I baked this today with some twists. Added half teaspoon of vanilla and coconut extracts. Raisins for toppings and ground wall nuts. Superb! Thanks for sharing this recipe!
To those reading these comments, Mdm K's other banana cake recipe 'soft banana cake" is very nice too. Very light n soft. I'm sure this one tht has butter will be delicious too
Hello Katherine, I tried this recipe twice however my cake turn out to be really dense, not fluffy like yours. I have beated egg whites to same stiffness as yours and fold it in similarly. but the batter only rised like 1/5 so the cake is really dense when done. Wondering if it's due to the folding of the egg white or my oven issue :(

老师,我用marjerin跟你的食谱做的成功,可是我一换去Anchor或金桶牛油做就做不成为什么会这样?一出炉蛋糕就缩腰了,用marjerin就没有这样的问题。

@@KathrineKwa 不好意思,忘记了😅全部材料都是用秤的,刚开始根据你给的量,后来在减一点油,也是会出现油水分离。但面糊倒入打发的全蛋液,搅拌均均后就没出现了~

I’ve baked several of Katherine’s recipes, and generally her bakes are not overly sweet. I usually reduce just a little sugar, 10 to 15g at the most.
