The song is a billion times more powerful than a video.
Maynard is a huge Bikini Bandits fan. The video was completely his idea. There are about eight Bikini Bandits skits that he created to follow after the video. I used to have the DVD but an ex wife or ex girlfriend threw it away years ago.
Okay this might be one of the best alternative rock songs ever in history, what a chorus!

The beginning of this song is one of my favorites. I never get tired of it.
This video is a perfect encapuslation of its time, literally came out a month after Nipplegate. I hate how people have forgotten the distinctive parts of the mid 2000s already
Maynard stated, he wasn't too happy about that some of his audience "enjoys" his music, but doesn't get the message. He was absolutely right.
God I just love Maynard's voice. All I can do is hear those people say "They were right about you" but then Maynard sings it afterwards and it's like liquid heaven washing over me~ <:D

this video is legendary. i remember times when this was on mtv.
I saw Resident Evil Afterlife, and I had no idea they used The Outsider (remix) in their trailer. And The Outsider is my absolute favorite song by A Perfect Circle.
You don't see music videos like this anymore these days 😂
Maynard and crew make music so powerful, I apply it to my life and line it up with the videos in my head.
I bet filming this video was a lot of fun
