I used a quarter sized amount of cream rinse out conditioner on my 2 year old locs for the first time last week. And my goodness what a difference. My hair feels like actual hair again and not like scratchy straw. I don’t have colored treated hair but I live in the desert with hard water 😢
Ya see now, I was schooled NOT to use cream conditioner in my locs due to the need to avoid build up... But this herbal rinse now👀 Lemme at it! So grateful you shared this 💗
I've been washing and conditioning my locs and I'm 4yrs in December 19th ❤. I have color treated hair and used a protein treatment in the beginning. Now I use a cream conditioner.
I’ve used rinse out conditioner from the start. Just recently I started using aphogee leave in with a misting bottle and it’s been amazing for winter dryness. I have no buildup. But I do what works for me.
I condition my locs with watered down cream conditioner the just for me silkening conditioner is what I use it smells great and I don’t have build up I wash my hair every 2 weeks I also spray the same mixture for my leave in with a little bit of glycerin mixed in people always touch my locs and tell me how they’re so soft and how they weren’t expecting locs to feel soft
@@damia.5974 Yes i did but only once a month for thr first 6 months then i did each time i wash my hair, just dilute it with water or get a water base one and it wont get trapped in your locs.
Would you please explain why no tap water for the hair tea. Even if it has been boiled? If people using tap water to cleanse is it not same. Thank you for the video ❤
I shampoo and condition and have no problems. The problem is when you DON'T do these things. The problem is when you don't do these things then you have icky locks but no judgements, I just have a standard after drying what icky locks from neglecting them looks like.
I’m mixing my tea as you’re talking about tea rinsing. I made mine with equal parts marshmallow root, hibiscus, chamomile, nettle leaf, mullein leaf, rosemary, fenugreek seeds, whole grain oats, and horsetail. Steeped it in drinking water and aloe vera juice. I tend to keep a bunch of herbs in stock so I really didn’t have to go out of my way for the ingredients. Side note: It’s all natural so I tasted it and it’s pretty good… a little bitter and sweet. Maybe add some brown sugar or honey and BOW 💥 good stuff! 😁

Hello! Love your channel. Okay, so we’re not to use tap water for the herbal rinse.. are we still using tap water to wash our hair? Could you please share an updated wash day routine? Thank you!
I have baby starter brotherlocs ™️ and i’m going to start it. but don’t tell the Sisterlocs ™️ headquarters because i’ll be fired from the place of employment😂
Hi Jocelyn, I have a quick question. I am 4wks in with coils & my hair was coloured about 5 months before beginning my loc journey. I assume it was bleached but was told the colour was gently ‘lifted’. I ordered your herbal rinse but wondered if I need a cream conditioner as you mentioned here. Thank you.
I condition and deep condition my locs. I treat my locked hair like my loose natural hair and I don’t have any build up
Me too
What product's do you use?

#1. I dilute my conditioner in a basin then soak my hair and rinse thoroughly after.
I love this idea❤
Ooh! I wanna try this.
Others say condition others say don’t condition and I am tired of the back and forth

Thanks for sharing. I currently don't condition, but I have been thinking about it 🤔
Locs don't need condition. It will make them weak. Use natural oils on the scalp only. Then use yogurt, and wash it out
