Julia, just want to let you know one grocery lifehack: take a minute to put couple of those bags of potatoes on a scale (they always have them in a produce aisle), you might found heavier bags with more potatoes in them. It also applicable to any type of bagged produce!

Julia, I just want to really let you know that you are making such an impact on people’s lives with these videos. You taking the time to do it, plan it, film it, etc. is helping SO many people, including myself, and I (and countless others) are so unbelievably thankful for you continuing to make these. These are beyond UA-cam videos, they’re lifesaving tools. I see some others on UA-cam trying to do similar videos, but they either aren’t as dirt cheap as these, or they’re not as accessible as your videos, etc. Yours have an insane amount of value, and for that you’re really the only one that I follow for these. I am neurodivergent so cooking is hard and planning meals is hard for me, but the way you structure the videos, show every step, and tailor them to easy/no-stress solutions is so neurodivergent-friendly.
Sort of a long comment but I just want you to know how many people truly appreciate what you do and how live-saving it is for many people who are struggling to put food on the table.
    Thank you!!!

But they do make some nice meals. I remember the video of remembering clara on youtube when she passed. Super sad but she lives on in the work she did and that her grandson documented. Hate to say it like this, but we are treading that slippery slope again, and many are going to be trapped on it shortly. Be safe where ever you are. Thanks for the comment. How did I not figure out this technique earlier in my life? I love the mom tips! I love how you cooked the pasta right in the pot.. I always did the boil and drain then cook everything else... my pasta would stick to itself and it was a mess.now I cook it in the pot like you sid... SO much better and saves on dishes!

My family is desperately trying to save on our grocery bill. We are a family of five spending easily $1000 a month on groceries and we don’t eat exorbitant amounts of food either I try to make cheap meals but I’m looking now for real ways to cut back. This will help so much. If anyone is curious, I live in UT and just added these exact items in to my Walmart cart and the total was $31.72 I was surprised that it wasn’t actually that much more than when this video was made about a year ago. Thank you for your content!

I definitely hope that my ideas help you feature larger family and cut costs at the same time! Thank you so very much for your positive comment and support and I hope you have a great rest of your week my friend💜💜💜

I love watching the budget and grocery challenges. As a Canadian in a rural town that's an hour away from a walmart, 2 hrs costsco etc I am always curious to compare grocery prices. I took into account the size of the items you were purchasing. In my town those groceries would cost me $76.60 Canadian or approx. $56.69 USD. I spend approx $175-225 a week on groceries for 2 of us. but i am always looking for more ways to save on the bill so thanks for the great content :)

I'm in Southern Ontario and the cost here is absolutely exorbitant... Have you looked into couponing? Apparently there are some great cost saving apps as well. I never really saw coupons here like they have available in the US, but there are websites you can print them off from for free! TikTok has a TON of helpful info too! All the best in these crazy times :)

My mother-in-law made the hot dog hash skillet frequently and it was excellent. She always made it about half carrots and half potatoes, which I would recommend to everyone! You can always make it "fancier" by using smoked sausage instead of hot dogs.
