This line-up of The Waterboys is incomparable - absolutely stacked with virtuoso talent from Steve Wickham on fiddle through to the amazing Bro Paul Brown on keyboards, David Hood on bass and the list goes on. Simply extraordinary, and a sublime tribute to the genius of Prince.

Heard he pretty recently left the group maybe to slow it down or do something else saw him at the Hardly strictly bluegrass festival in SF & The Waterboys were the best band there and as a group of musicians that festival in 2019 had some of the best fiddlers I've ever seen but Steve Wickham was the best. There was a female fiddler with hair dyed white who played with Robert Plant and she was excellent almost as good as Steve Wickham 🎉❤❤😊
I'm sure Steve Wickham will be back in the band at some point, he's already left two or three times... I think the only performer who nails this 'fuzz fiddle' sound as well as Steve Wickham is Warren Ellis from Nick Cave's band The Bad Seeds.
