      Did it last June with 106 degree temps, in a TJ with 35's, lockers and a 2" budget lift. To be honest I survived it. Ended up having t-case issues and bending a stock control arm on Chewy. Had to weld the arm back together before we got to Axle Hill. However, got out on my own power. BTW once your done with Yellow Hill, there is still a long drive back to pavement.

      That drive back to pavement is no joke...

    Rock pile is the one the buggy Was trying. The jeeps were hitting son of a rock pile. Which is still gnarly.

      @@Trailsoffroad I wish! Been many years since I've ridden it. Before GoPro was big. I love the trail to the top. Super scenic, remote and great views of the LA Sal mountains.

    Love your videos, but please invest in a better microphone with a ‘dead cat’ to eliminate the wind noise.

    • @Trailsoffroad
      @Trailsoffroad  5 років тому

      hahahhaa, I hear you. They are all action cam's, and unfortunately, when the wind gets about 15 mph it doesn't agree with the camera.
      I (Josh) would love to get a new camera but that cost a couple pennies and I usually don't have much space to store a camera while driving.

      @@Trailsoffroad Hey Josh, try searching for "Micover Stickover". Something like that might work for your situation.

    NIce footage. You think 37s are a minimum for this trail?

    • @Trailsoffroad
      @Trailsoffroad  5 років тому +1

      37's do help. We did have some people on 35's, but they did have to winch through several of the obstacles.

    • @Crawlerjamie
      @Crawlerjamie 5 років тому

      Justin Bedard I did it on 35s , 140” wheelbase and pretty darn low hanging belly. Locked front and rear makes it doable

    • @trevorj79
      @trevorj79 4 роки тому +1

      I’ve done it twice in an LJ on 35s. Didn’t winch anything
