Sounds amazing
Awesome video! Hope you are happy with it, I love mine
I’m going to take it for a ride over the next couple of days so I will see how I get on with it, wether the bike feels lighter, quicker? Or just louder 😂
Solid!
I want to upgrade so bad, I just don’t want to loose my stealthy sound! This is the closest to an option I have come though. Thanks.
Sounds nice and more braap. Do you know how much weight it saves?
Wow.. I'm not looking at the bike..I am but not all the time.
Appreciate the video 😊
Same
I replaced the rusted out stock exhaust on my 1992 FZR1000 with Black Widows downpipes and the largest silencer as it supposedly was "slightly louder" than the oem. That was way too loud for me and i just ordered an internal baffle too. Hopefully it will make a noticeable difference at near idle as well as on a little revs. Thanks for the vid!
Hello,
did second baffle make big difference? I'm about to buy Black Widow 300mm slipon to my CRF300L to make it little louder and more bassy, but don't want it too loud. Thanks!
@@royalcracovian Initially I thought it only made a small difference, but as I rode around for a while I realized that all situations I earlier perceived as too loud now was well within what I thought was acceptable. It shifted the noise level from annoying the neighbours to not turning their heads anymore when riding off. No noticeable change in powerband either, but then again I ride as someones grandma :)
One thing I've noticed with the 300L is that they like a little bit of back pressure. I removed end cap sound baffle on yoshimura & it sounded just like your black widow. Thinking making it more free-flowing would improve performance unfortunately I lost top end and a little bit of grunt down low opening up the exhaust.
Did you only change exhaust? A little airbox modification and ECU flash/tuner would bring back that top and bottom end :)
@@andrewfuschino6507 dude I did everything. 550 performance ECU air box this ain't my first rodeo bro, you need some back pressure is my point rain Man
Still much louder than stock. Light an quiet would be great, but I guess that would be tricky to build an the demand wouldnt be very high.
Fa sempre piacere vedere un bello scarico 😇
what made you switch from the arrow?
Seriously need both baffles to keep healing intact, nuts.
Great clip showing volume differences, many thanks
How tall are you and what is your inseam?
Did you notice any performance enhancement? The DB killer is like a potato, and is not open all the way?
useful video thanks for saving my money saving 2 kg and have 28db louder all day long definitely not tet friendly i rather loose 2 kg myself! also is worth mentioning that you loose a bit of fuel efficency and no cat so way more pollution
Yeah not worth it really, If I’d seen a video like this before I probably wouldn’t have bothered either.
It would be very informative if you could do dyno runs with both to see what they do to your torque curves. More sound does not help much if you decrease low end torque. And if you go fast.....well you have a habit of falling off and breaking your hand... :poke: (I'm a wee bit biased towards quiet as my riding buddy has a Kawasaki 250 with a baffleless FMF pipe. I can't ride behind him. It's really loud)
I don’t think I’ll Dyno it as I’m not bothered about power gain of there is any, I wanted to save weight and it not be loud so I’m happy with it.
Tnx for the video. Are you happy with it?
Yes, after a ride out today I do love it, but only with the main and secondary baffle installed, it looks great, it’s lighter and not too loud. Can’t notice any power difference yet but only had a short test ride.
@@nrdbikes nice to hear that you like it. And I think I looks great on the bike to😁👌
Where did you get it from?
How much does the Exhaust cost ?
About £250 for the one I have, plus the secondary baffle £30, it’s not a full system, just the silencer and link pipe.
Is that the 300 or 400 mm can?
I think it’s the 300
one baffle for me please.
Sounds like the stock exhaust ditch those baffles
