You have a keen eye. While the old exhaust was off I did respray the damaged swing arm, made it all look pretty again, yes moving the exhaust up would avoid this in the future. Maybe I should just not drop it. 👍😂
Hi Rodney! T7's are awesome sounding machines, and enhancing them is the way to go and amplify that CP2 beat. I like the look of the one you fitted. Great to chat at the Open Roads Rally. 👍😁
I sometimes wonder if Yamaha have shares in Black Widow. The OEM silencer is so ugly on such a good looking bike that I can't imagine who would leave it on.
That's a great word for it, "mean" I love the growl when I'm on the bike just sounds so good, the microphone doesn't do it justice. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the vid 👍 I went with the 230 oval. Great pipe for a great price. Had their headers on for a while but ended up putting the stock headers back on.
Hi Rodney, based on this video I bought the same exhaust. Thanks for the review. Quick question on the mounting. Did you use the space for the hanger to move the baffle out, or did you add the spacer to the inside of the exhaust hanger? I added it on the outside to great more space for the swingarm as I was worried it would touch the link pipe when bottoming out the rear shock.
I've put the spacer on the inside of the exhaust hanger to push it out further from the swing arm. This works well. Funny story I recently put my Bumot pannier rack on the bike for a bike adventure. The exhaust with the graphite tip in the video was too wide and was touching the pannier frame, so I pulled out the second exhaust I purchased and used that instead. Maybe it was fate I ordered both of them.😁 Thanks for watching.
@@MileMunchinAdventures yea I really like that dirt style can too. Fits the bike so well. I’m going with soft luggage once I’ve made my mind up between kriega and enduristan (and the bloody size), but at 90kg my next step is suspension/springs. Keep up the vids!
I know it has nothing to do with it, but I saw that you cut the tubes attached to the passenger footrests of the luggage rack. How is it going? Any problems with load?
That exhaust looks amazing! I can't wait to hear what it sounds like.
Touch up paint for the swingarm hey? New pipe position will avoid it this time?
Nice looking pipe.

Looks and sounds great!
Any idea how much lighter it is than the stock unit?
Looks and sound great 👏
Very nice Rodney, sounds sweet. Kinda like Josh over on mvdvr.
Great video mate, just ordered the same pipe.
Thanks you'll love the sound of the pipe, I still smile everytime I start the bike.👍

Great to see you Bob sorry we didn’t get to chat longer. 👍
Hi there, what was the product code of the exhaust? Was it SC30H by chance?

who's rear Turn signals?
Sounds pretty mean mate!
Such a good sounding engine, I had the Arrow on mine when I had it.

Good stuff.
And why is it we can get stuff from UK quicker than getting stuff from a few km from home in Oz?
It’s so true and doesn’t make sense, does it?
Thanks for the vid 👍

Why did you end up taking the headers off?
I’d like to know why you removed the black widow header as well

Thanks for watching and sending a question. To date I haven’t had any issues at all. It’s very strong without those supports.
@@MileMunchinAdventures ok thanks. I'll do the same because it's very noisy that in off road stand this tubes touch my legs.
Did you change your Swingarm during the video?
No I gave it a clean and sprayed it with black paint to cover up the wear mark from my old exhaust rubbing against the swing arm.
Without a doubt, the T7 is the best sounding adventure bike on the market!
Couldn’t agree more. 👍🙏
My Africa Twin would disagree. 😊
