  • Hey, Hey! My name’s Tanny, but people call me TannyRaw.
    19 years ago I switched from a Standard American Diet to whole-foods plant-based. 14 years ago, I transitioned into an entirely low fat raw vegan lifestyle and I haven’t looked back since.
    Changing my food to strictly whole raw healthy living greens, plant fats, and fruits healed me from a host of auto-immune diseases and chronic gut and health issues.
    Within less than a year, I lost 86 pounds and could finally move without experiencing pain. My skin cleared, I gained a head full of thick curly hair, and experienced a dramatic change in my eye color! Just a handful of the benefits I’ve enjoyed from a purely raw diet.
    I’m sharing everything I know about low-fat raw vegan & the “Do different. Get Different” mindset because nothing feels as good as health does and I want this for you.

    You teach in such a loving manner with lots of compassionate wisdom. I’ve had to continue to tweak - with sleep troubles and some health issues. Also learned one has to be compassionate with self

    Tanny for breakfast this morning I ate four cups of spinach three plums and four peaches off our tree and it only came to 264 cal 8 1/2 g of protein 11 g of fiber 21 carbs I’m full . It was delicious . Thank you for continuing to put content out there for us 😘💛

    Would you consider doing a UA-cam about beauty updates? Like how you do your eyebrows and face makeup (and have you started wearing invisalign?)? You look lovely, and I'm not gonna lie - some of my motivation to ditch salt and eat more like you is to look more like you-not in a creepy way!!! Promise! Lol

    Thank you Tanny! That's exactly the encouragement and clarification I needed to hear! I always find it overwhelming and hard to eat enough calories and feel satisfied on a raw diet, especially while being on a budget and not having access to super good quality fruits but you gave me some good inspiration there! And the vision that this is indeed doable and doesn't have to be complicated! So thank you again! ❤️

    It was bright and early here (half past midnight in Sydney) when you went live today! Sorry I missed it, but I was happy to see I had a new video to watch when I woke up 🌞
    Today is 30 days Raw for me! I'm still working on it, trying to feel my best. I am moving more this month but I'm not finding I want to eat more... Is that normal on Raw? I'll keep working on it 😉👍 Today I'm going to make a dressing using wakame for the first time!
    I love seeing the bears! They're so cute! It's fun seeing wildlife overseas ❤️🐻
    Edit: loved the squirrel at the end too 😀

    Also, I'm really struggling with how to do it. I'm looking at your vids and taking notes but some are so long and it feels overwhelming b/c there are so many and hard to get well, as you say, everything I need and nothing I don't. I have like seven illnesses and already eat quite a few greens and vegan and no processed foods but I'm trying to keep my job and care for my terminally ill mom. I can't afford your courses. I would love a beginners video or series; I've looked and I can't see any even though I appreciate the rebounder play lists and the like, etc.

      I feel the same. I have watched all her videos and most many times. I can't afford the course either but I need someone to make a meal plan for me for just a day or 2 so until I understand and can figure it out on my own. I don't care if I eat the same things everyday, at least it might help me understand better on what to do so I get enough nutrients.

    Whenever I eat more calories than I need, I get a headache. It's really strange. If I've been sedentary all day and then try to eat the amount of food I would normally eat on an active day, I will actually get a headache. Weird, huh?

    Calories and "nutrition" are only part of it as I'm sure you know.
    Eating a species appropriate diet; not eating the same food over and
    over and developing a food sensitivity as a result is another possible
    factor and any weakness such as a thyroid imbalance (hypo-thyroid)
    resulting from eating the wrong food and building up too many acid toxic
    wastes is part of it. What the medical profession misses is the very
    important factor of DETOX. All mammals need to detox. If you can't
    detox, adding "nutrition" isn't going to do much. What we need to be
    eating is what our GI tracts are designed to digest. Dogs are true
    omnivores but humans are only omnivoorish frugivores.
