oh that explains why I couldn't turn left as easily as right with the same navarre mount and pdl 120. Now I popped on one of those small flat metal pieces that fit into aluminum tracks and that feels secure and can turn left! thanks.😎
Nice setup! I noticed your honeycomb seat cushion. I have one on my old. It's extremely comfortable but it's not as large as yours. Would you be able to send me the link where you purchased yours? I find my cushion moves around a little. Thanks!
Question: On the NK300, you have it offset mount, assuming so that you can keep your rudder for your pedal drive. Does the NK300 lock into a non-swivel mode, or did you have to do something special to keep it in line?
Great vid sir, you definitely got a sub from me! I have the same setup and I want to get the Newport 300 but I’m concerned about the weight. Have you had any issues with this setup being too heavy? Also what’s the approximate weight of your yak fully rigged? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the sub! I haven’t had issues with weight but I do encourage using an additional steering handle specifically for when you’re using the motor. It make turning under power way easier and a tighter turning radius. My total weight is about 550 fully rigged with 10 rods and myself. That’s about max IMO. Thanks again.
Some of the larger trails allow motors. Our local trails here in the Charlotte region typically do not with the exception of two or three events a year.
Great setup! Thank you for sharing!
You bet! Thanks for watching
Great video. Thanks
You bet

Amazing!
Thank you and thanks for creating such a great motor!
Hahaha!!! Raise hell, praise Dale! LOL

@bryceandwesfishing
Very nice setup that's the same setup I've been thinking about going with myself. Minus the electronics you have on yours.🙂🎣👍
Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. This is my third year with this kayak lots of trial and error.

👏👏👏
Thanks brother
If QCKBF/FKA ever allows motors I’m definitely going with the Newport 300.
Yes 🙌🏼

It has a bolt you can thread in to prevent swivel and use factory rudder.
Awesome rig. What is the name of the Go Pro weather proof case?
Thank you

Nice setup maybe considering one not sure yet though
From a guy with bad knees, I definitely enjoy having it.

Looks like you got about the same top speed as I do. 5.98-5.99 topwater 120 PDL. But I use foot steering and still have it offset.
Nice! How much deck space do you lose with foot steering? OT already has limited deck space
are you allowed to fishing tournament with the motor

That's a perfect way to shove 10lbs of poop in a 5 lb bag
