  • Having first completed some laps around Donington Park, Bruce and Tim are joined by road-racing’s Joe Akroyd to show them around the most appropriate roads to properly test bikes such as these, the IOM TT Circuit. The homologation specials from BMW, Ducati and Honda combine to bring this test 660 BHP, 84 Kilo’s of Downforce and £90,000 worth of machinery.
With Michelin providing the control tyre, Power Slick 2’s for track and Power Cup 2 for the roads, the Fast Bikes Team take these bikes to the limits, or is it the other way around?
Thanks to the following for helping to make test like this possible:

You have know idea how much I miss reading the physical magazine over here in the states! I used to get excited to see the magazine and it was like an inch taller than all of our magazines so I could spot it walking up! There's something cool about picking up a new issue and reading it and coming back to it in a couple months a reading it again to compare info! Love the channel!

VW/Audi made a huge improvement to ducati once they were acquired. making the largest/fastest vtwin sports bike ever (Panigale 1199/1299), took them a while to get into 4 cyl's lol because aprilia was/still is killing it with there RSV4 performance wise not selling wise because they just dont win in the GP

@@NudaManThe one who bought Ducati was Lamborghini, and with their own money to save the brand from bankruptcy, VW was actually against it.
Lamborghini works outside of VW influence and does its own thing.
But not many people read or understand corporate financial reports.
Btw, Ducati has more wins in WSBK than all manufacturers combined, way before Lamborghini bought them, to the point that even Japanese manufacturers started to make Vtwin superbikes like the RC51 and TL1000.
Ducati success has nothing to do with VW; all their budget for MotoGP and WSBK and manufacturing is done by their own money, and VW contributes zero cents.

@@Fearless154 Financial reports, no need mate that was proper wank, @Nudeman makes a valid point because the original post was "They do well because they know what to do lmao".The difference since the VAG group have taken over is palpable. They were decent on track and terrible on road, now they finally make a road bike and dominate both. Check out the led headlights on the Lambo Hurrican if you thing VAG has no influence, subliminal VW flexing "VV", "VV", as for the front fairing of the V4.

Yeah, that V4 is bloody amazing. So powerful, linear acceleration above 4500 to redline. Im older, so I have a Pikes Peak with regular valves, but after having this V4, I could never go back to an inline 4. Plus, Ducati's are so well engineered, they are easy to ride fast.

For me it is the Fireblade, the look, the heat management and reliability.
After years and years riding motorcycles, reading and watching everything I can read, I reached to the conclusion that almost all bikes, can give you the power that you can barely use it all, but only few bike can give you the power and peace of mind that it won’t break at any moment on you, thus i choose Fireblade with no hesitation.

The v4R can rev to 16500 but with a tune you can get the V4 to rev to 15000. So overall I’m leaning towards the v4 but I hear great things about the R

Can i just say im really happy this content exists? It is really interesting knowing which bikes feel what way, what their ideal biker size is, road manners, brake manners etc.
However i find it absolutely NAUSEATING when you guys sing praises and make it seem like everyone is a winner.
Is honda or Ducati not ALLOWING you to give us even basic performance indicators? Dyno, a few drag races (both standing and rolling), laptimes, braking distances, fuel economy, fuel range, weight, PRICE (with the options, im guessing that juicy ducati exhaust probably cost the best part of 7000€)
Its amazing how you have access to these locations (Isle of Man, Donington) and these machines, yet at the end of the video you have given us jack shit in terms of real information. Its all impressions, opinions, style preferences…
