Anyone can apply for the 5 year elite irrespective of their age.
Thailand a great place to live but it is becoming obvious that we are not wanted here anymore. 1 million to 5 million is ridiculous, and the 5 year for a million it is just not worth it, no benefit anymore
,20 year visa 5 times more expensive, i really hope nobody will buy that anymore, since it's legal to smoke cannabis, the new government must be smoking too ,High life= HIGH PRICES, IT will be the Philippines for sure!!!
So the 5 year elite visa is no longer available? If so as a retiree It don't matter to me I only stay in Thailand 5 months a year anyway.I avoid rainy season.143k that is too much.I need that for my food and beverages for the next 20 years throughout southeast asia.
Thailand is moving to worldwide taxation from 2025, and has implemented tax on all money remitted in 2024 as a transitional step. This visa is now worthless. You get the nightmare of entering a third world tax system, and getting tax on up to 35% of what you earn anywhere in the world whilst a tourist .….. and all this for US$25,000 for 5 year plus substantial accounting fees …. Look carefully at taxes situation in Thailand before consider coming. Don’t listen to the misinformation about double taxation agreements. You will pay more tax if you come. Most are finding it’s better just to stay home or go to another long stay hub.
Lol wtf 😂.... Someone has lost their ever loving mind
İ understand that Thailand 🇹🇭 want more “rich”people to come and live in their country but there will be also a big arrival of mafia, drug dealers, blacklisted people with this new visa program.
And i hope for you Hailey more “customer”untill 15 september, you will have more work for this 2 weeks.
💛❤️🇹🇭🙏
