- This is it ladies and gents.... there is no other way to travel faster in Death Stranding unless they have jet packs in the later game (seriously though that would be AMAZING!). Using zip lines is the most cost-effective way to travel in the game. LMK what you think and leave a comment down below!

Same for me. I’ve only fast traveled once within the region. Fast traveled back to east a couple of times to get all connections to 5*
Zip lines are way to go just to get through timefall without issues

Yeah they are used for that but I just ignored the roads due too me trying to push through the game so I can discover more things to show off. The roads would take me days to build lol
Dude this is awesome! I’m still on episode 3 setting up the roads! 2:35 mark that’s literally how far I’ve gotten auto-paving the road 😂😂😂

You got me curious about this, I used a truck over the roads, turbo speed all the time, I got 2:32:00 flat from Distro south of Lake Knot City to Mama. But you got the point, I also installed the net of zip lines over the mountains, even from South Knot City to Chiral artist, Junk Dealer, Film Director, and Cosplayer. Good video!
Chiral bandwidth limits the amount you can set up. Gotta use them wisely. They only level up to 350 range on level 2. Haven't got one to level 3 yet.
Clark B. Ahhhh thank you for the clarification but I haven’t had a problem yet with bandwidth due to me increasing connection with the preppers
@@AndyMillz it's very limited in the eastern region. I went back and tried to get a zipline to every prepper. I had to be picky at first and had to pick between the musician or the wind farm. I got the musician to 5* then took down the ones going to him so I could go to the wind farm. I didn't have enough to make it to port city all the way to the west at all. In central region I'm just getting the mountain paths worked out now. I have to play the game slow because of my work. I will say this about Death Stranding, you get out what you put into the game. If you think it's just a weird game about delivering packages and monster energy product placement your not going to have fun with it.....I don't look at it like that. Its definatly a multi-layered Kojima game.
Clark B. Definitely multi layered game lol but once you go west you get so much bandwidth. I see what you mean though

How did you map it all out using everyone else’s zip lines tho? The ones in my world don’t work like this
I'm about to set up a whole network of these things. I did not realize they connected multiple times. Between this and the roads, it is a wrap for this game.
I mean it makes sense, grind through the beginning of the game and then it starts to open up. I was super excited when I realized it. Sadly won’t be able to play this weekend bc I’m going to NYC but lmk if you discover anything else.

Quicker by road, get building those roads much easier for cargo hauls as well
I would agree but getting roads built is the hassle. Worth in the long wrong but a very steep production/time cost
But how do you use the lv3 zip line's extra range? When you place them at 300m, and then upgrade,... how do you move them farther apart without having to disassemble them and rebuild them at lv1..
The only scenario i can picture is if you have 3 of them all in sight of each other and you upgrade the 2 most farther away and then remove the middle one so only the 2 left connect.
Hey bro i was just wondering did you know when you're in the stem or whatever it's called if you see other players body's and connect with them they help you when you fight the mini bt bosses ive just had a guy pop up out the blackwater and give me a gun haha it was soo cool

when your on a bike pop a wheelie and use that u go over ground much easier

DUDE ZIPLINES ARE BAE lol Its so much fun and once you set it up you never have to walk anywhere lol
If your chiral bandwidth gets used up you cant set anymore. They cost 500 each on that bandwidth.
Clark B. I haven’t had a problem if you just increase your connect with preppers. I have so much bandwidth is stupid right now.
For me, it ruins the immersion. Carrying 100-200 kg plus my own weight hanging just, on one hand, doesn't feel right to me. But yes for speed it is better.
I have a zip line for like 6 locations but my chiral network is full sadly
yeah the only way to increase bandwidth is by increasing connection level and maybe delete unused buildings
Also how did you get the level 3 speed of exoskeleton ?

AndyMillz I got the lvl 3 speed skeleton. A quick tip, the speed skeleton is very effective when your doing a BT boss fight. It literally saved my life by jumping to different obstacles and avoiding their attacks

A upgraded zip line gives you 350 meters and only costs 240 chemicals and 480 ceramics. I have a zipline network across the entire big map and it's awesome. Just watch your bandwidth.

Should I make zip lines or roads?
Early game i would make ziplines. When you have some downtime make the roads bc they are there for ease of transport not really speed. They are useful when you make them but require a lot of upfront construct material and time.
Zip lines are great but if no builds them, or put them in dumb places they are a waste of time
