Would it be overkill to lay down a layer of plastic underneath x-board where foot traffic will be heavier? With the wet season in full-swing, I thought this might be a good idea. But if it doesn’t allow the underlayment to breathe, I’m thinking it might be problematic?
This looks like it doesn't roll back up like ram board when laying it down. Have you used ramboard? I like the protection but its a pain to get to keep it from rolling up when installing.
not sure I have never used them. we find that the x board give you a food light wiegth protection. I'm sure there are many other brands and product that work just as well.
