@@vanguardbreaker8826 Given that Brock's mom Lola was a Water-type trainer, I guess it would make sense for Brock to embody both his parents preferred typing
I feel like Jessie and James and Meowth aren't fully obscure Team Rocket members, the anime shows many times they're capable of their job they just can't beat a main character..so without the constant fails and distractions that ash brings I feel they'd slowly raise in rank in Team Rocket (though wouldn't be important in the anime as they'd never bother with ash)
I like how most Gym leaders just aren't at their gym in Sinnoh. Like I know they have other jobs and lives but seriously, especially with Fantina, it must be a nightmare to get into the league. At least Candice seems to be reasonable.
Even Gym Leaders can fall into a slump (especially so, if from continuous defeats to challengers), and begin to doubt their status. This is why the Pokémon League allows them to take time off, to rediscover their passion, or do some special Training to get themselves back on track. Most Gym Leaders will bounce back from whatever problems they had and be back accepting challengers after a short while. If they don't however, their absence will eventually force the League to assign a new Leader, or in lack of one, shut the Gym down.
Unova is gonna be messy. Without Team Rocket, he loses out on Oshawott and Pignite, while Oshawott is a direct result of him not getting Krookodile and Palpitoad.
(Updated this comment). He only lost because zekrom drained pikachu’s powers ( because he accidentally hit the electric dragon due to Jesse and James ambushing them.) They are in the region because of team plasma but are still background characters.

@@The_Purrpetrator Nonono, Charizard will probably still have 2 megas. And Blastoise will have a normal mega, and a mega that gives him ICE type. So it can counter Charizard's DRAGON mega.
This seems to be a thing in this series: anytime Ash defeats his rival, they learn from their mistakes and crush him in the league. Unlike Ash who doesn’t seem to realize that fact and suffers as a result.
@@alphabladelm2011 Ash has a tendency to make emotional based decisions, even in situations where he has amazing Pokemon and the odds are in his favor. The reason he lost to Paul in the battle at Lake Acuity is because of bad judgment calls. That battle showed what is, to this day, arguably the biggest tactical beatdown ever seen in Pokemon.
@@SnowyWolborg yeah but in the anime, at least in the Sinnoh region, he got much better at thinking as a battler rather than just charge in. After the lost in Lake Acuity, he learned a lot from Paul. So I don't really think that it makes much sense to have Ash always get smacked around by his rivals when it matters most
Ideas for Unova: 1. Ash's Snover sneaks in his bag and goes to Unova 2. Ash catches Deerling in the beginning since his Blastoise would be able to stop it from fleeing by using Dig. 3. Ash catches Pawniard and evolves into Bisharp to be his Ace in the region as a Replacement for Krookodile. 4. The lesson he learns Is he needs a rotation of Pokemon to train so he is not as predictable in battle.
2:17 I don't know how I never noticed this before, but look at Paul here. After throwing the pokeball to release Chimchar, he catches it as it's pushed back/upwards by the force of energy release. This is how trainers are able to recall their mons after seemingly yeeting the ball onto the field somewhere. Maybe everyone already knew this and I'm an idiot, but this has cleared up a really big plot hole for me.
While I get the trouble it would've caused with the videos length, I really wish you would've made Ash utilize all his pokemon, both sinnoh and before, to see what a full powered Ash could do.
When Gary won in Kanto because of a loss to Ash before I enjoyed the twist. But Paul winning here (not counting Tobias) in exactly the same way l just can’t get behind. Fantastic job as usual. I’m certainly not saying it isn’t. And it is in keeping with the actual show to do the exact same thing. Lol

*Pokemon he didn't get in this time line so far* Pikachu (Of Course) ,Butterfry , second Pidgeot(Cause he Catches the First Pidgey), Squirtle(Squirtle Squad), 28 Tauros , Lapras, Snorlax, Donphan, Swellow, Corpish , Aipom, Staraptor,Torterra, Gliscor and Gible *New Pokemon's in this Timeline* Blastoise, Pidgeot (The First Pidgey), Primape(He Keeps it like he should of), Stantler, Beedrill, Breloom, Manectric,Luxray,Buneary (Which he trades) Hippowdon and Snover Damn Torterra and Gible will be missed
Yup and at least he won't get 5 others either, 4 in Unova and 1 in Kalos. Unova: Pignite and Oshawott due to no Team Rocket. Oshawott is involved with the initial Sandile plotline (So no Krookodile either) and Palpitoad. Kalos: No Team Rocket means Ash's battle with Clemont won't get interrupted, meaning no Greninja, as Ash doesn't need to save it, because Garchomp doesn't go Berserk.
Couple things: - Wow Hippopatas did not get a single win before it's evolution (at least none that were discussed in the video). - Wait a minute that's not how Electivire evolves. The anime's been pretty consistent with trade evolutions. Still a very cool moment though. - I'm kinda sad that you didn't incoperate Ash's older Pokemon like the original timeline but it makes sense in and out of universe (in universe cause why wouldn't Ash use a strat that won him the league and out of universe cause was really long and probably needed a much simpler league writing) - Imagine people's reaction to Ash winning the Hoenn league then hitting bottom 4 in Sinnoh. It would be ugly. - Sweet Misty's back...sort of. Sorry to see she lost so badly to Paul especially after apparently losing repeatedly to Brandon. This was really good and I commend you for working so hard on it. Can't wait to see how Unova goes.
Love this concept and so excited for the next installment. You put so much time and thought into these videos. It's so impressive. I would love to see more "what if..." scenarios.
Just got to say, these videos a excellent. They are well thought out your narration makes it even better. Keep up the good work I’m looking forward to more of these videos
It'd be interesting if watching Paul's battle against Brandon and Brock returning to Kanto inspired Ash to return as well and challenge the battle frontier. This time traveling through the region that started it all, all by himself with everything he's learned
When I saw that Ash won against Paul in lake acuity I was sure he would lose in the league. (Better than him losing against Tobias though) Great job! I loved this video, can’t wait for Unova.
Pokemon anime just ban trade evolution, aside from some cases most pokemon who could only evolve trough trade will evolve naturally, that's why we have wild gengar and machamp
Like the other episodes I like Ash's new Sinnoh team. Sure I was slightly disappointed that ash didn't have torterra and gliscor but I'm glad he kept Infernape. I'm a bit bummed out that Ash lost to Paul but at least he still learned the lesson from ash like in the original timeline, now he actually got a victory that he could be proud of. On that note I kinda did wish you let Ash use his other pokemon from his previous journeys Because I would have loved to see Breloom, Primeape, Pegioto, heak make him used the beedrill that he never really used that he got from johto.

Nonono, Charizard will probably still have 2 megas. And Blastoise will have a normal mega, and a mega that gives him ICE type. So it can counter Charizard's DRAGON mega.
Love this series! Thank you for putting in thework to make these.
Ash losing to Paul in the Best 8, I didn’t see that coming.
Yeah, ouch for Ash
So I don't really think that it makes much sense to have Ash always get smacked around by his rivals when it matters most
I'm truly grateful for you making this but I can't say I'm hyped about ash's new team
I love how insanely different this team is from the usual
Ideas for Unova:
1. Ash's Snover sneaks in his bag and goes to Unova
Absolutely loved it, it has been a long time coming, can't wait for the next one 😀
Yesterday, I watched all of your What If Ash Woke Up On Time? series.
These are always great to see...I love the changes as always!
While I get the trouble it would've caused with the videos length, I really wish you would've made Ash utilize all his pokemon, both sinnoh and before, to see what a full powered Ash could do.
You know I'm beginning to notice a pattern in these videos Blastoise seems to have beef with every Gyarados in the series lol 😂
Ash MAY have a Mimikyu in this timeline
I love how in this series, all the bicycles are consistently safe.
Ash's next lesson should be "catch early and often" since he's had such a small team these last few times lol
Lol
At this point, I would feel let down if Misty is ever absent from a region
I have been waiting for so long. Your content is so awesome man. Hope you reach 100K soon, you deserve it
As of the Sinnoh adventure, here are the win ratios of Ash's Pokemon in this timeline (assumingly):
1. Kingler-80%
2. Charizard-75%
3. Blastoise & Quilava-71% (each)
4. Breloom & Infernape-70% (each)
5. Stantler-67%
6. Bayleef-64%
7. Snover-60%
8. Sceptile-53%
9. Heracross, Totodile, & Manectric-50% (each)
10. Luxray-48%
11. Primeape & Glailie-43% (each)
12. Buizel-42%
13. Torkoal-38%
14. Noctowl & Hippowdan-33% (each)
15. Pidgeotto & Bulbasaur-20% (each)
16. Muk, Tauros, & Beedrill-0% (each)
So i recently stumbled upon your content, and although my interest in the Pokemon franchise has been waning thanks to the recent games... some of my interest is at least being rekindled by your videos. Especially this 'what if' series has caught me by surprise.
The amount of work that must have gone into this must be huge, and with your calm soothing voice you really make it work out. Looking forward to see more from you. ^w^
*Pokemon he didn't get in this time line so far*
Pikachu (Of Course) ,Butterfry , second Pidgeot(Cause he Catches the First Pidgey), Squirtle(Squirtle Squad), 28 Tauros , Lapras, Snorlax, Donphan, Swellow, Corpish , Aipom, Staraptor,Torterra, Gliscor and Gible
*New Pokemon's in this Timeline*
Blastoise, Pidgeot (The First Pidgey), Primape(He Keeps it like he should of), Stantler, Beedrill, Breloom, Manectric,Luxray,Buneary (Which he trades) Hippowdon and Snover
Damn Torterra and Gible will be missed
Yup and at least he won't get 5 others either, 4 in Unova and 1 in Kalos.
Unova: Pignite and Oshawott due to no Team Rocket. Oshawott is involved with the initial Sandile plotline (So no Krookodile either) and Palpitoad.
Kalos: No Team Rocket means Ash's battle with Clemont won't get interrupted, meaning no Greninja, as Ash doesn't need to save it, because Garchomp doesn't go Berserk.
Thanks alot for continuing this series it's amazing
Couple things:
- Wow Hippopatas did not get a single win before it's evolution (at least none that were discussed in the video).
- Wait a minute that's not how Electivire evolves. The anime's been pretty consistent with trade evolutions. Still a very cool moment though.
- I'm kinda sad that you didn't incoperate Ash's older Pokemon like the original timeline but it makes sense in and out of universe (in universe cause why wouldn't Ash use a strat that won him the league and out of universe cause was really long and probably needed a much simpler league writing)
- Imagine people's reaction to Ash winning the Hoenn league then hitting bottom 4 in Sinnoh. It would be ugly.
- Sweet Misty's back...sort of. Sorry to see she lost so badly to Paul especially after apparently losing repeatedly to Brandon.
This was really good and I commend you for working so hard on it. Can't wait to see how Unova goes.
It's here, glad to be in Sinnoh. Always love this series
Ash never caught a flying type.
I liked how Misty is just officially a full fledged Pokemon Trainer instead of a gym leader
Loved this part. Your what ifs are great man
14:36 the way he just walks backwards killed me
Hell yes! I’ve been waiting for this.
Love this concept and so excited for the next installment. You put so much time and thought into these videos. It's so impressive. I would love to see more "what if..." scenarios.
“It’s been 3,000 years”
Just got to say, these videos a excellent. They are well thought out your narration makes it even better. Keep up the good work I’m looking forward to more of these videos
Finally sinnoh yay hell yeah thanks for everything dude
It'd be interesting if watching Paul's battle against Brandon and Brock returning to Kanto inspired Ash to return as well and challenge the battle frontier. This time traveling through the region that started it all, all by himself with everything he's learned
I knew it! Tobias did have a Magikarp, Sunkern, Caterpee and Feebas!
OH MY GOD I WAS WAITING FOR THIS FOR AGES THANKS SO MUCH
When I saw that Ash won against Paul in lake acuity I was sure he would lose in the league. (Better than him losing against Tobias though) Great job! I loved this video, can’t wait for Unova.
The sunny reference threw me entirely off guard! 😂 I’m loving this series
guess in this timeline, you don't need to trade Electabuzz holding an Electirizer for it to evolve lol.
its a great series so keep up the hard work
Pokemon anime just ban trade evolution, aside from some cases most pokemon who could only evolve trough trade will evolve naturally, that's why we have wild gengar and machamp
@@yuilinkmat9469 there are wild Gengar and Steelix in the games
I think Gamefreak themselves are little bit done with Trade evolutions, as the majority of them are available in the wild in Sword and Shield.
Thank you for continuing this series 😭👊🏾 I love it a lot especially since it takes my mind off the craziness called my life❤🔥🔥
MOTHERS DAY IS BEING LUCKY FOR ME!
Also can you do if ash woke up on time but in the games for every major battle
YES
Oh man i started watching the series yesterday and today he uploaded new part..damnnnnn
11:40
This had me laughing hysterically. Hillarious.
Bro I was fearing the worst... haven't heard from you in a long time
finally i was waiting for so long good videos
There needs to be more of these videos
