You start by cooking up rice, pasta or potatoes. Then put them in the refrigerator overnight, so they cool down. Take them out the next day, and those carb-rich foods are now resistant starches. When you eat them, your blood sugar won't spike, you'll feel full quicker, and your body won't absorb as many calories.

@@Angielam81 I used to have acid reflux too. Then my granny gave me this traditional recipe: drink one third slice of lemon with a glass of water every morning right after I wake up. I thought the lemon acid would worsen and irritate my esophagus. But surprisingly, I have no more acid reflux. Maybe this could be of help.

    This is a beautiful video
    I counted 3 hacks then 4
    1) savory (protein breakfast)
    2) 1 T of vinegar in a big glass of water before a meal
    3) Veggies before a meal (vinegar+ veggies together)
    4) exercise after a starchy meal ( a walk, a dance, or calf raises)
Acetic acid / Fiber first, protein and fats second, starch third, simple sugar last
Order of operations is so important

Focused on steady supply of glucose, not spikes/rollercoaster
    1. savory breakfast focused more on protein. No sugar bf .
    2. One tablespoon of vinegar (any type of vinegar: ACV or the juice of three lemons) in a big glass of water before one of the meals. This helps to reduce the glucose spike.
    3. Once a day, a plate of vegetables at the beginning of a meal.
    4. Move around for 10 mins after one of the meals.

    Nutrion tips
    Week one:
    1.) Savory Breakfast
When we eat sweet, dopamine is released (pleasure molecule) and don’t obtain energy. The melachondria (molecules that make energy) are tired. Stressed out. Don’t make energy as effective. Savory breakfast spike energy.
With savory breakfast concentration and mood levels are stable.
    Week two:
2.) One table spoon of vinegar and a big glass of water before one of our meals a day. OR 3 lemons to get the same power of 1 tbs of vinegar (it’s less proficient tho)
Acidic acid slows down how quickly food breaks down to glucose molecules.
While doing this you reduce the glucose spike, Loosing the impact of your meal on your health.
    Week three:
3.) Once a day, before one of our meals, have a of plate of vegetables at the beginning of the meal.
Vegetables have fiber which deploys into the walls of our upper intestine creating a protective “fiber mesh” that slows and reduce the amount of glucose molecules from our food to the bloodstream.
    Week four:
4.) after one meal a day, move for 10 minutes.
(Walking around the block, cleaning, dancing, calf raises) contract the muscles!!
Muscle cells use glucose for energy. By contracting the muscles for ten mins, they soak up glucose from the meal we’ve just had.
When we get off the glucose rollercoaster… Cravings go away. Energy improves. Less hungry. Inflammation goes down. Skin problems go away. Sleep better. Hormonal issues disappear. Helps our brain funcion better.
⭐️ TIP!! You could mix hack 2 & 3, you could add a vinegar dressing to the vegetables.

I am from Manila (Philippines ) and our traditional SAVORY Filipino breakfast meal included vinegar and a hint of soy sauce with garlic or chilies as a side sauce to flavor our dried - stir fried fish or sweet meats (chicken, pork or beef) accompanied with garlic fried rice. We serve this with our Spanish hot chocolate or coffee. So it’s encouraging to learn this hack, we’ve been on this traditional breakfast meal for ages! 😊Thank you once again!
Oh I missed mentioning- I’ve been doing the savory and vinegar drink hacks ( 1 tbsp of Braggs vinegar with cold water before meals) and it works like magic. It was my mom who introduced this to me a few years back. Was a skeptic at first but listening to our Gucose Goddess here made me want to continue on.
I also try my best to eat all the veggies first (cooked or raw salads ) and limit my carbs to 3 tbsp of rice or a slice of bread midway AFTER the proteins which helped my digestion and allowed me to maintain my 143 lbs at 5’8”, and at 61 now - never been healthier, slimmer and toned. 😊
Last one, incorporating some fermented food (sauerkraut, kimchi ) with our main dish helps to make us feel more satisfied. Filipinos love “atsara” local pickled unripe papayas eaten as a side dish ) and I mix mine with sauerkraut to balance the sweetness. Great advice! Thank you!❤😊

This has been my mother all my life . Extremely moody. My father died of brain cancer uncontrollable diabetes for years . Passed 2005. He had bleeding feet. My mom almost died of diabetes April 2022 . Both my parents were unhealthy when they had us. I often feel we were doomed from birth. My brain hasn’t functioned well at all . I still can’t drive a car due to brain fog. I think G-D is FINALLY answering my prayers thru Jesse’s hacks with ACV apple 🍎 cider vinegar. Game changer. No idea where this energy has come from. I feel I have my old self back FINALLY even with severe adrenal fatigue and thyroid problems. Feel like my brain is starting to THINK. Will take MONTHS probably to SEE the full impact. Been on disability due to chronic fatigue and brain fog. Can’t work or drive. Been praying 🙏🏻 and researching like crazy . Thank G-D for Jesse.

    5. Wash it all down with a 400 ml glass of Oolong tea with one slice of lemon AND Lime.
    Wait 23 hours......repeat.

Basically you want to have a salad with vinaigrette based salad dressing (adding apple cider or balsamic vinegar) before eating carbs. Then do light exercise for 10 minutes to slow down the amount of glucose absorption as your muscles will require some glucose. Not to mention, walking and light movement can also help digestion.

Yesterday I had minor surgery and the nurse said ” make sure you eat when you get home” I didn’t have my vinegar drink…. And although I had just had surgery, I was still hungry and eating food, mostly good food…but cheese and bread. At the end of the, day I realized that my glucose had spiked all day because of I had not had my vinegar drink! I self corrected today and had all the good stuff! My experience with daily ACV ingestion is that the only difference it makes is a contribution to over-active bladder syndrome. I beat OAB by quitting ACV, reducing caffeine and alcohol intake, and counter-intuitively drinking more water, in small portions throughout the day. I'd consider try to reintroduce ACV if I could find some compelling evidence that it is the magical elixir that the pretty faces claim it to be.
