I think the name "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" does a good job demonstrating how much thought was put into the transformation, which is to say not much.
I 100% agree with you. SSB should be built up to when they fight a stronger opponent to show how serious they are. The way it's built up when Goku fights Jiren and Broly were both great I'd wish they'd do that more
Jim Fine that’s probably when they fixed the issue. It wouldn’t surprise me that they thought it was lackluster in RoF so they tried fixing it in the ToP and Broly movie. The problem was that they just chucked ‘huge opponents’ arc after arc so they would have no choice but to go all out from the beginning. Jiren was a different case because Goku didn’t know how strong h was and needed to save his energy. And Broly just kept getting stronger - thus he needed to boost himself as well.
One of the things the manga does so much better. For instance, the technique of using SSG for a heavy opponents, and intermittently switching on the blue for a brief augmentation in speed and strength, but not holding it constantly because it would be too big of a drain on energy
@@briang3598 which doesn't make much sense because one of the special things about Blue is supposed to be that it is a form focused on control over the God Ki, it's not supposed to run out quickly or anything like that.
The issue with these form changes, and with DBZ in general, is that after a certain point they stopped trying to SHOW us how powerful these characters are, and they had to start TELLING us. SS Blue LOOKS just as strong as classic SS, but we're TOLD it's stronger. This is why I'm a little more OK with Ultra Instinct, because it fundamentally changes the way Goku fights and thus really stands out as unique. It's not just "New hair color = More powerful."
In addition to everything you've said, I think a big problem is that it came right after BoG. We only saw Super Saiyan God (which we all loved) for one fight. I liked the design of Blue. The aura is really cool, and is my favourite aura of all the forms. It just came out of nowhere when we had only just got to grips with the whole new level of power.
super saiyan god is just your base with god ki, going into super saiyan with it makes ssjb, and they have already mastered ssj, and harder forms, so it makes sense they could go into it easily what doesnt make sense is why people dont understand why ssjg isnt shown much, probably cause of the aura this is the same series where ssj3 wasnt shown much cause of its long hair, so why would an aura be out of the picture to simply just not use it much?
Raenar Braun Not necessarily. At this point, Ssjblue is a multiverse buster. But more and more characters are asspulled to give it a “good fight” The fan base is tired of seeing that form for every little thing. Giving it a more scarce appearance and actually making it look as strong as it is will give it a much better reputation.
Stop using it against people like Krillin and then saying the ki control allowed him to lower his power. I mean if he transforms to make himself weaker why not just stay base. Maybe someone will say it's to make himself weaker than his base but that just sounds dumb.
DZ Legend Exactly. And worst part is that in DBZ goku was stated to have perfect KI control of all his forms except for Ssj3. Meaning that he can easily control his KI in base form. Ssjb wasn’t necessary for anyone in the ToP except for Jiren. The bad writing made Kefla and Anizara above ssjb fro whatever reason, even though ssjb was stated to “have power that rivals even the gods” Which just pissed me off even more. I guess everyone in dB is G.O.D tier now.
@@zorro8027 I'll give Kefla a pass. Tbh I liked the saiyan girls. More so Caulifla. I could believe that she was actually a prodigy and that Kale's berserk form was like a mini Broly so I can see how blue was needed for Kefla. Blue was also needed for full power Toppo. But yea Goku did a whole training regimen to make SSJ1 a natural form for him. Blue is just about not letting Ki run wild but wasn't that what his training did?
Blue was a mistake. And since it's just mashing two forms together, you can't get rid of it either. The thing to do with it is to throw in something else, so their default is a modified design. Evolution is as good as that horrible blue is ever going to look. I'd personally delete it forever and roll back to the awesome looking red we never got to use correctly.
at least goku used red in the top really cleverly (red drains much less stamina than blue so he used red when being attacked and blue when going on the offensive when he needed that extra punch) but blue was unfortunately really underwhelming
Red should have been their goal to achieve *on their own* without any help, with Blue being the crutch until they reach Red. That would also fit with Toriyama's "Red color feels strong while Blue feels weak". They can't really control god Ki yet, so they mix it with their super saiyan transformation to get a boost in power, but weaker than a true godly transformation. And then you can go to UI if needed. But no, they *ALWAYS* have to up the ante, don't mind that Beerus was still much stronger than Golden Frieza and Red was able to give him something like a fight.
@@scivoid I could agree with you if it wasn't for UI. That's base form hair, basically (well, a tiny bit more wild). Sure, UI is, technically, a technique instead of a transformation, but the eyes and the hair change, so... That said, what you propose would also work.

It would've also been amazing if Goku revealed SSB whenever he was fighting Hit for the first time. Since SSB is apparently all about better ki control, it would've hit us the double whammy of Goku showing off a new form and bringing back Kaioken. It would've added even more tension to the fight and hit our nostalgia buttons. Kaioken Blue was all about mixing the old era of DB with the new one.
We do see sparks of SSB in the anime before they attain it and Whis is like "Hmmm... Interesting". I can't remember which episode but I think Goku and Vegeta are sparring, and their fists connect, the aura around their fists goes blue leading them to stop and look at their fists... but I like your version of it.
Honestly, when you mentioned Ultra Instinct being the true essence of Blue, my thoughts were actually about... Goku Black. That's what I envisioned when you said he'd be looser, calmer, more lucid, and overall more eloquent. Goku Black's personality, barring the murder-y, genocide-y side, is actually what I thought of first.
Honestly I would have kept Super Saiyan God through Battle of Gods/Resurrection F and introduce Blue during Goku's fight with Hit. Would allow it to have a more "bam" reveal & showcase which would do a lot to help the image of the form.

@@shrigula9457 really? I might have to give it a look after all.... Thanks for the input; I asked my ex about it a week or two ago, and he was a little vague about it
I really like Blue, I always felt that it was sort of a combination of Super Saiyan's power boost with standard form's precise Ki control (hence the ability to use it with Kaioken) and also, in regards to him using it in the fight against Krillin, I always interpreted that as Goku wanting to give Krillin a taste of how powerful the opposition in the tournament was going to be

Anyone else here actually like Super Saiyan Blue, or is it just me? Don't get me wrong, it definitely could have been tweaked like Masako said, but I still like it the way it is. Still loved the video!!!
I like super saiyan blue but the problem is that was over utilized for trivial things and ignoring the existence of Super Saiyan God until the Tournament of power... why was Super Saiyan God not utilized in the earlier sagas if Vegeta can use Super Saiyan God in Dragon Ball Broly and Goku ultilze Super Saiyan God in the tournament of power
I like the form, but its naming and introduction aren't great. As an example, simply "Saiyan God" for the red one and "Super Saiyan God" for blue, since SSJB is supposed to be a Saiyan God that's gone super saiyan. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan? Really? What's next, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Ultra Instinct Super Saiyan? As for its introduction, it should have been introduced in a similar fashion as the first introduction as the original Super Saiyan on Namek, where Krillin dies and causes Goku to go Super Saiyan along with his God form and send Frieza back to his happy hell.
In my opinion, I just roll with it as far as transformations go. Granted I got really hyped upon watching resurrection f, but I do see your point masako.
With your colour theory it would make sense to use ssjblue against krillin and such, so he could read into them better. Maybe that could be an explanation why Goku used it... I actually like this fix alot.
the logic behind goku using blue on krillin was to prepare him for the ridiculously strong guys at the top so the color theory actually fits in nicely here especially since goku says and i quote: “krillin, what will you do now?”
Super Saiyan Blue should’ve been handled: -Powerful but delicate. -Difficult to get and maintain. You cannot power up into the form normally by just RAHH screaming. The user must remain calm and focused. -Notable weakness: Getting angry and enraged causes the user to drop out of the form.
I kind of like Super Saiyan Blue, though. Truthfully, it has the 2nd most victories out of any other Super Saiyan form, after the 1st Super Saiyan form. Although most of those were victories in which Super Saiyan Blue was not even needed, but still. The form also seems to break it's limits alot. Like when Goku Blue overpowered a Vegito Blue level opponent in Merged Zamasu during a Energy blast clash.
This should become a series where Masako tries to give theories and ideas on how to fix some of Dragon Ball's biggest letdowns or bad moments...Maybe call it...MasakofiX? lol
I always thought when Goku was going from SSG to SSB in the Broly movie and seeing him look like he was struggling was that Goku was trying to go Mastered Ultra Instinct but couldn't due to not learning how to turn MUI at will decided to just go Blue instead, that's what I took away from seeing his hair, eyebrows and pupils trying to go silver in the Broly film since at that time we didn't know about the Moro Arc as well as if Goku was going to learn to fully unlock a way to go UI and MUI at will like he does with the other forms he has
Goku did not struggle to turn SSJB in the Broly movie. He was trying to go MUI, you see his hair flicker silver for a moment before he goes blue. After all, when Broly is overwhelming Goku, we see Vegeta go blue in seconds to join the battle.
@@RickyUzumaki993 Probably because 2 and 3 had lightning, and God had Fire. Keep up the scheme. Maybe Ice for Blue? Keep Wind for a potential Green transformation if it happens
Gotta say, I adore Super Saiyan Blue. It's possibly my favorite transformation out of all of them (due in part to the ability to use Kaioken with it, which itself is actually what got me interested in Dragon Ball again a few years ago) but I must say that you make some fantastic points here, and I like your idea of having it be used as a stepping stone for Ultra Instinct.
11:33 I feel like this mood shift should be applied only to early uses of Super Saiyan Blue. Similarly to how most Super Saiyan transformations were reached through rage and outbursts of emotion.
SkyTech RTS Dragon balls are smaller than normal cannonballs. Unless you go to namek, then they're slightly larger. Unless you go get the Super Ones, there's an idea.
If we go with the chakra theory, then having Goku get more creative with his ki moves would be really fun. We’ve seen that ki can be used to form pretty much anything. Spheres, discs, lightning, halos, there doesn’t seem to be any outright limit.
Yeah, they didn't handle Blue too well. I used to think that they used it so often because its about Ki Control and them learning to use Divine Energy. That's how Goku was able to use it against Krillin and not instantly disintegrate him. He could use Blue at a lower level to give Krillin a sort of confidence boost ya know? Buuuuuut, obviously that's not the case since they still use regular SSJ pretty often too. I can only defend the show so much lmao
I really like SSB but I would change 1 thing, it's stated that it provides better ki control so I think it should come with new abilities like Zamasu's ki weapons or beams from their feet or mouth just more unique ki manipulation in general
I personally love it, i may be a little biast due to it being my favourite colour, but its actually quite well used in super come the u6 vs u7 tournament, the greater ki control required to use the form allowed him to use the kaioken again, always found it a shame he stopped using it seeing as that and the spirit bomb are kinda his only attacks that are exclusive to him(never actually see king kai use them) so i was so happy when this greatly coloured super saiyan form brought back such a great technique
A good way to fix the issue of not using blue is, having them use it when they actually need to and making goku and Vegeta ascend into it. And, when they get tired they drop into ssg.
i will hold blue as one of my highest rated forms of Super Saiyan not because of looks or hype for a new form. I would rate it based on power, versatility, how useful it is, and it's track record. Same with Blue Evoled and Super Saiyan 3. I say that Super Saiyan 3 isn't useless and it can be used properly like GT Goku did with the Tail and in Battle Of Gods where Goku was able to use Super Saiyan 3's full power without the drain as much even though he was 2 shoted by Berrus, even Gotenks showed he can control it without the stamina drain. Like Super Saiyan Grade 3/Ultra Super Saiyan the form is the Super Saiyan form that no one else would achieve because of its major flaws. Because Goku in his Super Saiyan 3 form did way more better in control of Stamina and Ki against Berrus. Showing that Super Saiyan 3 can be mastered by giving it time and training to improve Super Saiyan 3 like later on how Goku and Vegeta mastered Super Saiyan Blue.
I like ssb but I always thought it acted like a dimmer switch. At max, it’s much stronger than ssg, but because it’s better control of god ki it should make all other forms weaker useless because blue can just dial in that much power. But they still showcase the older forms because marketing. I can be wrong tho
When I first SSGSS was it was only with Vegeta, I thought Goku would have a Red transformation, and Vegeta got Blue, and I thought that was really cool, my hopes were crushed
Well yeah I'd also go with that throat chakra concept, since you explained it that's actually quite perfect, but I'd also make it a slight elemental power. Same with red. Red would be more fire based, his hair showing subtle signs of being literal flame but not appearing as such, symbolizing his new ability to weaponize his own body heat and make things hotter for the opponent if they are too close. Maybe even use his hands to pass microwaves into the opponent to fry them from the inside. Blue in turn would be the next step, electricity. His hair would subtly be like jagged crystal surging with EMP. And much like the thunderbolt he would move as quick as a flash even faster than normal. Pretty much just using the Instant Transmission without needing to concentrate, now it is an automated body function just like breathing or moving any of his fingers. His brain synapses and nervous system now do all the work allowing him to teleport fast enough to become a being almost like the Cheshire Cat, everywhere and nowhere. Also his body is a highly conductive living battery, using a weaponized static shock to make him dangerous for enemies to even touch him. And for the love of Pete, make the damn blue hair more appealing than that ugly looking cyan they went with. Also change the bloody name to something better like "Super Saiyan Titan".
@@dandyspacedandy That being said I feel super saiyan violet could be like a corrupt version of ssgss/ssb that make the user lose control. idk just throwing out an idea
Personally super saiyan blue became my favorite transformation because of the broly movie and also my favorite color is blue but I do see the problems of it. So I like this video very much keep up with the incredible videos 👌👌
I noticed when watching Goku and Vegeta train in that pocket dimension that Whis created in Super, there WAS a brief blue spark to foreshadow this form. But that's literally it for its allusions before the debut.
I think ultra instict is "primal" rather than "elegant". Basically being more instinctive than reflective. From that point of view I don't agree with the fix that ssblue would be a light ultra instinct.
I would change God-forms function entirely, instead of them being typical mortal brutish power-ups, God-forms would lean more towards Martial-arts skills and Ki-control as they are. Before SSB, Goku and Vegeta would learn True SSG form, one with spikey hair and only when Friezas raw power is a serious threat, the two Saiyans would relax their minds and unleash SSB for the first time, and like said they would have a hard time maintaining the form due to being battle-hungry Saiyans
The thing most people fail to get with the Goku blue vs. Krillin is that it's not that Krillin was so strong that Goku had to resort to blue, but rather Goku wanted to show Krillin the sort of power levels he might very well encounter during the tournament of power. In fact, Krillin ended up winning, not by overpowering Goku, but by using his head.
Watching your videos and Totalnotmark's videos on characters, kinda makes me want to make my own what-ifs/fan stories. Mainly a what-if about the Androids arriving early (end of the original series) and a story about the Red Ribbon Army making a clone of Goku, who ends up going his own path. Sorta taking ideas from X-23's origin, with his "mom" taking him away from the lab so they can live a normal life. I am hoping to, however, if I write this, make him his own sorta thing. As for the Androids arriving early thing, that is A. To make a pretty cool Gohan arc, and B. Make a Trunks Black arc.
Hey, big fan, but...for as much as you talk up how emotionally impactful Super Saiyan transformations can and should be, you seem to give out SSJ2 rather easily in your what-ifs.
Note: I have not seen any DB after Buu saga. My understanding is that SSB is about attaining tranquillity. Rather than increasing in raw power, this form should have been about understanding themselves, their opponent and their environment. His personality and appearance should convey peace, relaxation. Like a sniper before the shot.
I’m caught up on DBS, and to this day I still firmly believe SSJ3 is stronger in raw power and pure destructive potential than anything they’ve been doing recently.
I really like this I would personally make Blue much more powerful, almost as powerful as UI. Due to it's insane power boost, it would slowly damage Goku and Vegeta's body because they wouldn't be strong enough to handle that level of power for too long. Because of this, they would mainly use Super Saiyan God and use Blue as a last resort or if they are being overpowered by the one their fighting. I would also make it to where they would be calm while in Blue, similar to UI and the Angels. This will help them focus more during a fight and make less mistakes.
Hey Masako! I really enjoyed the video on how to fix SSB, great work! I wanted to ask though, is there a way to directly contact you through messaging or something. The reason being is I have formulated my own way to fix SSB and wanted to share my ideas with you. Just a Thought.
Here's my own opinion on how SSJ Blue should have been handled. Persona: Like you mentioned, Super Saiyan Blue should have changed Goku and Vegeta's moods, they should be more relaxed and normal and less prone to anger and frustration. Normal SSJ was to be achieved through a screaming power up of rage, Blue should be the opposite and instead activated through a calm and silent transformation with no sighs of a struggle. In a way, Blue's effect on the user should be more or less like how Goku and Gohan looked with Super Saiyan Grade 4. No serious strain on the user and a more calm feeling when in the form. Powers/Abilities: Being a GOD form, the Super Saiyan Blue form should retain the powers of one. With the main staple of the form being Ki control, characters who can't sense God Ki wouldn't be able to sense a Blue user's Ki, giving them a huge advantage over their opponents who rely on sensing Ki these days. I'm not too sure if Blue should keep Super Saiyan God's healing ability, so for now I'd keep it exclusive to God for reasons I'll get into in just a bit. Contrast to Super Saiyan God: We all know that the Super Saiyan God form has been shown to be more conservative than Blue, so instead of using SSJ Blue 24/7 in battles, Super Saiyan God should be used more often by the characters to access their God abilities without risking going Blue unless they're in serious trouble and they need to break out their maximum power. God's healing ability can be very useful when they don't have access to Sensu Beans and the more balanced power usage along with the Instant Blue technique make it more reliable for drawn out battles. Other: With Blue technically being a hybrid between normal SSJ and Super Saiyan God, they should show that through transformations sequences like they did in the Broly film to highlight it further and get people to understand what the form actually is. A SSJ Goku calms his mind as a red flame envelopes him, you see his SSJ silhouette through the flames as the colours of the flame fade from red to blue as the flames of aura clear to reveal SSJ Blue. My comments about Blue making the user more calm and relaxed isn't supposed to rip from Ultra Instinct's book, while it is supposed to lead into that form, my idea of the character's mood is different. In Blue, they would be more calm, fluid and collected. Ultra Instinct makes you COMPLETELY silent and serious, your emotions and ordinary personality leave the door as you become a hyper focused, fast, precise and deadly warrior. Blue is the half way point and Ultra Instinct would be the end goal. I know I've posted this two months after this came out, but I came back and gave this more thought and decided to share my ideas.
America Eagle Or a red super saiyan with spiked hair. And then give the blue to Vegeta. Signifying attaining it on your own. Let people have different Aura colors. Not just copies.
America Eagle There's already too many colors to keep track of. Your argument makes no sense. Goku gets red and Vegeta gets blue. How is that more complicated than what it is now? If anything, it's less complicated.
@@nightwalker174 No. Each color is a different stage. It would be confusing if Goku and Vegeta each got a different color. What would you do for an ancor then? There are only so many colors. Also SSJ has this rule where the same stage looks the same for everybody. Its an unspoken rule but im glad its not broken.
@6:55 I would like this idea much more if Vegeta learned it first. Great character development since Whis tells him his weakness is that he is too tense.
I think the best way to fix the design of SSB is to simply make the form more like SSG, such as giving it a skinnier body and a more "peaceful" looking face, instead of just giving a Super Saiyan a blue hair dye.
its a MIX of ssjg and ssj, now what are those forms? a spiky haired form mixed with a form that just changes the color of your hair, so what does that make? a form that looks exactly like the form with the spiky hair aka ssj
Masako goku was obviously holding back against krillin and 17. Goku used the other transformations to gauge jiren's strength. I wouldn't change anything I like blue's introduction.
Tiger Shark Max i think at least the debut could have been better just a little. Maybe jumping to super saiyan god beforehand and whatnot. Had a slight dramatic flare.
Hey MasakoX! I'm Senior48. Since you already fix Super Saiyan Blue, I have an idea to fix Super Saiyan 3. I would change from a form that Goku claim to be his discovery with no real evidence to a form that had a purpose to exist. For Example: Goku is in the Final Round of some Tournament. (Not the "Goku vs Pikkon" one) and He's about to fight his last Opponent. His Opponent was a calm person with selfless personality, completely opposite to Goku. That fight taught Goku something important. *Be Cautious.* When he's fighting, he can't let his ego cloud his mind. If he do that, He's gonna erase his Existence. He trained his Body, Mind and Power so much that he earn a new form. Super Saiyan 3. That form erase his ego and made him cautious while fighting. Now he will never risk everyone's life ever again..... Sorry for my bad English.
Honestly 12:00 VERY GOOD. Imo, blue should've came AFTER Zamasu made Goku angry about chi chi, and Vegeta and him learn to use it more. Broly movie should've came after that where we see that mui flash for Goku; that would've made it all the much more amazing in the TOP afterwards. If not, Vegeta should've gotten a darker blue to am towards him using the more hard RAGE factor of SSJ; while Goku uses the modified calmness of SSJ.... aka SSJ grade 4, and Vegeta SSJ Berserk or more so the earlier grade 1 which leaves you agitated.... This would've suited them perfectly for the reveal of them using those two forms.
Exactly this! Nothing to add, really. The importance of a transformation comes from the circumstance it get's archieved. Especially with the God ki. Even Super Saiyan was somewhat more spectacular, after Goku fell back to it after he absorbed the God ki fully and yet being able to somewhat hold a foot step against Beerus. Now that was really nice introduced to us. :) Off screen archievements of those forms are just not that mystical and impressive, because we don't see the struggle for that form.

I think the name "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" does a good job demonstrating how much thought was put into the transformation, which is to say not much.
Yeah I always thought it should be Saiyan God (red) to Super Saiyan God (blue)

@@dark-xh7fs can't tell if you're joking
@@TheBoy32NDME i simply like concept. Could be executed better.
Ultra instinct probably does the best job at being an actual proper transformation, right below ssj 1
"which we all loved" lolwat
@@TheSefirosu200x IKR. Personally I hated the form until the fandom came up with the idea for Vegeta's SSJG to be Blue.
I agree SSG should've had more uses but disagree that it came out of nowhere. Their training with Whis was a whole part of the series
super saiyan god is just your base with god ki, going into super saiyan with it makes ssjb, and they have already mastered ssj, and harder forms, so it makes sense they could go into it easily what doesnt make sense is why people dont understand why ssjg isnt shown much, probably cause of the aura this is the same series where ssj3 wasnt shown much cause of its long hair, so why would an aura be out of the picture to simply just not use it much?
How to fix blue
1.) make it rare to see.
2.) only show it against super strong opponents
3.) when it is shown make it a very long, brutal fight.
Basically UI
Raenar Braun
Not necessarily. At this point, Ssjblue is a multiverse buster. But more and more characters are asspulled to give it a “good fight”
The fan base is tired of seeing that form for every little thing.
DZ Legend
Exactly. And worst part is that in DBZ goku was stated to have perfect KI control of all his forms except for Ssj3. Meaning that he can easily control his KI in base form. Ssjb wasn’t necessary for anyone in the ToP except for Jiren. The bad writing made Kefla and Anizara above ssjb fro whatever reason, even though ssjb was stated to “have power that rivals even the gods”
Which just pissed me off even more.
I'd personally delete it forever and roll back to the awesome looking red we never got to use correctly.
at least goku used red in the top really cleverly
(red drains much less stamina than blue so he used red when being attacked and blue when going on the offensive when he needed that extra punch)
but blue was unfortunately really underwhelming
Blue wasn't a mistake

It would've also been amazing if Goku revealed SSB whenever he was fighting Hit for the first time.
Since SSB is apparently all about better ki control, it would've hit us the double whammy of Goku showing off a new form and bringing back Kaioken. It would've added even more tension to the fight and hit our nostalgia buttons. Kaioken Blue was all about mixing the old era of DB with the new one.

I completely agree about saving Blue for Hit. But save Blue Kaiōken for Goku Black and Zamasu.

I like blue, it can look great in some transformations but I kinda prefer god. Just color preferences mostly
A great setback for SSGSS would be if it's held back by anger, then blue isn't available when you're overtaken by anger!
goku has already mastered ssj which would kinda be about controlling your anger, you know the thing that orignally made it happen

Super Saiyan Blue should’ve been handled:
-Powerful but delicate.
This should become a series where Masako tries to give theories and ideas on how to fix some of Dragon Ball's biggest letdowns or bad moments...Maybe call it...MasakofiX? lol
I'm not a fan of the shade of blue until Super Blue Vegeta and the Broly film.
It's more teal instead of blue, SBV and in Broly it was actually BLUUE

Indeed
I always thought when Goku was going from SSG to SSB in the Broly movie and seeing him look like he was struggling was that Goku was trying to go Mastered Ultra Instinct but couldn't due to not learning how to turn MUI at will decided to just go Blue instead, that's what I took away from seeing his hair, eyebrows and pupils trying to go silver in the Broly film since at that time we didn't know about the Moro Arc as well as if Goku was going to learn to fully unlock a way to go UI and MUI at will like he does with the other forms he has
Did uh, anyone else notice that the background light turned green when he said Broly's power was maximum?
Goku did not struggle to turn SSJB in the Broly movie. He was trying to go MUI, you see his hair flicker silver for a moment before he goes blue. After all, when Broly is overwhelming Goku, we see Vegeta go blue in seconds to join the battle.

SkyTech RTS Dragon balls are smaller than normal cannonballs. Unless you go to namek, then they're slightly larger. Unless you go get the Super Ones, there's an idea.
What do you mean if they went to earth they already live there?
If we go with the chakra theory, then having Goku get more creative with his ki moves would be really fun. We’ve seen that ki can be used to form pretty much anything. Spheres, discs, lightning, halos, there doesn’t seem to be any outright limit.
Me: *notices ssb evolution for vegeta*
Also me: so ssj sapphire?
Looking bacl, yeah, Blue is pretty underwhelming.
With this new insight in hand, I hope you apply it to your different what ifs
Ssj 3 transformation sounded painful
Just sayian
I personally love it, i may be a little biast due to it being my favourite colour, but its actually quite well used in super come the u6 vs u7 tournament, the greater ki control required to use the form allowed him to use the kaioken again, always found it a shame he stopped using it seeing as that and the spirit bomb are kinda his only attacks that are exclusive to him(never actually see king kai use them) so i was so happy when this greatly coloured super saiyan form brought back such a great technique
Why is it blue though
Isn't it supposed to be orange
RIGHT!
Super android 13 is an example for that
A good way to fix the issue of not using blue is, having them use it when they actually need to and making goku and Vegeta ascend into it. And, when they get tired they drop into ssg.
IF they could redo they'd probably switch the red and blue and we'd have red hair for SSJGSSJ and blue for just normal SSJG
Evo
Probably
i will hold blue as one of my highest rated forms of Super Saiyan not because of looks or hype for a new form.

Before SSB, Goku and Vegeta would learn True SSG form, one with spikey hair and only when Friezas raw power is a serious threat, the two Saiyans would relax their minds and unleash SSB for the first time, and like said they would have a hard time maintaining the form due to being battle-hungry Saiyans

xenoverse 2 showed us them training in the weird whis chamber thingie, I think it also showed us them getting blue. Wish the anime did that.

The love you gave qauman should make you friends with him trust.

I really like this
I would personally make Blue much more powerful, almost as powerful as UI.
Persona:
Like you mentioned, Super Saiyan Blue should have changed Goku and Vegeta's moods, they should be more relaxed and normal and less prone to anger and frustration.
Powers/Abilities:
Being a GOD form, the Super Saiyan Blue form should retain the powers of one.
Contrast to Super Saiyan God:
We all know that the Super Saiyan God form has been shown to be more conservative than Blue, so instead of using SSJ Blue 24/7 in battles, Super Saiyan God should be used more often by the characters to access their God abilities without risking going Blue unless they're in serious trouble and they need to break out their maximum power. God's healing ability can be very useful when they don't have access to Sensu Beans and the more balanced power usage along with the Instant Blue technique make it more reliable for drawn out battles.

With Blue technically being a hybrid between normal SSJ and Super Saiyan God, they should show that through transformations sequences like they did in the Broly film to highlight it further and get people to understand what the form actually is.
Dyno's Art
I like your idea
Great review, and awesome ideas!
I mean i would if liked it if Toriyama at least kept visiual consistency and gave it SSJ Gods eyes, maybe even go so far as to leave the eyes red.
America Eagle Or a red super saiyan with spiked hair. And then give the blue to Vegeta. Signifying attaining it on your own. Let people have different Aura colors. Not just copies.
@@nightwalker174 No. You aren't the only one suggesting that but there would simply ve too many colirs to keep track off than.
America Eagle
There's already too many colors to keep track of.
America Eagle That's not a rule. That's never been established. Stop talking out of your ass.
@6:55 I would like this idea much more if Vegeta learned it first. Great character development since Whis tells him his weakness is that he is too tense.
Joke's on you. I'm already subscribed to Qaaman.
@@DarkEclipse23 Yeah there are ways to make it better but I'm fine with hiw it is
Well. It's official, Masako's SSB origin is part of my headcannon
TeamPrankinBall
Not bad
"A flicker of ssjb"
Me: (reminded of the moment goku and vegetas fists had a blue aura after clashing, then disappeared)
These are scenarios which have tremendous levels of gravitas, presence and... SPLENDA?! 😲

Not hating the transformation, but for me SSJ3 and SSJ4 are my favorite ones those look badass though Super Saiyan God was good as well.
Off screen archievements of those forms are just not that mystical and impressive, because we don't see the struggle for that form.
