I think the way they portrayed George Washington in this game is so interesting. They show that he is a great man with integrity whom his men would give there lives to. But at the same time they show that he is not at all perfect, and he made horrible mistakes that made many people hate him. In this case one of those people was Connor

At least Altair expanded the Assassins throughout the globe, and had some closure. Ezio on the other hand died peacefully after enjoying a peaceful retirement. But poor Connor fought and fought all for naught, along the way being betrayed, and forced to kill people he held dear.

That said, it wasn't all that accurate. Major Andre wouldn't have been wearing his uniform, if he HAD been he wouldn't have been hanged. On top of that, Washington did not choose to hang him, congress did. And this certainly wasn't how Arnold was uncovered, it was when they found out who Andre really was that they figured it out, and Arnold then escaped.
They should stop with these DLC's and make them part of the original game. By doing this the whole game becomes fragmented. Esspecially such a historical important event as this one. Plus I find it ridiculous that sometimes you have to pay 20 dollars for 3 hours gameplay.
But then they wouldn't get more money, as what DLC is for. Adding DLC to the regular game initially benefits nobody but the consumer, and each business does what it can to get the most amount of money from something without overly being a complete ass to the consumer.

I did them as well. I always do the side missions before the main ones so that I don't miss anything interesting. Connor is more likeable too, in those missions.
At this point, Connor has already contributed so much for Washington and the war. They probably treat him as an ally at this point. The fact that you can walk into liberated forts without being attacked is the proof, of course, unless you attack first.

I find it utterly amazing in this game how the soldiers can never hear all that "rustling" in the bushes. Especially the officers, I would expect they would be more observant. Like General Arnold, he's a good example. All that rustling behind him and he doesn't even turn around or check it out, especially given the importance of what he was doing. Stupid.
