or campgrounds near town to set up?
I’d recommend blowing springs rv park
I was waiting for the Walmart corporate pitch lol Nice trails though
Amazing
20:34 clearly distracted by a cat :D
looks like great weather, how many weeks ago was this, thinking it may be a great Turkey day destination for next year.
The earlier rides were late October and the last ride was 2nd week of November
I am just now figuring out from the second dude that it's really off camber and not off camera. Lol.
all good besides e-bikes on single track.. ugh
I want to go there so bad. I just have to figure out how to keep my non-cycling husband busy
i have £70 budget and i need knee pads and hopefully elbow pads. what would you recommend?
What is the name of the trails?
How did you get sponsored?
What kind of travel do you have on your e-bikes?
Mine is 170/180, Syd's is 150/160.
They really should not allow ebikes except for adaptive. At what point does it turn into moto-cross!?
i want to dance and mountain bike bentonville
Should hook up with Martyn Ashton #GMBN
dang does this town just spend all their money on trails?
Well Walmart does
Kidney Stones
His bike ..,.$345....... Their bikes..,$7000😆
No e-bikes please👎🏻
