It's crazy how fast technology is developing in the past few decades...
REALLY, I thought the complete opposite, everything seems so slow to improve, with lots of shallow fake tech that offers nothing of any real substance.
You call that fast lol??? It's been dead slow since the 70's. We had people on the moon, Planes breaking incredible records that still stand to this day, huge advancements in technology... It's become so stagnant.
In those few decades humans became so stupid that they need their car to be smart so that humans don't need to drive. Unnecessary technologies like lane keep assist, ADAS etc makes humans look frickin lazy. This kinda tech promotes being unaware on road.
I think the real reason why it seems like there's very little innovation, is because there is a lot less to make now. That's why all of these small inovations are happening, because we have the majority of everything we can built, and are just trying to incrementally improve on what we have. I mean the INL (Idaho National Laboratory) almost has nuclear power plants that are portable, you just don't hear about it because it isn't consumer tech.
@@Macky4941 We already been to the moon in the 80's we already broke records in the 90's, until and unless we go to Mars or we build a plane that does not follow the rules of areo-dynamics we pretty much achieved the peak... Improvements can be made but not by a significant much... You cannot invent new things every year or decade you take the things you have now and build on it, like improve it make it efficient more eco friendly... That's how it works... according to our understanding of universe we have advanced in every field... When we do understand things we right now don't, we will create new inventions... So you are stupid to think we are technologically stagnant because all advancement came in the last century, humans have been roaming on earth for millions of years... So yeah technology in the last few decades has developed pretty fast.

I don’t hate electric cars, but I don’t like how ford slapped mustang on this just to push it to be sold
It was necessary to give it creditability and let people know they were dead ass about their electric car division
Mustang Mach-E drives like a fucking boat. Super soft suspension and horrible at higher speeds. But its also very heavy and you feel it extremely well, which makes for a bad driving experience when you combine heavy weight and boat suspension. The worst part of this car, is the fact that they called it a mustang..........
100% should have brought back an old model like that escort... and called it the E-Scort

Awwww man I remember reading that a mustang use to be a real horse. People back then whined and complained that mustangs should only be horses. Thank goodness we didn’t let that stop progress. I owned an 86 GT convertible and 95 GT. My dream car is a 67 fastback. I love the cars but I’m glad I’m not riding a horse to work!

Bruh!! One day you’ll be gone but the Mustang name will live on with its racing heritage.
Okay as a car enthusiast I still don't see this as a "mustang" it's a four door crossover and it's electric... Since 1964 when Ford created the Ford Mustang it's always been a two door sports car with character especially with the traditional V8. I know not a lot of people see or care about what we car nerds see or care about. But we love working on our cars it's a part of us, we like to be able to make it our own and be unique. But we're entering a new era and the new cars aren't looking as fun and lively as we love. Anyway it's a cool car for an electric car just don't call it a Mustang please idk why Ford made that move with the name I mean I'm sure they did as marketing strategy too, but a name carries so much history and tradition with it and this thing is completely different from a true Mustang.

@@ducati_red9162 It doesn't have as much horsepower power as the N/A Shelby GT350 / GT350R or GT500 but does have a ton of torque, almost as much torque as on the GT500 but I mean it's electric torque so...

The Mach-E GT only ever gets 5 consecutive seconds of full power, according to Ford. So, it's not really a performance car.

I am a classic enthusiast and as of Sept 30th I now am the very proud owner of the Mach E!
I rejected all Mustangs after 1972 especially the 80s and above!
All because the look not any other reason.
But we were looking for a EV and decided on the MACH E GT, but not performance version. Why? You may ask
Only diff I can see is Maglev shocks and 40 miles more range.
I 1 time for 2 seconds punched it (let me point out I had a BLAST 30 yrs ago when I got to ride a Shelby GT 500) this scared me. I knew what to expect but to appreciate 632ft lbs of torque with 480 hp 2 completely different views!
I had to change my shorts! It wanted to STAND & DELIVER!
I recommend 100%

@It’s me in what way is it better? its not a mustang, it handles worse, its not the quickest ford or even the fastest ford ever created, not the most powerful ford. Only thing thats better is 2 extra doors and another row of seats and has 0 emittions nothing else.
@@NICKCAMP04 I think that's why the video is titled "Quickest." It's not the most powerful in terms of horsepower, but it is the quickest from a specs perspective (0.3 seconds quicker) with more torque. For me, It's just a Mach-e since it doesn't look, feel, or sound like a Mustang, but I still love it!
Yes its a good ford buy not a mustang. But its not much quicker than a gt500 nor is it faster by top speed or handles as good as a mustang

@@jaycorbin5361 yeah but I think the main criticism is that it's still not a mustang. Even if this had a V8 option it's still a crossover. Too tall and had too many doors. It's more like an Escape. I can't wait for them to make the real mustang electric

@@Edog554 Actually it's far better at handling because the batteries are at the bottom of the car giving it something called "a low center of gravity" which not only makes it better handling than a Mustang that has a really high center of gravity because ICE engines are huge and inefficient, but also prevents it from rolling over, which would be bad.

I’d rather have the all wheel drive 1400 horsepower E mustang , now that things sick , it’s so fast that it can keep up with nascar cars at over 200 mph & run on a drag strip as well . The video for it is out there go check it out .
