the prices on these is INSANE!!!!! People wanted prefabs to save money, now we are paying the cost of a whole house for a garage sized building? what is going on here
What do you think greed selfishness love of money exactly tiny homes were astounding low cost now because lots of people are interested or doing it the greedmongers and fraudsters are trying to cash in when in reality your nation should provide each individual or married couple with a free home free power water and monthly farm shopping if they don't grow own crops
Awesome looking place ,but I apologize for complaining but I thought tiny homes were supposed to be affordable this 600 Sq foot cost as much as regular 1500 beginning homes in sw ga.i thought the whole movement was/ is to be debt free/ lower footprint. .I admit this very nice tho a fan seems boxable, rhombus and dwell give best bang for the buck 😅
Kerry, as you continue to review builds, and builders, please also consider the model's hardiness to withstand extreme heat/cold environments. Also HVAC options (if I was pre-installing slab flooring/foundation, I'd love to have in-floor heat!). Thx
That looks really slick. I love the concrete floor and the high ceilings. It's nice and modern and it's great to see it actually installed on a real home site.
I like this one. I would need a w/d but other than that it has everything I would need. I do like the beams. Size is relative. If you are moving here from a 3,000 square foot house it's very tiny. If you are coming from living in a 240 square foot tiny house it's huge. 😄
It's beautiful. Definitely a getaway to enjoy. I'd skip the hot tub and put in a stackable washer/dryer and folding table bumpout b/c I'd be outdoors kidlike and clumsy through the forest or on the shore all day every day and I pack light. : )
I really do like this model. The beams give a sturdy feel and great ceiling height. Speaking of storm proof - what is the best geodesic dome home prefab you have seen? Thanks again!
No to the black hardware showing on the beams when there are so many beams to begin with. No to the huge blank exterior wall. Love the black and wood look and the size of the home. Not my favorite, but I do appreciate your time making these for us, Kerry!
Thanks Kerry!! Really like the beams! however really needs windows that open, and on both side for cross ventilation and light. Floor heating, walk in shower, nice!
Looks great, good layout, adequate size. What more does most of us need? (Haven't had a TV since 1967 and all along I've been a fairly normal city type.)
I appreciate they put their $400/sf price tag right in their FAQ's. for that alone thank you thank you because ti saves me the time. And I assume it saves the company time. Weeds out people looking to spend $40-$100/sf....or $200 or $300....so a 500sf house costs $200k......no thank you....
It’s lovely and bright and just enough room but my concern is lack of windows that can be opened to allow fresh air. I don’t feel comfortable in hotel rooms with sealed windows and this would give me the same feel

Good afternoon Kerry. I've been following your show for quite some time, and first, thank you for all the leg work you have done for us all who are interested in the tiny homes. I want you to know I really appreciate it. I have a question for you. I live in Riverside County California, and I have been trying unsuccessfully to find a tiny home, or a module home, a prefabricated Modular Home on Amazon, and/or a Prefab Modern Tiny House 20ft and 40ft Modular Cabin House, Tiny Home, B&B, Office, Kiosk, Pool House, bar, Outdoor Living (40X8X8 FT (Shell)), white, modpod2030. Where can I go to physically walk through one of these tiny homes? I see the tiny homes online, and I watch all of your videos and I believe that those homes are real, however, I have been unable to find one tiny home. Do you know where I can find a tiny home in my area that I can physically inspect that is not a manufactured home? Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
This may seem a lil out there but if u really want a tv I would try to design a hinge bracket attached to one of the pillars fold it up when not in use and when u want to watch the boob tube bring it down to a acceptable viewing range ? It’s a thought
@10:28, that space could also store tall objects such as a cleaner or ironing board. The shelf is somewhere that suitcases could go. @11:04, a door in the bedroom, I think not. I think that the kitchen takes up too much space at the expens of actual living.
I have watched many of your videos and I keep asking myself; wouldn't be very usefull to the viewers, if Kerry would get himself a measurring tape (digital one) and instead of just informing the viewers about the total square footage, he would also mention the width and lenght of the building (or show a simple drawing with measurments). I am sure that would help many people who like to build their own units as a DIY or their location is far away in order to purchase one.
Beautiful presentation. Ludicrous price. I understand it's expensive to start up, but the first hundred customers should not have to foot the entire bill.
Yo can have also a close laser pryector close to window with an automatic rolling screen just over the window for have a big tv, without losing any space, is minimalist and have cienema at same time
Their website says starting costs are $400 per sq/ft so a 600 sq/ft unit is going to set you back at least $240,000.00 not including the land. Seems kinda steep even in this economy where a cheeseburger is $8.00
Great video but alas I respectfully disagree. That entry wall looks like a semi trailer. The vertical glu-lams confound any furniture placement. A few tweaks and it will be great however.
Needs windows that actually open. The bathroom window is the only window that opens. No washer and dryer hookup? I don't particularly care for all the white interior, I'd much rather see more of a cabin-like interior. The interior beams are very cool. Nearly $250k is pretty ridiculous, though.
Hey Kerry, I am looking for a tiny house on wheels to bypass permits. Is there a legitimate company you like? How about a review of one in the 30 foot range?
Kerry. I am not impress with the way the beams are tired together. Giving it a warehouse look. I am not a big fan of visible metal straps and the exposing bolts bring the open beams together. Giving it a industrial appearance. White kitchen cabinets and counter top and white island! To sterilize looking. Cold looking. It lacks warmth and texture. The fire place could of been place on the wall facing toward the large front window. Enjoying a fire place in the kitchen? I have a eye for detail. My recommendation, go back to the drawing table and rethinks some of the things I mentioned. Kerry you would of made a good Ford Edsel salesman. I like the windows, and the ceiling high. the front is okay. The medal plates with the bolts sticking out, needs to go.
5:40 you want to look out the window all night? A place that doesn't have a good spot for a 70 or 80 or 85 inch television AT EYE LEVEL while seated (not up by the ceiling) is simply poorly designed.
@@UnexpectedInquisition guess for LA it's affordable: most everywhere else it's not?
