Tuck tape is $$$
You bring up a good point- the tape on top doesn’t need to be tuck tape though. Any high adhesive tape will do the trick. The takeaway point is to use a safe/floor friendly tape underneath, then the heavy duty stuff on top (where you wont risk damaging the floor below) 👍
