20 year old autistic girlie here - I’ve felt so guilty and useless for really struggling with the "simple" adult things. But you know what? Hey Remi! Been following you since you first uploaded but decided to comment today. I found your channel at the same time I found out I may be neurodivergent. I was struggling so much and I found comfort in your channel as I never seen a cleaning channel like this! Since then I've been diagnosed with ADHD and autism at 32. That touched my heart in a way I can't explain. Thank you for always being a constant source of empowerment. You're an incredible person ❤
Hi Remi! I adore your videos and your lovely voiceovers! An idea from my own experience: I raised my three daughters in a very small Amsterdam apartment on a tiny budget. Storing heaps of toys was out of the question. I therefore decided to ask people to contribute to one or a few bigger gifts for birthdays, like a new bike, music lessons or other more expensive but important or fun things. It worked! Less piles of toys that were hardly ever played with and more fun and quality of life for me and them. My girls were just as happy, even happier with what they did get and didn’t miss getting lots of smaller gifts and toys. Just thought I’d share in case you or others here might benefit. Keep doing what you’re doing here! Watching your videos feels like having a friend in my house. You’re a beautiful person!
Love from OK, USA 😘 I listen to your videos every time I declutter or deep clean and it feels like I’m on the phone with my best friend. You’re awesome and an inspiration!
Remi, 200,000 subscribers, way to go!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 This means your message of inclusivity, compassion and education about diverse minds is really taking hold. I know that I have been forever changed by you. Do you know that I am a little kinder and more compassionate towards myself and others because of you? Thank you.❤❤
I'm 67 and love your content more than you can possibly know. Things have been rough in my corner of the world, and your content, your format, your kindness, your intelligence, and your creativity are all exactly what I need to move forward. It's so lovely to find someone like you who seems to understand how my brain works! With tears in my eyes, I have to say you are a true gift!
I love that you declutter. In the long run, it will make it so much easier to tidy up. ❤ May I suggest a foldable drying rack for clothes and one more coat rack in the closet for bags, purses, and backpacs. The landing look so good with the new laundry baskets. 😊
@@remiclog Thank you Remi! You as well sweetheart!! For the first time I feel like I can actually have the best year thanks to you! Keep up the good work girl!! 🤗
I never used to make my bed, then a few years ago I started and you know what I noticed? When I walk passed my room and I see the bed made..it puts a smile on my face 😁 It looks tidy and I don't have to shut the door if anyone drops round 🤣 And once the better weather comes, it's even better as I can open windows. It smells all fresh when I go to bed :)
I admire your hard work and energy. I think my brain works a lot like yours, and I'm now 58 years old. I've spent my life beating myself up for not being clean enough, hating the mess, and have literally just "given up." Cleaning feels like trying to bail water out of the Titanic with a sand pail.
"looking like Miss Trunchbull, but with the confidence of a Victoria Secrets model" is my whole style! I've spent so much of my life being uncomfortable in clothing to hide my size (I'm a 6 foot tall, chunky woman), but I now figure if no-one likes what I'm wearing, that's a them problem. Pyjama's as Clothing, UNITE!!!!!!
Could you put a lower set of hooks for the boys stuff and an over the door hanger for extra shoes/hats /gloves ? Absolutely love your videos ! So refreshing to see a normal person with a normal home. Def my fav youtuber 😊
My family informed our extended family that we would no longer be giving or accepting gifts. This is a great way to cut down on clutter and reduce the stress of getting rid of a gift.
We've switched to experiences or consumables for the same reason. Think a gift card to a slightly better restaurant than usual, and paint for the family artist.
as a gen x we didn’t have the classifications we have now, and to be honest with recent menopause my ADHD went from a mild 20 to 60 miles an hour (think of animal from the muppets😜) I felt insane, until I found you and others like you or I guess like me and it showed me how to cope. THANK YOU ❤❤❤ for being on here changing lives
I started watching this and felt the need to clean out my refrigerator. I stopped to go do that then came back to your video. The science project in one of my drawers is gone. Lol
35 year old AUDHD (Autism + ADHD) male. Been meaning to comment for a while. Whenever I am struggling to get my house in gear I put your videos on to help me along the way. I used to feel really horrible for my mental health (Depression) slipping and my house would slowly start to reflect what my mind looked like inside and I used to beat myself up for it, I found your channel in 2024 and I am really glad I did, because you really are a breath of fresh air. You really do help me when I am feeling like I'm having a down day and I must admit I like hearing how you're doing and stuff. It makes me feel like I'm not alone and it's just a friend helping me tidy and having a bit of conversation. Anyways, thank you for getting me through the hard days.
omg Remi, I have two shoe/coat cupboards in the hallway that look identical to your cupboard, I’ve been meaning to pull everything out of them for two years, but it’s too scary! Thank you for tackling yours, I’m hoping this gives me the strength to face mine 🥲 2025 is our year, girlie ❤
Remi, I love watching your videos. I have 2 daughters and a husband and could never understand why the one daughter and my spouse had such a problem keeping things tidy. (My youngest daughter is like me, hates clutter). It was only when I started watching your videos that I came to understand that they don't see things the same way I do. Please keep up the great job. We need you in our lives.
"Go out looking like Miss Trunchbull?" Ohhhh Matilda!! I had to stop the video and laugh at that. Remy I think you missed your calling. You are VERY FUNNY!! I don't think you've ever looked like her!! Good luck on the new laundry plan. ❤❤❤
Dealing with the clothes. That brings up a lot of memories. I was a divorced mom with 5 children. When they were younger, I did the sorting into colors. When they got a little older, each had their own laundry basket. I preferred each having own basket because I didn't have to sort it out when folding. It was just the one child's clothes in the load. Thanks Remi. Love your channel.
After watching this, I was finally able to take down the Christmas, declutter all the drawers and cabinets in my room! Thank you Remi! You guys live in a small house with 4 people and a dog. Much more difficult to keep clean than a large house. I live in a small house in Texas, with my 25 year old daughter. She is a bit like you, messy, just doesn’t see things like I do. However, I’m too far in the other direction, keeping everything perfect and “I” drive me nuts… You’re a great mom! A great person! I’m glad I found your videos. Much love to you guys!
Ahh you got a huge amount done! Your relationship with your daughter sounds a lot like me and my mum, she’s the same as you - things could get rocky between us when we lived together. I think we all get on our own nerves to some extent! 😊 Thank you for being so kind, and love to you as well.
@@remiclog I remember when she was a baby and there were toys everywhere in the house, I remember this voice in my head that said “she’s a child, lighten up. And I did! I just let her be a child… there were times when she got older that I would clean up her room at her request and was always happy to help.
Bless you. What a kind and humble person you are. I keep coming back a little bit for the cleaning but mostly to hear your voice - dishing out a wholesome dollop of utterly grounded mentoring, that speaks so kindly to my soul. What an inspiration you are. It pleased me so much to hear that your UA-cam channel has changed your life so positively, as your videos have such a positive effect on so many of your viewers. Thank you. I look forward to every new video you produce for us.
Hi Remi! Thank you for sharing your process, and for your loving-kindness reflections on how some people struggle to let things go. One of the ways I managed to start getting around the sentimentality/anthropomorphizing/guilt thing (I anthropomorphize so much that I choose the dented tins because I feel sorry for them! LOL) was to stop thinking about the loss to me about giving them to others, and think about the blessing that could be to others - especially if I'm donating to the thrift store, I think about the Mum finding a cute outfit or new-to-them toy for their kids at an affordable price, and the idea of that blessing helps me get over the guilt and regret of letting go. I hope this idea might help someone else. Lots of love to everyone here and thank you SO MUCH Remi for the love you put out into the world! ❤
Hello Remi ❤ im a 27 year old mum of an 8 year old autistic son who is obsessed with making his own youtube videos that he adds to my profile. Ive got a lot of diagnosed and also undiagnosed mental health problems of my own, depression, anxiety and PTSD etc, so i really struggle with cleaning/organising and my mind just never ever stops telling myself that im failing at doing the most basic of things. Then when i randomly find myself with the energy to start on a project, i seriously hyperfixate on one small aspect and end up spending 4-6+ hours on the smallest of things without even realising. 😮 The more i watch your videos and listen to you explaining the struggles you face, i feel like your literally describing me a lot of the time! You are the most relatable cleaning content creator ive ever seen. That, along with your absolutely brilliant voiceovers make you my favourite person to watch. I lost my mum this past july after a long battle with cancer 😢 she was one of the only people who genuinely understood exactly how i feel and was my rock, so things have been particularly bad over the last 6 months, however watching your videos definitely helps me to feel motivated to get up and do whats needed. Thank you so much for being you, never change ❤ lots of love from Belfast, northern Ireland x
You are amazing!!!! With clothes, what I do is to Upcycle. You could make blankets or something else out of them I get that feeling as well with clothes. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ You are doing your best and you are enough!
Remi I love watching your videos!! They really motivate me and I love your vibe and how when you talk it feel like I’m on FaceTime with a friend!! I hope you know how much you inspire me to just be me and that everyone’s different in their own special way!!! Keep going girl you got this!!!
Remi girl! I have orchids too. People have given them to me and I can’t throw out plants or let them die. 😂 I’m happy when spring comes around so I can keep them outdoors. One thing I’ve learned about orchids is they don’t like direct or bright light. The orchids in your window might be getting too much light in that area🥰 just my experience…
Remi, you have helped me so much to understanding my neuro diverse 5 year old. Instead of trying to get him a certain way, i have learnt to just go with it, if we are late for school because his having a melt down because I walked out the room wrong, then so be it😂.
You're doing well! It's so amazing how you are 'Remi-proofing' the house!😂🎉 The segmented laundry baskets are great! I definitely agreed with a prior comment regarding the shoe cupboard and lower hooks for the children. Independence is a skill that you can build. I'm wishing you success!
Instead of trying to explain my mental state, I'm just going to start sharing your videos and say THIS IS ME! 😂😂😂 I am mastering giving away stuff. I know that if we just keep what we absolutely need, then the cluttered up tornado of a brain of mine might start clearing up.
Remi you motivated me to clean out my bathroom cabinets while I watched this video! I love listening to your insights when you do your voice overs. Congratulations on reaching 200K subscribers!
Thank you for a great video! Listening to you talk is like an insight into my brain, especially about the notebooks!! The thing that has helped me the most is decluttering! Having less in my life has had a huge positive impact, the less stuff around me the calmer my brain.
Congrats on not listening to people about the storage bins for the laundry. My son has ADHD and it's so bad that he won't even use his dresser. He likes everything out so he can grab it and use it. I finally gave up. Got rid of his dresser and bought him 4 stand up laundry containers (ones like you actually got) and he had been so happy. One he uses for undergarments and socks, one for shirts, one for pants and shorts, and the last time for dirty laundry. He is so much happier and I'm so much happier that clean laundry is not all over the floor. ❤ Remember to do whatever works for you, not what everybody else thinks would work for you! 😁
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video!!! I identify with so much of what you say. I love your voiceovers and your positive outlook. The world needs more people like you! You inspired me to do a random generator for a STACK of chores of cleaning/organizing that my very unmotivated self has put off for way too long. I created 13 tasks for today (there's plenty more, but those will come later.... small accomplishments!). I got all of them done and just looking around my house, is helping me breath easier now. I've tried other methods - ones that you've mentioned on your channel and suggestions from family members... and they never worked. I still have a lot to do, but I feel like a weight lifted off of me. Thank you for being you. Thank you for volunteering yourself as a body double.
Congratulations on reaching your 200,000! Happy that a little thing like laundry baskets has helped you and that Charlie does his own! Keep up the great work 💪
Congratulations on 200K😘So many lovely comments too!!! I think that many people do not know that if you have a combination washer-dryer it takes a lot longer to wash and dry - a friend had one of those and three children, she ended up swapping it for a separate stackable pair, because of how long it took - she was washing all day!!
I have fibromyalgia and depression... and i love the perspective of making things work for myself instead of beating myself up for things not being done "correctly." I'm a 52 year old living in the US and you are giving me tons of inspiration. I'm rooting for you, too!!! 🎉❤
Congratulations on reaching over 2,000; subscribers and, being in a better financial condition for a new house. Remi, You’re an absolute joy to watch and listen too. Watched your Keepy Upy video and commented. I’m now attached to your style and general demeanour. Keep up the great work. From Bristol UK.
Hi remi. I just wanted to say that I think you are wonderful. A friend recommended you and since watching that first video it has altered my mindset about not being able to keep the house clean and help me be a lot less hard on myself. I put your videos on when I am feeling overwhelmed when my three little kids have trashed the house again. Whereas before I would have felt overwhelm and not able to begin, now I listen to your wonderful, empathetic wisdom, your self deprecating sense of humour, your therapeutic, steam of consciousness rambles, and I work side by side you and feel like I am catching up with a friend. You are so intelligent and so relatable the way you speak about your life and struggles. I also love that you inform other people about autism, ADHD and other spectrum struggles and teach other people to be more understanding. I see that I may have been on the spectrum for years and have always struggled with organisation and managing my time. I see too that family members may also have some of these traits. You are an earthly angel making people feel like it is ok if their house is not perfect, encouraging them to be kinder to themselves, and making people feel less alone with their own struggles. I loved your quote about Silvia Plath while you were washing the window. Keep up the great work. You are the opposite of vacuous, social media influences, which is probably why you have so many views.
You're the best I fully encourage this idea of just embracing who you are, you are loved please keep doing what you do best- being you ❤ God bless you!
Hello dear. Canadian here. I have lived your life and wishing I had lived it as well as you do. I appreciate the skills you demonstrate and the way your videos cause me to want to do the same in my home. My mate has hoarding tendencies but bless his heart he fights them. Cheers and thank you so much
Good job!! The easiest way I have found to keep my house tidy is decluttering so you are well on your way!! My tip is be brutal with yourself. I found it hard at first then I realized the less I have the less I have to maintain. As my father would say blessings on you!! Pam
I remember my life with the ex-husband in the house and my son was still little. We all ended up with sleep clothes, work/school clothes, play/garden/chores clothes, and evening relaxing clothes. Almost every day! Laundry grows like an enchanted beanstalk, I swear. If people criticize how much laundry you have, that is a "them" problem. Likely they wear the same outfit all day - what a privilage 😊 The rest of us have to learn how to get through it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, your ideas and routines, and your outcomes (both on target and "we'll get it next time"). I respect the heck out of you! ❤
*Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and emotional journey! I truly admire how open you are about life and your efforts to create a more balanced living space.* 💯💯💯❤❤❤

You truly have a beautiful way of seing things and you're so soft with yourself, it shows to me how to be more kind to myself. So thank you.
Hey Remi! I’ve been following you on TikTok for around a year now, I instantly became infatuated with your videos, you’re my comfort watch on there and only a couple of weeks ago I clicked that you’re on UA-cam. So thank you, for just creating such a safe, warm and welcoming space because you deserve every ounce of praise and penny for what you do ❤

Great idea
That's a fantastic idea
Looking like Mrs Trunchbowl with the confidence of a victorias secret model STOP IT girl you crack me up
That got me too!!!! 😂😂😂
Love from OK, USA 😘 I listen to your videos every time I declutter or deep clean and it feels like I’m on the phone with my best friend. You’re awesome and an inspiration!
Ahh this makes me so happy!! 🥰 thank you so much! ❤️
CONGRATULATIONS ON 200K followers ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
2:59 Ike pulling that box like a big boy is just the cutest!!! 😂🥰
Thank you.❤❤
It is such a freeing feeling not caring what other people think!! I wish I would have came to this conclusion earlier in life 😊
You may not have been able to do it earlier in life, but you know what to do now. That’s what matters! You rock!
@dcdominicana Thank you!!
❤ I feel the same way about Remi
Remi! Girl! Your kitchen baseboards were clean. Your cabinet doors were shining white. The woodwork is dust free. You are doing plenty right!
I love that you declutter. In the long run, it will make it so much easier to tidy up. ❤
May I suggest a foldable drying rack for clothes and one more coat rack in the closet for bags, purses, and backpacs.
The landing look so good with the new laundry baskets. 😊
Thank you so much for your suggestions and for being so generous!! ❤️❤️❤️
I know it’s not much but you’ve been such a godsend so I just wanted to say thank you! Grateful for you! Happy New Year!! ❤
Oh bless you! Thank you so so much!! I’m so grateful! I hope you have the best year ❤️
@@remiclog Thank you Remi!
I agree. I don’t often DO it, but I agree! 😹😹
I love that you’re trying to make your home Remi proof. lol.
That cracked me up when she said that.
Could you put a lower set of hooks for the boys stuff and an over the door hanger for extra shoes/hats /gloves ? Absolutely love your videos ! So refreshing to see a normal person with a normal home. Def my fav youtuber 😊
Yes! This!! Over by the door seems to be a great area to add some additional vertical storage like hooks!
And maybe some small shelves for keeping things off the floor. Perhaps each person could have a wee box or basket for hats and mitts, etc.
Ageee one set of hooks on right wall and behind door could be just for backpacks and hooks on right could be just kids coats
Making my bed every day is what saved me! Having one tiny place in my home that I can look at made all the difference in my feeling in control.
moms are superheros and i can’t wait to be one one day. 💗💗 love your accent remi! it’s so comforting to me.
as a gen x we didn’t have the classifications we have now, and to be honest with recent menopause my ADHD went from a mild 20 to 60 miles an hour (think of animal from the muppets😜) I felt insane, until I found you and others like you or I guess like me and it showed me how to cope. THANK YOU ❤❤❤ for being on here changing lives
I’m 70 years old and I learn something every time I listen to Remy. Lovely person and lovely followers, like waking up to a sunny day.
I started watching this and felt the need to clean out my refrigerator. I stopped to go do that then came back to your video. The science project in one of my drawers is gone. Lol
😂😂😂
Success!! Thanks for sharing an inspiring win. We all need that.
Really enjoy your videos. We all buy too much stuff these days, then it ends up as clutter then landfill.
You are more than welcome. It’s an honour to be able to help!
omg Remi, I have two shoe/coat cupboards in the hallway that look identical to your cupboard, I’ve been meaning to pull everything out of them for two years, but it’s too scary! Thank you for tackling yours, I’m hoping this gives me the strength to face mine 🥲 2025 is our year, girlie ❤
Thank you so so much!! Yes, it definitely is! You can do this!! 😊
I’m so happy for you, hitting 200K subscribers, and all the generosity people are showing! You deserve it! ❤
Thank you so much!! 🥹❤️
I'm so proud of you Remi! Your insight with recognizing what is not helping you and your willingness to embrace new methods will lead you to success.
Soy candles?
Ahh you got a huge amount done!
Your relationship with your daughter sounds a lot like me and my mum, she’s the same as you - things could get rocky between us when we lived together.
I think we all get on our own nerves to some extent! 😊
Thank you for being so kind, and love to you as well.
@@remiclog I remember when she was a baby and there were toys everywhere in the house, I remember this voice in my head that said “she’s a child, lighten up. And I did! I just let her be a child… there were times when she got older that I would clean up her room at her request and was always happy to help.
Love that this was posted minutes before doing the bedroom closet deep clean ive been avoiding!
Remi regardless of whether or not you are on top of everything you are a very wise young lady and very nice to listen to.❤
Hello Remi ❤ im a 27 year old mum of an 8 year old autistic son who is obsessed with making his own youtube videos that he adds to my profile.
The more i watch your videos and listen to you explaining the struggles you face, i feel like your literally describing me a lot of the time!
It’s always a great day when you post a video! You are amazing 🤩 keep it up! ❤️
Happy New Year to you all Remiiii! 🎉
Thankyou again for your videos! You’re a star. Never stop shining 🌟
Lots of Love ❤️
Haters will hate, but we love you and your chatter ❤❤
You are amazing!!!!
With clothes, what I do is to Upcycle. You could make blankets or something else out of them
I get that feeling as well with clothes.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You are doing your best and you are enough!
I’m happy when spring comes around so I can keep them outdoors.
Just wanted to say Thanks! You’re a special human and I love your videos!!❤❤
Thank you so so much!! I’m so glad you enjoy them! ❤️☺️
Thank you for a great video! Listening to you talk is like an insight into my brain, especially about the notebooks!! The thing that has helped me the most is decluttering! Having less in my life has had a huge positive impact, the less stuff around me the calmer my brain.
I love the organization with your dirty laundry. I think you’re really onto something. Wishing you all the best for 2025!❤
Thank you so much! Wishing you the same! ❤️
Goodness me, I'm in tears just reading all the wonderful messages. Congrats on 200k subs! So well deserved!
Remi! Im so happy youre back! I'm a cleaner, and i listen to you while i clean. You are a breath of fresh air dear! xoxo
I was a cleaner for years. I have so much respect for you! It’s a hard job! ❤
So glad I found your videos! You’re an inspiration. Keep doing what you’re doing.
That’s a great solution for both of you! Excellent thinking!
Congralutions on 200k!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉... many more to come. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have fibromyalgia and depression... and i love the perspective of making things work for myself instead of beating myself up for things not being done "correctly." I'm a 52 year old living in the US and you are giving me tons of inspiration. I'm rooting for you, too!!! 🎉❤
Remi,
Great job decluttering!!!
Be proud of yourself.
Enjoy the freedom.
Keep these videos coming.
Love them,
Win
I have 4 random chore wheels. They make all the difference. I'm so glad you have figured this out at your age instead of 47 like me!
What a difference a bit of decluttering makes 😳
Congratulations on reaching over 2,000; subscribers and, being in a better financial condition for a new house. Remi, You’re an absolute joy to watch and listen too. Watched your Keepy Upy video and commented. I’m now attached to your style and general demeanour. Keep up the great work. From Bristol UK.
You really are so positive. Thank you for your honesty and for keeping me company in a tough period ❤❤❤
I’m sorry for whatever you are going through. Keep pushing, it will get better. I’m old so I know this stuff. 😊❤
I’m so excited for you! Decluttering was literally one of the best things we ever did for ourselves and our kids. I hope you love it!
Love your videos! Wish I had your energy! I’m 59 years old, live by myself, but I just have no energy, lol much love from Nova Scotia🇨🇦
Congratulations Remi on your 200K🎉 You are a doll😊❤
Thank you so much!!! 😊
The new notebook comment got me🤣 I’m the exact same. I have notebooks from 2020 saying exactly same things I write now🤣
Yep, same 😂🤦🏻♀️
"...Remi-proof the house..." That's hilarious!!! I love that phrase. I absolutely adore your videos. You have really helped me understand neuro-divergent people.
Thank you Remi🙏 i really know that you will get that forever home because of your hard work , dedication and bravery 🙏😘😘
I love that, Remi proof the house. I need to do that. One step at a time.
Oh my goodness!
Ive been waiting to hear your lovely voice! Absolutely amazing!!!!!! Love the motivation! Xx
I love cleaning & decluttering videos but I love yours so much more because of your accent ! It is my fav ever. I particularly love how you say "cupboard". Anyways, very well done Remi ! You truly have a beautiful way of seing things and you're so soft with yourself, it shows to me how to be more kind to myself. So thank you.
Congratiolations to 200k! It has been a pleasure to watch the channel grow.
Thank you so much!! ☺️
Hey Remi! I’ve been following you on TikTok for around a year now, I instantly became infatuated with your videos, you’re my comfort watch on there and only a couple of weeks ago I clicked that you’re on UA-cam. I have stage 4 endometriosis and I struggle insanely with anxiety, putting my earphones on and watching your videos is my ultimate comfort and sensory time when I’m so anxious, thank god I found your UA-cam with all of the long videos, you’ve been keeping me sane whilst I’ve been in hospital for the last 7 days with a flare up.
So thank you, for just creating such a safe, warm and welcoming space because you deserve every ounce of praise and penny for what you do ❤
Mack was talking about how making his bed gives him a feeling of accomplishment, and that feeling gets a little surge every time he sees the tidy room through the day.
I could be watching your videos all day long. I love your voice and your message.
You are a good inspiration, God bless you always remember to treat yourself for being a wonderful person 😊
God i love these long ones. Cuppa tea and blanket CHECK!
remi you inspire me to never give up..might have to slow down ..but never give up!
You really are making so much progress in your home, ❤
