    If you're looking to alleviate arthritis symptoms, consider including these popular anti-inflammatory foods:
    - Fatty fish rich in omega-3s, like wild salmon, sardines, anchovies, and mackerel
    - Berries
    - Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, and kale
    - Nuts and seeds
    - High-quality olive oil (preferably cold-pressed, virgin varieties)
    - Beans
    - Spices like garlic, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper.

    FEATURED RECIPES -
    Breakfast:
    Mix together chia seeds, flaxseed, psyllium flakes, 1 teaspoon of honey, and cashew nut milk. Once set, top it with strawberries, pecans, and nut butter.
    Lunch: Mediterranean Quinoa Salad
    1/2 cup cooked quinoa
    1/4 cup diced cucumbers
    1/4 cup halved cherry tomatoes
    2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
    2 tablespoons sliced olives
    LEMON-HERB DRESSING
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon dried oregano
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    Dinner: Turmeric Salmon with Cherry Sauce
    SALMON:
    1 teaspoon turmeric
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
    1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    1 bunch broccoli
    1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    FOR THE CHERRY SAUCE:
    1 1/2 cups cherries
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tablespoon water

    I'm totally with you Fern on this. Since upping my protein, cutting way down on carbs and omitting any sugar from my diet I feel so much better and y back pain has virtually gone. I've also dropped 17 lbs in weight ( I put weight on and so did the rest of the family after getting covid twice, the doctor confirmed it can alter your metabolism). I also suffered from terrible acid reflux and this has almost gone. This way of eating and drinking lots of water has changed my life. Bring on the anti inflammatory diet!!! Love your recipes xx

    Excellent... tip: you do need to grind the flaxseed fresh to break the shell... coffee grinder is good for small portion.

      When you soak the flaxseeds like this it actually releases the oil , so no , you do not need to grind the whole flaxseed . Better to consume it the way Fern shows as seed itself creates greater fibre than when ground . Test it .... cover a handful of whole flaxseeds with small amount of water ; have a shower ( or leave overnight ... It will release the oil and be a gelatinous viscous mixture in no time . Best way

      I’m a little late watching this video but yes you must grind the flaxseed.

      @@lindapelle8738 WRONG . The only ones wanting u to believe that are the sellers of the expensive fs oil or the ground meal . Once shell of seed is broken the shelf life is diminished by exposure to light , oxygen . Consume whole .....our biological digestive juices are far more powerful than we give them credit for . Do you also grind your sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and pepita/pumpkin seeds before consuming ?? . They ALL release their multiple benefits via our teeth, saliva, stomach acids , intestinal juices .....a far more powerful piece of perfect engineering than any grinder will ever be

    Well after watching your video I am happy to say this morning I woke up , had a good cup of coffee and walked in my house for 20 minutes. I live in 100 degree heat so if I don’t do first thing it doesn’t happen. I am in PAIN. Knees. Back. Feet. Terrible. So hopefully I will start to feel better. Thank you very much !❤️

    I started eating anti inflammatory 3 weeks ago because of chronic back pain too. I was also feeling like an old lady and just lacked quality of life. It’s amazing how much better I felt just after a few days. Excited to see how I feel even further in my journey.

    Good evening. Fern, I really wasn't aware that's your back issue was so intense that you were on painkillers. That was new information to me. I am so thankful that you were able to investigate your way into a solution. You are always doing so very many things, your focus was so varied. Now with your lifestyle change for the moment you have allowed us to see what really happened physically. I'm so sorry that you suffered so badly . It is terrific that you are feeling so much better. To be sure your recipes will be appreciated by so many. They do seem very interesting. Thank you for this honest and informative perspective❤! It has been so busy here. It's almost 6 in the evening & I'm just able to catch up with you. One thing at a time if you can, is such an advantage. We have so much daylight now. Approximately 16 hours of daylight. This is the first day of Summer. The growth is amazing. Some rain but not enough. Seems usually when I write it is raining. Not today. I would like to wear out that new umbrella! There were some very interesting combinations of flavours that I must try cinnamon and turmeric. Thank you for the recipes. I will look at them soon. Good presentation. StayWell pretty lady.

      Unfortunately, yes! I was taking pain killers during the evening and when I woke up through the night 😞 not a good time but so glad it’s over!

    Hi Fern,need to do something as Im in pain every day. I think I eat healthy, love veggies, salad, dont eat red meat but I do eat bread, need to cut that out. Have started eating sugary gummy sweets, not like me but Ive noticed Ive been worse the last while. Its good to know a diet like this works. Thankyou. x

    Same here, eating highly processed white carbs, sugar, smoked meats, or fried foods really caused me pain before. That quinoa salad looked delicious 😋 Great video, keep up the great work and stay blessed! ❤😊

    Great content delicious healthy recipes I love fish so much I use flaxseed a lot & the oil also , I have Osteoarthritis my poor hands so much pain but watch everything I eat I use cinnamon a lot too .....thank you Fern keep these wonderful vlogs coming ....🇨🇦

    Your so young to have all these aches and pains! I can't drink any liquor because it makes me have headaches and feel achy. Sad I can't drink margaritas anymore. Only the virgin drinks.

    You do healthy meals , why do you take supliments ? I hate when you advrtise collagen, someone who eats healthy meals your body doesn't produce any more collagen only calories and they are expensive too. Please instead you eat more egg whites ! Omelette with egg white!
