I live 2 hours from here. I can tell by the bird songs and the condition of the trees that this is late spring/early summer. Probably muggy as hell too! The weather here in summer is horrendous with the humidity, it's hard to breathe correctly! Most people who aren't adjusted to it find it overbearing. Helmet, hydration pack were always totally soaked in sweat too. I have actually stopped and wrung out my helmet pads because they were dripping in my eyes! Beer/shower was always the best afterward!
I am headed their next month = mid-April and hoping it is not too hot then. Do they allow eBikes on any of the trails? Good video thanks for putting it together.
I never noticed any, but I also didn't see signs saying no ebike. So I would say they most likely allow class 1 and 2 ebikes. Enjoy the place. Let me know what you thought.
Wife and I headed there Mid april as well... We are actually staying at the condos to the right @2:33! They rent E-bike alot around there so they are allowed on all trails from what i am told.
@@Dondofish Condos called "TrailHead Mews". They were great! will be going again. Supper clean, reasonably priced, trail head at the back door! amazing place
There’s a wave of youtubers posting videos about how TOTALLY AWESOME bentonville is. There’s a collective eye roll from the MTB community. That whole place looks incredibly neutered. I didn't see anything I'd rate higher than a green. I guess Walmart is more interested in building bike/walking paths instead of singletrack MTB trails but I guess it's got to be something an 8 year old on one of their $100 huffys can ride.
@@MTBRideFree I hope so since you drove all the way out there because just from what I saw in your video it looks like a family fun center. I appreciate you posting the content you share because I'm always looking for new adventures. Thanks!
Thanks for posting this! I was wanting to see some of the basics before I go down and ride for the first time and this was exactly it.

What a great video!

Ha! That hotel you’re staying in used to be the Red Bud Motel. It was the skankiest place in Bentonville in the 80’s and 90’s.
Cool, now it's a pretty cool mtb motel.

Your bike looks so smooth! What kind of bike do you ride?
I ride a Marin Rift Zone 2. I do love it. I would like more travel.
How do you get your bike so quiet? Also, what psi do you run in your tires?
I keep my bike quiet by not riding super hard. Lol and the tire pressure changes, f22-24 r24-26. That's been my range here lately.
