This is the type of music conjured up by a band that speaks to the soul. To all the people on this planet feeling down & out, hurt, pain & loss, and whatever else that ails 'em. So raise your pint, glass, bottle or cup 'cause we're toasting to everyone in the struggle. Cheers!
im so happy to see another who is both a Scott and McAloon admirer! I’d throw Joe Jackson in there, too, but that’s just me. Need to check out Blue Nile. Lloyd Cole is also an underrated songwriter, you like him?
I've been a Waterboys fan going back to the mid `'80's when I first heard them. They were great then and only keep getting better, even with the changes to the band along the way. This concert is an EXCELLENT, an example of just how good they continue to be. Mike Scott is just brilliant.
Me pasa con este grupo como con Bob seger y con Bruce sprinteen joder creo que fueron mejores que u2 pero no se le reconoció fueron más originales y más auténticos

In love with Mike and his boys since my teens in the 80s. I hear a lot of different musical styles, and can spend months without listening to them, but everytime I put a song playing, it always hits like the first time! So glad they are still playing!
Still incredible - followed Mike & The Waterboys from 80s always a real pleasure to hear & see them just fantastic, brilliant musicians showing just how great the world can be 🎶🙌💖
We miss Steve so much but he is off doing his own thing and who wants to do the same thing all there life. All the best SW, look corw9to you teaming up with Mike again at some point in the future. ❤
m@@oscarherraezcortes5312I love them in my Top 5 from the 80s until now. PJ are very good too, Red House Painters paired with WB, I have 14 albums of WB, but...if ever Pink Floyd do something together again they gonna be the best. Have a nice day
Saludos
Did you know? Over 85 musicians have performed live as a Waterboy. Some have spent only a short time with the band, contributing to a single tour or album, while others have been long-term members with significant contributions. Scott has stated that "We’ve had more members I believe than any other band in rock history" and believes that the nearest challengers are Santana and The Fall.
A lot of comments asking ‘where’s Steve?’ Guess what folks… he left 2 years ago! CoVid was a cruel bad time for bands. No one could play. Things were shut down. Remember? And people made some hard changes during that time… like Steve Wickham… who decided it’s time to move on. And even Mr Scott has changed. His songs have a different feel to them as he ages… like fine wine or a good cheese…. But see us dedicates Waterboys fans knew this… two years ago. We cried then.. and accepted the change. You part time Waterboys fans who didn’t know he’s gone should pay better attention to one of the best acts around. Cheers

One of the most underrated bands ever, Mike Scott is an absolute genius ❤❤❤❤
Impresionante concierto. Músicos de verdad con talento.
The Waterboys, Prefab Sprout, The Blue Nile in these bands were three of the greatest British songwriters of all time. Lucky us:)
im so happy to see another who is both a Scott and McAloon admirer! I’d throw Joe Jackson in there, too, but that’s just me. Need to check out Blue Nile. Lloyd Cole is also an underrated songwriter, you like him?
Agree, they are unique ❤

Blew my mind when I listened to them for the fist time in the 80s and still do to this day. Greetings from Mexico.

I heard you when I saw "The Affair". Your band is soooo good. Mixture of all the good sounds.
Valencia os ama !!!!
They're coming to Cardiff in May 2025 and I can't wait!🌞
I’m moving from Bilbao to Brighton in May 2025 and I’m also looking forward to it!
I first saw them a Glastonbury in 1984 and didn't like them. Rediscovered last year. Can't believe what I've missed. Great songwriter and performer.

He left early last year.
I'd be disappointed if I went to see The Waterboys and they had no fiddle player.
Son superfan de Waterboys y Mike Scott, increibles canciones pero no se que pintan en un festival de Jazz. ¡Que manía de mezclar todo sin sentido!
Could be even better withe Steve
Sad to see us all age like this. Great Muscians paying the worst. Still waiting on the generation with some talent to cone along.
