A lot of other things are causing dryness too. From central heating, chlorinated water, swimming pools, overhead fans, air conditioning to diet, cold and very hot weather, hairdryers and so on.
🤔 I never mix oil & water, but my locs never retain moisture. I drink only water & tea all day everyday, idk what Im doing wrong 😢 I guess I HAVE to get a steamer? Any advice from ANYBODY would be great lol 💕
Thank you so much for the support! You can create an herbal moisturizer with the herbal hair treatments however you must add an antimicrobial essential oil to the bottle so that it will last up to 7 days.
Is there a difference between what we feel as dryness and that which is the scratchiness of the ends of our hairs? I once watched a video by a certified beautician who made a great point about curly hair feeling dry on the outside bc essentially the ends are what is being felt. Wherein as, if you put your hands on the inside of your hair - somewhere between your scalp and the ends- underneath, and judge dryness by that area one may have a different opinion about how driving had may or may not be. It seems to make sense to me, even as my hair is locked. Also, I stopped judging my locs moisture by the standard of loose natural moisture. In the beginning of my journey I very much thought my locs should feel as moisturized as my loose natural hair but it's not loose natural hair.
Definitely sounds like that video was about loose natural hair. Your locs shouldn’t be scratchy. More coily hair types (which also struggle the most with moisture) should produce spongy feeling locs when they are moisture balanced.
I would see this notification right AFTER I just spritzed my hair with Dr. Locs Jinan Moisture Mix! So "no" to that product? It has distilled water, some carrier oils and some essential oils combined! Now I feel like I need to wash my hair!😭
drop a "1" in the comments if you feel like your locs are dry!

I love the Crown Elements Moisture Infusion!
I LOVE YOU YOU SAVED THE LIFE OF MY DREADS GANG☮️❤
I need help with my dryness and this video was right on time
1 My locs are colored but I do this less because of the drying effect. My locs feel like a prickly bush when they are on my back (shirt or no shirt)
Glycerin based products!! Luster's S Curl activator-cheap, cheap, and can penetrate the hair shaft!
What about the black castor hemp oil

What shampoo are you using?
How do you feel about aloe vera?
Do ship to the UK?
What is wrong with glycerin? To use or not to use? Please help. Thanks.💕
Essential oils are concentrated fragrances and not for human consumption . Carrier oils are edible and used for cooking.
I just ordered the herbal tea rinses(both) and I was wondering if I can use it as a spray throughout the week??

So are you suggesting water-based product followed up with oil?
Is this recommended for locs that aren’t mature? I’m only 8 months in.
Yeah it’s a general recommendation that will apply for people with dry hair
Does Heritage "vortex water" Rose water mix with carrier oils any better? Or is it just fancy water?

Wow this is why they never worked it makes sense now guess my locs simply just don't need oil all the money I wasted on locsanity oil moisturizers 😢
What is a good one to get?
My favorite moisturizer: bit.ly/moisture-infusion-for-locs
