High phosphorus in kidney disease patients can cause a heart attack and/or stroke, so can high potassium.

As a child and teenager every time i ate meat or dairy or took protein supplements i had sorest kidneys and lower back next time. Going plant-based and laying off the focus on protein has significantly helped. I have pains now only once in a blue moon, when i over do it. It is also highly important to state to consume Organic Foods as all the pesticides and herbicides used in those foods mentioned will harm the body and kidneys even more. Watermelon & Dandelion are excellent too.

Just wanted to say to everyone struggling with this, stay strong.... I know following diets like this is not only tough, but its also a pain paying for the food. The pysillium probably gave you the blockage. It's a very dangerous herb if you don't drink boatloads of water with it because it becomes hard as a brick in the intestines without enough water.

My nephrologist advised me to eat everything since I am on Dialysis, he said it is more important that you eat well to get strength for Dialysis. He did ask me to restrict my fluid intake

99 is an excellent number, far from kidney disease, you are the envy of the world so stop scaring yourself for no good reasons. Of course it also depend on your age and how fast it goes down as a trend. Kidney starts to go down in globular filtration rate from birth, but for most adult, 60 is the number cross into so called stage 3, but that is not yet classified as real kidney disease unless you also have Albumin/Creatinine ratio (UACR) of 30 in your urine ( not in your blood test!). So relax! However, It is good for anyone to watch out and eat good healthy food, so keep an eye on your health is excellent, but don’t let over concern scares you !
