I have a feeling that it's gonna succeed. Toei and Shueshia were confident enough to end DBS for this movie (and Kitaro) and Toriyama seems pretty confident in the script, as well as all the cast members. As far as the integration of Minus goes, if they expound upon it, give it more depth and still show Bardock's rebellion (side note: The events of Minus *do not* erase the rebellion from canon. The events take place one whole month before Frieza actually destroys Planet Vegeta, so realistically, unless Toriyama plans on getting rid of that too, the rebellion still happens.), it could win a ton of fans over, showing off a badass Bardock in Minus's style. If they do that, and make Broly a really interesting character, this movie will be a hit.
That's what I was thinking, too. the small manga chapter doesn't have to get rid of a lot of the story from the original. Bardock could still be just like he is in the special... but just has a soft spot for Gine. Maybe that line "You have rubbed off on me" is something that is far more dramatic. He could still have the same standoff against Frieza... Hell, for all we know, Gine has been stalling Kakarot's departure to Earth... and that's why they chose Earth (that's where he was set to go off to) A lot of what people liked about the special could still be used and I am hoping they at least take the special into consideration. I might be reading too much into it, but I will find out when the movie drops (I am trying to completely avoid spoilers!)

I'd honestly adore the idea of Broly turning good, and RaditZ and/or Bardock being ressurected. The movie is all about saiyans, after all, itd be amazing to see bardock and raditz introduced to a peaceful saiyan life by being shown the Universe 6 saiyans xx

Mind if I toss in a theory! I don’t think Broly is actually working for Freeza. I think Freeza’s scouts find Broly and Parigus, Freeza comes to fight Broly and make him submit to his power, Freeza loses and is beaten an inch within his life, Broly and Parigus steal his ship and army and go to earth to Goku and Vegeta “in the name of Lord Freeza.”
I'm both excited and a bit nervous regarding the new broly movie. yes I'm really hyped that Broly's getting a whole revamp and is going to be canon, but I'm also really hoping that Toriyama has Broly's personality and motives fully fleshed out and that the movie lives up to the hype surrounding it. I'm a long time dragon ball fan (among other things) so seeing a fresh take on an old fan favorite might be a good thing.

I think part of the mixed reception for Minus, outside of retconning the special, may have been because it made Goku's backstory out to be like a Superman reference. Which is ironic, since for the DBZ dub Toriyama was critical about how they portrayed Goku as being this Superman, thanks to that little speech, like figure instead of how he envisioned the character

My head canon to square away the differences is that Bardock only pretended to care about his son Kakarot because his bootycall Gine did. Gotta keep up appearances of caring so she'll keep popping out potential strong offspring.

Masako, something I may be wrong about but I just realized. The way the trailer is, it looks as if King Cold is gifting the Saiyans to his son. His much "younger" son. What I'm getting at is, I'm not sure on Frieza's age, but it looks as if he's a spoiled child (albeit extremely powerful since he's been that strong since he was born.) that Daddy looks to groom by giving him his first serious conquest so to speak in the Saiyans and make sure they are obedient to Cold's forces (before it later became the Frieza Force.). Even when Frieza meets the Saiyans, as it looks in the trailer, he automatically calls them monkeys like a brat. Not the older, more patient yet kills at a whim Frieza, but more like a child. He even doesn't wear any armor. Plus his laughter when he's throwing the death ball at the planet looks childish. I'm just trying to open a discussion about maybe Frieza is much closer to Vegeta and Goku's ages than we thought, which would be extremely interesting. What do you think?

Masako Do you remember what if raditz turned good from up to the Android/cell saga and buu saga. If so I would like to confess a plot that would make sense. Is that I think the power gap between Raditz and Goku would have been equal or even greater than Goku's due to the reason that Raditz still has his tail. This may not seem important to decide who's stronger but ever since the saiyan saga had started, Raditz and Vegeta were concerned about Goku's tail being completely removed not only is it a sign of him being a saiyan, but it was the key to unlock a saiyan's true potential. To support this answer, in Gt Vegeta had said that the ssj4 transformation was the true potential of a saiyan needing their tails so significant if they wanted to even master the form without any strain whatsoever. But my point is that since Raditz still has his tail, he could've asked Goku to teach him how to turn ssj3, thus leading him to transform into ssj3 without any loss of stamina. This also means that it changes who is the top-dog in this scenario since Raditz is able to turn into any grade or form of super saiyan without any loss of stamina. Surprised no me has suggested a super powered Krillin what if, be it “what if Krillin wished himself to be a Saiyan” or “what if Krillin wished for immortality” that let him use the kaio ken times infinity after learning it. Or any other mechanism that would put Krillin in the Saiyan & Piccolo tier of fighters.
I'm hoping the movie will be good, since this WILL change everything about the events in U7, and has the chance to really redeem a character that otherwise wouldn't be taken seriously in terms of motivation. I do hope though that Broly won't just be offed in the movie, and has a chance to be a somewhat recurring character. Also, if DB continues with the Super title, or some other title, I hope the Broly movie doesn't just get a rehash arc in the same way that BoG and RoF did (and if it does, I'd hope that it'd be done with better pacing instead of dragging out certain moments), but again having Broly survive the movie can allow for future interactions with the U6 saiyans, like having Broly and Kale interact
Note this isn't spoliers, or leaks, it's what I think will happen: The movie opens to the last Tuffles being executed on Planet Vegeta during the executions, the Saiyans see ships and massive power levels coming to the planet Frieza and King Cold tell the Saiyans they work for them now. Fade to the present Goku is chatting with Beerus and Whis about how Goku can't stay at this level, he wants to get stronger. we have some chatting between the Z Fighters and friends (Goku, Vegeta, Chi-Chi, Bulma Krillian ect ect, also as to how this happens, maybe they were on a mountain vacation?) then a huge power level is coming in, Goku and friends get serious Yamcha is sent to get any senzu beans that Korin and Yajirobe can spare Krillian, Tien, and 18 escort non fighters out of the area goten and Trunks want t watch, after some fighting between Chi-Chi, goten, Trunks, and Bulma, Bulma stays with them at a safe distance A ship is seen coming in it lands Broly, Paragus, and their pawns come out Piccolo, and Gohan watch from the sidelines Piccolo looks in fear as the figure still looking like a shadow walks out, before he is revealed, the screen goes over to korins tower, Yamcha gets the Senzu Beans, giving us a cameo of Korin and Yajirobe it goes back over to Goku's location when Broly is finally revealed, we get the thoughts in Broly's head upon seeing two Saiyans, who betrayed him and his father, we get Broly's pod zooming not to far by Frieza, who is too fixed on Planet Vegeta and Bardock to notice, then we get the infamous part where Frieza kills Bardock, and his forces, and blows up planet Vegeta, killing most of the Saiyans, but, before we get that scene, we see Bardock, and Gine saying by to Goku, just Minutes before Bardock confronts frieza. Then we see Vegeta and Raditz wiping out a Planet together after that Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa bow down to the one they don't know just destroyed their planet Frieza tells them Meteors hit Planet Vegeta the Three Saiyans are in shock we get Broly surviving by his self for years, until when he was between 6-10, Paragus finally finds him after all these years we get to see more Goku and Grandpa Gohan moments when we get back to present day, Broly is boiling with anger as he walks out, Paragus then yells "DO IT BROLY" Broly yells to power up and Broly rushes Vegeta and Goku Yamcha gives them the senzu beans, then gets out of there we get awesome fighting scenes some where in there, Gohan and Piccolo power up and jump in, they get rekt, but provide enough time for Goku and Vegeta to power up to Blue, and Launch a Kamehameha and a finale flash to Broly's sides even in blue Goku and Vegeta have a hard time, goku gets knocked out and needs a senzu, Vegeta is taking a pounding, then Frieza arrives we get Finale Form Frieza vs Broly while Goku and Vegeta licks their wounds (Figure of speech they don't do this) Finale Form Frieza takes a beating, then goes Golden, Broly has a slight edge, and after a very long fight, Knocks Frieza out of the fight, Vegeta goes into Mastered SSB, and Goku in UI, we get more awesome Goku and Vegeta fighting Broly at the same time (Note at this point all other major forms have been used, even the first time Vegeta Super Saiyan 3 and God, and somewhere during them in SS2 they get a beating, and Goten and trunks fuse and go SS3 and fight Broly for a bit and it's all very cool fan service, also note somewhere in the mess thqat I rushed through, Goku does SSB Kaio-Ken x10) Even with MSSB Vegeta, and UI Goku their efforts fail, so a beaten up goku goes MUI, MSSB Vegeta and MUI Goku fight Broly at the same time, they have the edge, but slowly loose it, as Broly bounces back Broly getting a Zenkai boost, powers up, and beats back Goku and Vegeta, the view goes to Knocked out Fireza, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten, then You har goku and Vegeta screaming "FUUU-SION-HAAAA" we get SSB Gogeta, Gogeta rushes Broly and is finally able to somewhat keep up, Broly gets another Zenkai boost after getting knocked out and almost killed, forces Paragus to realize the power of the senzu beans and give Broly one, with Broly even stronger, we get SSB Gogeta not able to keep up, so after even more fighting, Gogeta goes UI and slowly gains the edge, until Broly is knocked out, now depending on which route the next movie will go Paragus Mentions the next villian like Cooler or something, while Gogeta lands the finale blow to Broly, and Paragus escapes, or Gogeta defuses before he gets the finale blow in and Broly and Paragus escape. I say again this is not a Spoiler/leak/confirmed in any way, just the direction I would go in, if I made this myself, also I think Jaco and stuff may be mentioned, but typing minor stuff like that is a waste of time in my opinion.
I always assumed Toriyama forgot about the Bardock special. The good news is that the movie can make more adjustmemts to Minus or give Broly and Paragus more depth to their movitations at least.
You know, this could be the first movie Fox under Disney will release in theaters. if it does surprisingly well, remember, Disney now has the rights Live action and Theatrical release for Dragon Ball
I still want, after a good chunk of yelling, punching and learning more about each other, for Broly to give one big, raging "KAKAROOOT!", having heard Vegeta say it enough times.
I'll say this: It's the first one in a while I'm excited about. The first two "Super" films (I know they were technically DBZ) didnt really get me that excited. Sure, Battle of gods hyped me up that Dragon Ball was back, but their art style and story-telling left me feeling like they both could've just been hour long TV specials. This looks like a _movie_ . A full on film with a thought out plot and characters that have actual purpose. Yes, I'm bummed the Bardock special is no longer cannon, but I'm definitely interested in this. The only thing that worries me about this movie is the superman origin story. I think having Goku sent to earth for his safety instead of having him sent there to destroy it, takes away from his character a bit. Regardless I'm excited to see how this plays out. Not to mention the new art style looks far more interesting and fluid than the stiff, plastic art style we've been getting with super.
Here's my issue with the Minus story line, the saiyans SHOULD have had plenty of pods for both of Goku's parents, now if you wanna say they only sent Goku because his power level was so low he wouldn't be picked up that's one thing but I mean would it really have hurt to try sending the pods out in different directions to try and escape?
Minus is an example of how the author doesn't always know best for their own work. Broly is a case yet to be seen, but he may be a case for the opposite argument.
Unless I missed a trailer...doesn't it seem that Broly is sporting Cooler's Top Henchman Salza's colors (Green & Purple underclothes)? I saw the trailer where Frieza Vs. Broly was kind of highlighted (but I didn't see one where Frieza is interacting with him in some other fashion than a fight) and in the "Origin of the Saiyan's Trailer" it seems that King Vegeta & Co. are sporting the traditional armor we've been used to. Why would Broly's be different? I think it would be an interesting twist to toss Cooler in as recruiting the exiled saiyan (relating to him as an exile himself) and using him to remove Frieza. (Maybe a potential What-if? haha)
Hope we get a extended 1 hour uncut blu ray version of this movie like battle of gods if this comes out I will be first in line for amazon.co.uk re-order so 😎
I don't know if the movie will be good or not(besides the visuals at least, those are definitely gonna be good) but I'd be shocked if it didn't do well financially.
In all honesty, I didn't really think the idea of bringing back frieza with a new form was a good idea after battle of gods. But I felt a movie with better development and the return of the villain who'd really messed with way more people's lives on a personal level and the frieza force vs. z fighters fight would spice it up. I loved it. To me this is just them trying that again but with Broly, making a passable villain now canon, a ton of retconing...I'll watch it, I'm not buying the dvd when it's released like I did with battle of gods and ressurection F. A movie about Beerus' backstory and where he came from and whatnot or both the brothers (so champa too) that'd be like a "something is coming to bite you in the ass" that requires assistance of ultra instinct goku and more, etc, is the only logical place i can see the series going without just being redundant or retreading.
I feel like Akira really looks at his work on dragon ball and Dbz and now just regrets a few things. I think he really wanted to give the show a full reboot. A start over. But he knew the backlash would destroy him and now just sticks to this lore building.
How to please the Bardock special fans and keep the stuff from Minus? Bardock's future vision. Bardock seeing Freeza blow up Planet Vegeta and seeing his son fight Freeza in the future will give a reason to send Goku to Earth.
Every time I see the new Paragas, I think of Buzz Lightyear (cause of the armor). It's white, green and purple - Like Buzz. I can't stop connecting the colors of the armor to the Space Ranger of Toy Story.
I think in the Broly movie that they might save broly saying Kakarot for one big moment and that’s the only time he’ll scream it. Like maybe something will happen and he’ll scream kakarot whilst transforming into legendary ssj. In my opinion I think this would be a good homage to the og broly movie and it wouldn’t just be broly being a mindless dolt.
I really do hope Masakox makes another video about krilllin. He's my favorite character in the series. Anyone's opinion reading this, what techniques should krillin learn to be a better fighter? For me,(Kaio-ken,Evil Containment wave, and instant transmission.)
Way off topic but... Anybody else notice the similarities in appearance to Android 13 and Android 20 AKA Dr. Gero. Almost as if Android 13 was meant to be the perfect vessel for Dr. Gero mind but was destroyed before he could make the transference.
Fans were hyped ever since the first trailer with the brand-new animation style. Even people like me who dislike Broly are overjoyed at the high quality of the energetic, bouncy animation that perfectly matches Dragon Ball's spirit. I'd say the success of the film will rely on how much Toei goes ham with the advertising to get the word out.

Masako, something I may be wrong about but I just realized. The way the trailer is, it looks as if King Cold is gifting the Saiyans to his son. His much "younger" son. What I'm getting at is, I'm not sure on Frieza's age, but it looks as if he's a spoiled child (albeit extremely powerful since he's been that strong since he was born.) that Daddy looks to groom by giving him his first serious conquest so to speak in the Saiyans and make sure they are obedient to Cold's forces (before it later became the Frieza Force.). Even when Frieza meets the Saiyans, as it looks in the trailer, he automatically calls them monkeys like a brat. Not the older, more patient yet kills at a whim Frieza, but more like a child. He even doesn't wear any armor. Plus his laughter when he's throwing the death ball at the planet looks childish. I'm just trying to open a discussion about maybe Frieza is much closer to Vegeta and Goku's ages than we thought, which would be extremely interesting. What do you think?

Masako Do you remember what if raditz turned good from up to the Android/cell saga and buu saga. If so I would like to confess a plot that would make sense. Is that I think the power gap between Raditz and Goku would have been equal or even greater than Goku's due to the reason that Raditz still has his tail. This may not seem important to decide who's stronger but ever since the saiyan saga had started, Raditz and Vegeta were concerned about Goku's tail being completely removed not only is it a sign of him being a saiyan, but it was the key to unlock a saiyan's true potential. To support this answer, in Gt Vegeta had said that the ssj4 transformation was the true potential of a saiyan needing their tails so significant if they wanted to even master the form without any strain whatsoever. But my point is that since Raditz still has his tail, he could've asked Goku to teach him how to turn ssj3, thus leading him to transform into ssj3 without any loss of stamina. This also means that it changes who is the top-dog in this scenario since Raditz is able to turn into any grade or form of super saiyan without any loss of stamina. Surprised no me has suggested a super powered Krillin what if, be it “what if Krillin wished himself to be a Saiyan” or “what if Krillin wished for immortality” that let him use the kaio ken times infinity after learning it. Or any other mechanism that would put Krillin in the Saiyan & Piccolo tier of fighters.
I'm hoping the movie will be good, since this WILL change everything about the events in U7, and has the chance to really redeem a character that otherwise wouldn't be taken seriously in terms of motivation. I do hope though that Broly won't just be offed in the movie, and has a chance to be a somewhat recurring character. Also, if DB continues with the Super title, or some other title, I hope the Broly movie doesn't just get a rehash arc in the same way that BoG and RoF did (and if it does, I'd hope that it'd be done with better pacing instead of dragging out certain moments), but again having Broly survive the movie can allow for future interactions with the U6 saiyans, like having Broly and Kale interact
Note this isn't spoliers, or leaks, it's what I think will happen:
The movie opens to the last Tuffles being executed on Planet Vegeta
during the executions, the Saiyans see ships and massive power levels
coming to the planet
Frieza and King Cold tell the Saiyans they work for them now.
Fade to the present
Goku is chatting with Beerus and Whis about how Goku can't stay at this
level, he wants to get stronger.
we have some chatting between the Z Fighters and friends (Goku, Vegeta,
Chi-Chi, Bulma Krillian ect ect, also as to how this happens, maybe they
were on a mountain vacation?)
then a huge power level is coming in, Goku and friends get serious
Yamcha is sent to get any senzu beans that Korin and Yajirobe can spare
Krillian, Tien, and 18 escort non fighters out of the area
goten and Trunks want t watch, after some fighting between Chi-Chi,
goten, Trunks, and Bulma, Bulma stays with them at a safe distance
A ship is seen coming in
it lands
Broly, Paragus, and their pawns come out
Piccolo, and Gohan watch from the sidelines
Piccolo looks in fear as the figure still looking like a shadow walks
out, before he is revealed, the screen goes over to korins tower, Yamcha
gets the Senzu Beans, giving us a cameo of Korin and Yajirobe
it goes back over to Goku's location when Broly is finally revealed, we
get the thoughts in Broly's head upon seeing two Saiyans,
who betrayed him and his father, we get Broly's pod zooming not to far
by Frieza, who is too fixed on Planet Vegeta and Bardock to notice, then
we get the infamous part where Frieza kills Bardock, and his forces,
and blows up planet Vegeta, killing most of the Saiyans, but, before we
get that scene, we see Bardock, and Gine saying by to Goku, just Minutes
before Bardock confronts frieza.
Then we see Vegeta and Raditz wiping out a Planet together
after that Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa bow down to the one they don't know
just destroyed their planet
Frieza tells them Meteors hit Planet Vegeta
the Three Saiyans are in shock
we get Broly surviving by his self for years, until when he was between
6-10, Paragus finally finds him after all these years
we get to see more Goku and Grandpa Gohan moments
when we get back to present day, Broly is boiling with anger as he walks
out, Paragus then yells "DO IT BROLY" Broly yells to power up and Broly
rushes Vegeta and Goku
Yamcha gives them the senzu beans, then gets out of there
we get awesome fighting scenes some where in there, Gohan and Piccolo
power up and jump in, they get rekt, but provide enough time for Goku
and Vegeta to power up to Blue, and Launch a Kamehameha and a finale
flash to Broly's sides
even in blue Goku and Vegeta have a hard time, goku gets knocked out and
needs a senzu, Vegeta is taking a pounding, then Frieza arrives
we get Finale Form Frieza vs Broly while Goku and Vegeta licks their
wounds (Figure of speech they don't do this)
Finale Form Frieza takes a beating, then goes Golden, Broly has a slight
edge, and after a very long fight, Knocks Frieza out of the fight,
Vegeta goes into Mastered SSB, and Goku in UI, we get more awesome Goku
and Vegeta fighting Broly at the same time
(Note at this point all other major forms have been used, even the first
time Vegeta Super Saiyan 3 and God, and somewhere during them in SS2
they get a beating, and Goten and trunks fuse and go SS3 and fight Broly
for a bit and it's all very cool fan service, also note somewhere in
the mess thqat I rushed through, Goku does SSB Kaio-Ken x10)
Even with MSSB Vegeta, and UI Goku their efforts fail, so a beaten up
goku goes MUI, MSSB Vegeta and MUI Goku fight Broly at the same time,
they have the edge, but slowly loose it, as Broly bounces back Broly
getting a Zenkai boost, powers up, and beats back Goku and Vegeta, the
view goes to Knocked out Fireza, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten, then
You har goku and Vegeta screaming "FUUU-SION-HAAAA" we get SSB Gogeta,
Gogeta rushes Broly and is finally able to somewhat keep up, Broly gets
another Zenkai boost after getting knocked out and almost killed, forces
Paragus to realize the power of the senzu beans and give Broly one,
with Broly even stronger, we get SSB Gogeta not able to keep up, so
after even more fighting, Gogeta goes UI
and slowly gains the edge, until Broly is knocked out, now depending on
which route the next movie will go Paragus Mentions the next villian
like Cooler or something, while Gogeta lands the finale blow to Broly,
and Paragus escapes, or Gogeta defuses before he gets the finale blow in
and Broly and Paragus escape. I say again this is not a
Spoiler/leak/confirmed in any way, just the direction I would go in, if I
made this myself, also I think Jaco and stuff may be mentioned, but
typing minor stuff like that is a waste of time in my opinion.

Dude, the saiyans took Vegeta from them way before that.

I always assumed Toriyama forgot about the Bardock special. The good news is that the movie can make more adjustmemts to Minus or give Broly and Paragus more depth to their movitations at least.

You know, this could be the first movie Fox under Disney will release in theaters. if it does surprisingly well, remember, Disney now has the rights Live action and Theatrical release for Dragon Ball
I still want, after a good chunk of yelling, punching and learning more about each other, for Broly to give one big, raging "KAKAROOOT!", having heard Vegeta say it enough times.

I'm really hoping that Toriyama retcons his retcon to further develop upon said retcon.
I'll say this: It's the first one in a while I'm excited about. The first two "Super" films (I know they were technically DBZ) didnt really get me that excited. Sure, Battle of gods hyped me up that Dragon Ball was back, but their art style and story-telling left me feeling like they both could've just been hour long TV specials. This looks like a _movie_ . A full on film with a thought out plot and characters that have actual purpose. Yes, I'm bummed the Bardock special is no longer cannon, but I'm definitely interested in this. The only thing that worries me about this movie is the superman origin story. I think having Goku sent to earth for his safety instead of having him sent there to destroy it, takes away from his character a bit. Regardless I'm excited to see how this plays out. Not to mention the new art style looks far more interesting and fluid than the stiff, plastic art style we've been getting with super.
In Brazil the movie is going coming out in january.
Here's my issue with the Minus story line, the saiyans SHOULD have had plenty of pods for both of Goku's parents, now if you wanna say they only sent Goku because his power level was so low he wouldn't be picked up that's one thing but I mean would it really have hurt to try sending the pods out in different directions to try and escape?
Minus is an example of how the author doesn't always know best for their own work.
Broly is a case yet to be seen, but he may be a case for the opposite argument.
Unless I missed a trailer...doesn't it seem that Broly is sporting Cooler's Top Henchman Salza's colors (Green & Purple underclothes)? I saw the trailer where Frieza Vs. Broly was kind of highlighted (but I didn't see one where Frieza is interacting with him in some other fashion than a fight) and in the "Origin of the Saiyan's Trailer" it seems that King Vegeta & Co. are sporting the traditional armor we've been used to. Why would Broly's be different? I think it would be an interesting twist to toss Cooler in as recruiting the exiled saiyan (relating to him as an exile himself) and using him to remove Frieza. (Maybe a potential What-if? haha)

I don't know if the movie will be good or not(besides the visuals at least, those are definitely gonna be good) but I'd be shocked if it didn't do well financially.

In all honesty, I didn't really think the idea of bringing back frieza with a new form was a good idea after battle of gods. But I felt a movie with better development and the return of the villain who'd really messed with way more people's lives on a personal level and the frieza force vs. z fighters fight would spice it up. I loved it. To me this is just them trying that again but with Broly, making a passable villain now canon, a ton of retconing...I'll watch it, I'm not buying the dvd when it's released like I did with battle of gods and ressurection F. A movie about Beerus' backstory and where he came from and whatnot or both the brothers (so champa too) that'd be like a "something is coming to bite you in the ass" that requires assistance of ultra instinct goku and more, etc, is the only logical place i can see the series going without just being redundant or retreading.
I feel like Akira really looks at his work on dragon ball and Dbz and now just regrets a few things. I think he really wanted to give the show a full reboot. A start over. But he knew the backlash would destroy him and now just sticks to this lore building.
THREE HOURS? The last Anime movie that did that was The disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. And are they pulling a Harry Potter Deadly Hollows on us?

Bardock seeing Freeza blow up Planet Vegeta and seeing his son fight Freeza in the future will give a reason to send Goku to Earth.

Every time I see the new Paragas, I think of Buzz Lightyear (cause of the armor). It's white, green and purple - Like Buzz. I can't stop connecting the colors of the armor to the Space Ranger of Toy Story.

I think in the Broly movie that they might save broly saying Kakarot for one big moment and that’s the only time he’ll scream it. Like maybe something will happen and he’ll scream kakarot whilst transforming into legendary ssj. In my opinion I think this would be a good homage to the og broly movie and it wouldn’t just be broly being a mindless dolt.
I really do hope Masakox makes another video about krilllin. He's my favorite character in the series. Anyone's opinion reading this, what techniques should krillin learn to be a better fighter? For me,(Kaio-ken,Evil Containment wave, and instant transmission.)
Way off topic but... Anybody else notice the similarities in appearance to Android 13 and Android 20 AKA Dr. Gero. Almost as if Android 13 was meant to be the perfect vessel for Dr. Gero mind but was destroyed before he could make the transference.
Fans were hyped ever since the first trailer with the brand-new animation style. Even people like me who dislike Broly are overjoyed at the high quality of the energetic, bouncy animation that perfectly matches Dragon Ball's spirit. I'd say the success of the film will rely on how much Toei goes ham with the advertising to get the word out.
I think the only thing I don't like about new Broly, is his design, I genuinley prefer the old ones design because of how Unique it looks.
If this movie becomes successful, then Yes! I want Dragon Ball Super to return on TV next year.
