Taco Soup:
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups beef or chicken broth or stock
1 (15 oz) corn, drained
1 (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 oz) chili beans in chili sauce
1 (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 (4 oz) chopped green chiles
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder
Salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste
HIGH 4-6 hours
LOW 8-10 hours

Hey Courtney, Happy Monday. That iced coffee sounds delicious. I haven’t had a lot of coffee the past couple of weeks either, only a couple times a week now. ❤ I loved the grocery haul and the Minute Maid juice is delicious. ❤ there’s nothing like having a clean fridge and being able to put our groceries into it nice and organized.❤you always make the best food. Those pictures look great on your wall I love them. I know where to go if I ever need to get some for my walls.

I’ve been looking for a good taco soup recipe so thank you for sharing! I made potato soup a few weeks ago and it was so good and easy so I’ll share it with you!
1 diced onion
2 (or more!) tsp minced garlic
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
4 cups chicken broth
2/3 cup heavy cream
Diced gold potatoes (5-6 large ones)
Salt and pepper to taste
Crumbled bacon
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
Sauté the onions in the butter until translucent, add garlic and cook until fragrant, add in the flour and cook for a few minutes then add your milk and stir until it starts to thicken a bit, then add your chicken broth, your heavy cream, and your potatoes and salt and pepper. Cook until potatoes are done and then take half of the soup out and blend it and add it back in. Add in your bacon and cheese and enjoy!
Thank you! And someone said that they make their taco soup just like mine but they put taco seasoning in it instead of all the seasonings I did and honestly I was confused too that it didn’t just have you throw taco seasoning in it! So I may try it that way next time!
Put a tsp of baking soda in your milk n it will keep longer or a half tsp if you wait til it’s about half

I put everything in my taco soup that you did except I use taco season pouches instead of using all the other spices. I use 2 / 3 taco pouches. Depending on how robust I want my soup.
I’m thinking about trying that next time! It did throw me off that taco seasoning wasn’t going in it lol
