When great musician meets superfan, a star is born. Keep going...spiral out.
The drumming alone is sensational. Those polyrhythms = 🔥
I can only imagine how much better a musician you already are since this recording.
That’s a thoughtful comment man. Thank you I appreciate you for that. 🙏🤘
This is possibly the greatest thing I've ever seen on UA-cam. Mind-blowing!
This is the best Tool cover I have ever seen. So talented. I thought the 46&2 kids cover was really good many years ago, and more recently the Right in Two cover by Beard of Harmony. All awesome, but this cover of Lateralus is completely full of talent, filthy af and insane.
Wow - I mean I watched this so many times in a row, this is totally SICK !!! (in a good way) this has to be one of the best, most frightingly accurate cover of Lateralus I have ever heard, in fact most parts virtually identical to the original, the drumming absolutely amazing, but I am very shocked and disappointed at one thing - your views !!! I mean how ? How do the fake and horrible UA-cam videos get million of views, and you have only 32.9K - you should get millions of subs. This is my favourite song from Tool, so you have a sub from me, I didn't expect this.
As a fellow musician of all instruments also I can accurately say your very talented. You will go far in this business. Don’t get old and give up like I did.
Its never too late
you're not old
@@bilomium thanks but at 40 after a crazy life of playing the bar scene since I’ve been 14 and doing construction my whole life I feel like I’m 60 lol. I probably still got it in me. I retired from gigging a few years ago and just can’t seem to find the time or energy to be married to 4 other dudes to get another one going. I still occasionally do acoustic gigs but pretty rare anymore. However if I ever get good at editing I’d like to do what this cat is doing. I play just about any instrument I can get my hands on as well and make UA-cam videos but never messed around with sound engineering and overdubbing sound or video. Still a noob when it comes to that. I’m learning tho.
@@centralpametaldetectorist289 You can do it, man. Keep it going!
Thanks so much man! I believe in you, keep going with your passion, like these guys said it’s never too late. Get it!!!! 🤘🤘
Apex Tool here; Lateralus a personal favorite of mine. Mega challenging to cover because of Danny’s intricate time signature interlude thingy @ 4:50. Blasted through it like the proverbial hot knife through butter. All your instruments on point. Bravo, love your work.
This is incredible
I've lost count of how many times I've listened/watched this since its release....
Simply one of the coolest things on the whole damn internet
Yes! That was so good. Watched the whole thing. Such a journey of a song. Amazing job on the recreation of the tones. And wow, drumming skills. Seriously wtf. All around great performance on all instruments and Voice but the drums steal the show on this one. 🤯
Ridiculous. Unmatched talent my friend, keep ‘em comin’ 🤘
Hope you’re still killin it man!!
@@dramaface I’m trying haha Hope all is well in your world! 🤘
@@CameronWinters sweet man whatcha been up to!? Any new musical endeavors?
@@dramaface Yeah man! I’m in a band called Atonian with a couple of the other Tool guys. How about you? Ive been out of the scene a minute.
@@CameronWinters that’s sick dude, congrats to you guys! Been well man, just grinding it out!
If i closed my eyes this sounds like the studio version dude, 10/10
What i love is this Gentleman is clearly an absolute nerd for this type of thing. And its brilliance is outstanding. We need more nerds like this to make the world happier.
Thanks
I highly recommend listening to his other project Dimphonic!! Wow...
By far the best Tool tribute to date! Fantastic Job!
As many have said, this is just amaizing in every way, but I really want to emphazise the drum mix, it is FLAWLESS
This is at least the hundredth time I've watched this and I never get tired of watching this. First song I saw you do and it inspired me to search Dramface recordings and found your other stuff(Dimphonic, Deftones covers, Bizcuit covers, etc, etc.) I have not found anything you have done that I dislike. I hope your still out there doing what you do. Patiently waiting for more........ Anyhow THANKS , most appreciated for your work!!

uncontrollably laughing, in an out-loud manner 🤘🏼🤣 dead.
10/10 best internet comment I've seen in ages. Maybe best of 2020. Take your bow.
best replay ever
Lmao
Just lost my mind seeing this recommendation! Today marks 1 year of Fear Inoculum, the song as well. 💜💜🔥🔥
Sensational job again fellas! 🤘
*Fella.
Absolutely amazing...huge TOOL fan for about 25 years and no one has covered them like this!
Swing on the spiral my man. Keep making music. You've got a gift that very few people have. Let's. Fucking. Go.
Just AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Appreciate it man!!
I've seen a lot of covers for this song and Bro I gotta say, this is the best one ! Legendary.
Thanks man 🙏
Absofuckinglutely incredible!!! LOVE THIS!! You & the “clones” are so very talented! Can’t wait to see more!
Bro WTF!! That's was all around flawless!! Very impressive 👏!!!
Holy shit. This is so impressive. Like I’m speechless. 30 year Tool fan and I’ve never heard a cover this precise. Kudos. I’m gonna play this for my other Tool Army friends without showing them until 1/2 way just to see the look on their face. Excellent job 🌀🌀🌀
That was awesome. Difficult times can bring bring out true brilliance.
That time when UA-cam removed your Stinkfist clone cover because it thought it was the real thing
This. Is. Sick. Wow. 🔥🔥
This is the best Tool over on UA-cam
Brannon is a master musician and technologist!!!
Dude! I got goosebumps like I do with the original! I'm a drummer, do went in sceptical of how your drummer would play it. Most drummers on a tool cover song, just do what they can to stay with the theme of the song and keep up with the rest of the band. In my opinion, your drummer nailed it! As in I can tell he actually studies, practice and tried to get as close to Danny as possible. And I think he did! Then I hear the rest of the band and was like, whoa! They are killing it too!!!! Great job all of you!
Holy shit! Just saw through the comments that it's the same guy🤯🤯🤯
@@CHolder6081 yeah one guy apparently and totally fuckin destroys it. If this is legit, and it looks to be, the man is a full blown freak. Bloody greatness
