    It works!!!! It absolutely works 🤩🤩🤩🤩. I’ve prepared it one week ago an today I wanted some Miso soup. I took one ball, put some Tofu in my bowl and poured hot water over them. Within one minute!!!! I had my perfekt Miso Soup! Thank you so so so much 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

    I love miso soup! Making them in advance and placing them in an ice tray is a brilliant idea. I didn't know you can just add hot water to it, I thought you need to boil it on a stove 😆 Now I can just bring a tiny ball in a bowl to work and just add hot water from the dispenser there. Thanks for the recipes, now I can enjoy them in more varieties. 😊

    What a wonderful way to make this easier for a busy mom who just wants some miso in the morning! Thank you for making such a good video, I don't have an ice cube tray with a lid but I usually only make enough for 3-4 days at a time anyways. This gave me some new recipes to try, I never knew there were so many kinds of miso soup!

    Perhaps can share homemade roux, curry roax, tomato roux, vegetable roux & japanese stew & curry base.

      @@JapaneseCookingChannel I can find some miso and tofu here, but no wakame, bonito, or other "specialty" foods because we don't have a Japanese community here. I lived in Japan for 2 years and I miss real Japanese food, like fresh miso soup, inari, fresh sashimi, shiso (I can eat it all day!!), shishamo, yakitori, and natto!!! I've subscribed because your channel makes me feel like I can eat Japanese food again!

      I just made few Miso Balls. Luckily, I had Salted Plums, Wakame, and Fried Tofu at home 😃 , so will start having one for breakfast everyday to go with my rolled egg omelet that I learned how to make from your previous videos !! Thsnk you again !!

    I just found the videos. I love them! I have to ask about the small bowls you use for mixing and used them for cooking in the microwave. How large are they - are they measuring cups or just bowls? they look the perfect size for cooking for one.

    I can't wait to make miso balls for the first time and bring them to work! Where can I find the wheat gluten though? I have tried to find them online but I am having a hard time!

    How much dashi powder would you use instead of bonito flakes? Same amount or no? If you don't have bonito flakes of course

    I've never used bonito or hondashi. I use liquid concentrated dashi. Is that similar or are the dry versions better?

    Where can you buy the colourful wheat gluten packet for the miso soup? Amazon don't sell it.

    Do the bonito flakes dissolve fully?

      The bonito flakes do not dissolve away, but they are very thin, so I think they will be palatable.

      If you use kombu dashi powder instead of bonito flakes, I think it'll be the miso balls for vegetarian and vegan.
