Kerry what an amazing video you created! Love the way you explain details! I just returned from Nova Scotia and had the opportunity to tour this factory and walked through this home just before it left factory. I also toured through all the other homes in the factory. The quality craftsmanship of these homes are above and beyond spectacular!! The height of the ceilings when standing inside with all the windows and the clean lines really impressed us. The width also is a huge difference. I was checking out container homes as a possibility. They are so narrow and absolutely no comparison. I’m definitely not interested in those now after I experienced and saw these. Wow!! These homes are top notch!! Jonathan and Cara-Lee are so passionate how they create design and build these homes in their factory. Also how they ship nationwide off grid back country islands you name it. Myself and my partner are absolutely going to have one of these homes built for sure. We where scouting for land in NS as well. Would be perfect for us our families friends or we can AirBnB rent short term to generate income. So many options. Very exciting!! Thanks so much for sharing this video. This certainly confirms how we feel in our hearts it’s the best option for us! If you have the opportunity to see in person I highly recommend it👍👍👍

Great video Kerry, as was your previous one from your NS visit! Kudos to you for going the extra mileage (figuratively and literally 😉) Being Nova Scotian residents ourselves, the Mrs and I fell in love with Lloyoll's designs and quality since first discovering them many moons ago. Although, while their pricing is outside of our budget, we can tell that you certainly get what you pay for in terms of the excellent build quality.

      A. Permit to build or deliver on site? (Example California charges $75-$125,000 for a permit
      B. Cost of site preparation and foundation $25k-$55k?
      C. Cost of the water, electricity and sewage system connection? $15-$20,000?😮

Is it me or does this manufactured home really bring the living space outside to increase the actual area? Or, maybe what’s missing is a patio with glassed in walls and a roof. Love this look, and of course their prices are a little on the high side, but you did warn us before hand. My only complaint is you never discussed the water and sewage hookup process, you only talked about them not having electricity? So in your next video concerning this manufacturer, please go over the details and process of installing water and sewage systems along with the type of foundation? Pier, post or concrete slab? Don’t get so excited that you forget to give your followers the full details Kerry, it’s like what is the point of being on the road if we your audience don’t get the full picture, because you are turning flips from actually being able to live in one for a few days, then see another one actually being installed 😂😂😂😂😂!

Great video of a beautiful home. Any idea on the cost of this custom build? Seems that the quality prefabs are starting to surpass the cost of site-built homes of similar size & quality. We started watching your channel when we were considering a prefab for our property when we come off the road next year, but instead opted for a local builder and a lot of sweat equity to keep the costs down. We still love watching your videos for design inspiration and to see what’s out there. Keep ‘em coming and love the “on location” videos!

Kerry, that was awesome. The home is beautiful and you did a great job of showing how homes are set up. If they did, they would double their sales immediately over the drab decades old designs that are still being built. 👏🏾

    • @richardavery2244
      @richardavery2244 9 місяців тому

McKinley, some mobile home manufacturers are switching over to building prefabricated modular homes as we speak or text🎭 because they already have the production facilities in place and the construction techniques for building mobile homes is similar to prefabricated modular homes. Only the wall, floor and ceiling framing is different. Replacing stoves, refrigerators and microwave ovens, along with bathroom fixtures and plumbing is different! And it’s more profitable to build modular permanent foundation type units!

Very interesting & thorough. Is the loft like a crawlspace? 10 years ago I worked on coordinating 8 pre-fabbed duplexes in 2 towns & it worked so well that we used it in other communities. I think i need to see how they're holding up. One home developer in Massachusetts found out a certain adhesive was used between floors, resulting in fires. Now there are stricter Pre-fab design laws.

I’m assuming that’s CDN, and if so, that’d be the US equivalent of $266,060.39 (if US $ bought & delivered the home to Nova Scotia, remember).
(Kerry can correct me if that $359K price is actually in USD)

I loved these!! The tour at the end is so stunning. So many configurations and color combos and the design of the last one was so smart. Three sleeping places in the lofts and the master!!

Absolutely Beautiful Home I would rather live in one of these Prefab homes than a tract home development run for the mill cookie cutter homes, nope not for me. Thanks for sharing.

Wow Kerry, Nice! Beautiful home! I'm sure you were excited to see the factory, stay in one of their homes & then get to see the entire process of delivery! I will be watching on more about these homes! Thank you for your informative & fun videos! 😊

Not any more affordable than a regular home.

The Salti is a perfect name for a prefab house that is being installed by the ocean. I wonder if it’s a coincidence or if that’s the main customer for this model. 🤔
Your stakeout was great. Nicely done. It was interesting to see the truck navigate a tight turn on a narrow street. And to see the custom rig in action. 🚛
The piano will be a nice touch. As a fellow musician, I approve. 🎹
Another great video Kerry. You’ve really set the bar high. 😎
